o Just a warning about using this company

o Just a warning about using this business the Vehicle Inspection Australia ( VIA ) in Coburg . We needed a road worthy for our car, and we’re happy that they could accommodate us straight away but that’s where the joy stops. When we dropped off the car it had four wheel covers and when we got it home it had three wheel covers. It was a six km drive at 1pm. I called the V I A back and asked them if the wheel cover was there and he told me that it wasn’t and my wife must have hit a curb which is why it wasn’t on the car. I asked her if that’s what happened and she told me that was not the case. When I told him this he said that she must have hit a curb l know how to put on a wheel cover and it must of come off due to her driving and to have a look for it. We then retraced her steps and found it on Moreland Road near the John Fawkner Hospital and by the look of it had probably been run over a car. I then called him back and told him where the wheel cover was found and she could not have hit a curb and I think that they should replace the wheel cover. Then he told me that I was trying to scam him. I denied this then was probably driving like a crazy person doing 200 kilometers an hour and I told him the car couldn’t do that speed ( a Volkswagen polo) he replied well 180 kilometers an hour . I replied that there is no way that you could do that speed on Moreland road at that hour. He then became abusive and said that I was a liar and a scammer I left the call at that point. He came up with every improbable excuse and blamed everyone else but more than likely he just made a simple mistake l wonder about the quality of the work they perform if this is the reaction they come up with over a simple wheel cover.
