AVOID THIS OFFICE AT ALL COSTS!!

I never post negative reviews on businesses, but I feel compelled to warn people about this one.

AVOID VENETIAN DENTAL AT ALL COSTS!

I ended up seeing them for the first time about 6 months ago for tooth pain, and it was the only one on my insurance list that still took my insurance. Here is my experience with the office in the past month:

1) I called at 9:30 on a Monday and was able to get an appt for 11. I had a very painful ulcer on a tooth. After sitting in the waiting area, I was told that the dentist was too busy and could I come back on Wednesday.

2) The hygienist gave me a saltwater rinse and said if the ulcer didn't improve in 2 weeks to call, and they would refer me to a periodontist. I called on a Wednesday and was told the note would be given to the doctor. I called the next day because I hadn't heard, and it turns out they wrote the referral info in my chart and never called me.

3) The periodontist I was referred to did not take my insurance by the way. I called yesterday and asked them to fax the referral and xrays to the periodontist. I was told to call back the next morning.

4) I just got off the phone with Venetian. The office told me it didn't have time to send a fax today and HUNG UP ON ME.

I see a lot of doctors and I have never experienced this insanely low level of professionalism.
