My journey with the Vera Clinic
I had been considering a hair transplant for some time and came across the Vera Clinic during my search. After some research, I decided to contact them, and from the very beginning, they were incredibly friendly and helpful. My consultant, Tolga, provided me with comprehensive information and took the time to discuss everything thoroughly with me. Tolga was available at any time of day and offered support and advice. All my questions were answered expertly, which made me feel confident from the start. So, I decided to go ahead with the procedure. I had my appointment at the beginning of this year, and I am absolutely thrilled. From the airport pickup to the stay in a 5-star hotel and the treatment itself at the clinic, everything was fantastic. The clinic is truly modern, clean, and welcoming.The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and they even provide an interpreter if needed. The transplant itself went very well, and the work done was excellent. I was also very pleased with the aftercare following the surgery; they provide personalized advice on aftercare products. The follow-up care via WhatsApp is also absolutely fantastic. My consultant, Merve, takes wonderful care of me, giving me clear instructions on the next steps and sending me reminders for the necessary care routines.
My conclusion: I highly recommend the Vera Clinic and would choose this clinic again without hesitation. You receive outstanding care and feel completely at ease from beginning to end. Therefore, 5 stars for the Vera Clinic!

About 2 weeks post transplant but I will say so far so good. Donor area is healing nicely no over harvesting that I can see which was one of my biggest concerns going into this. Vera has been super communicative throughout the entire process. From the original consultation to the post op care they’ve been there to answer all my questions in a timely manner. This was my second visit to Vera and I can honestly say from start to finish the whole experience is as good as you could wish for. Everything is well organised and you are made to feel very well looked after. I had requested the same surgeon as previously and Vera delivered. Outstanding team! The right choice for me
To start, I should say I spent a lot of time researching clinics in Istanbul, and what ultimately set Vera apart was their professional, thought-out, no-pressure approach. They were one of few that took some time to prepare a thorough plan for me (including graft count, target density, options, which for some reason seem illusive to other clinics), answer my questions, listen to my feedback, and make sure I felt comfortable with the plan rather than pushing me to commit.
I was a Norwood 2, and my goal was to fix up my hairline, so I can grow my hair out without worries. Based on my photos, they proposed a natural, conservative (what I was looking for; the fact that they didn't push for max grafts was a big, green flag), age-appropriate hairline, and were very clear that everything would be reassessed in person before finalising anything, so we can achieve the best aesthetic result. A target density and target graft count were included, which matched my desired outcome, as I wanted to avoid over-harvesting my donor area and avoid a thick, non-aesthetic packing, which would age poorly. That flexibility and transparency helped a lot, and my gut feeling was to go ahead with them. I can confidently say: Vera delivered.
I’m currently day 9 post-op, healing has been going exceptionally well, and I overall experienced only minimal swelling during the first 4-5 days. The hairline design already looks very natural, so I am very happy so far. My procedure went very smoothly and took around six hours.
I want to give a special shoutout to the medical staff and technicians, who were excellent, especially Ayşegül — she was outgoing, calm, professional, and reassuring throughout the procedure - she is an all-star (the rest of the team too!). I would definitely put myself in her, and the rest of the team's hands again. The communication team, have also been excellent: Zehra was my consultant, and was fantastic during the pre-op+post-op planning phase, helping organise, answer questions, and helped make the planning around of trip as smooth as possible. At the clinic, Erencan was my amazing translator, and with his support, I was able to align everything with the doctors and feel great with the finalised plan. I did this trip solo, but Erencan made me feel as though good local friend had joined me. We had some great chats and he really went out of his way to help me feel confident. Post-procedure, the all-star has been Burcu from the post-op team, who has been incredibly kind, positive, and supportive during recovery. A huge thanks to all of them again, since they've made the entire experience feel top-notch and me confident that I made the right choice :)
The clinic itself is modern, clean, and very professional. I stayed at the Mövenpick Pendik Hotel, which was comfortable with a good breakfast, and all transportation (airport, hotel, clinic) was punctual and well organized.
One caveat: after the procedure, additional post-op products (vitamins, shampoos, serums) were recommended that are not included in the package. I wasn’t aware of just how much this could cost beforehand (they do warn you to bring extra cash, but I didn't ask just how much), and because I wasn’t prepared with the right amount, I had to pay by card and incur an 8% surcharge (in my case, a bit over 100 euro), which was frustrating, since I deeply dislike giving away money to banks. Not a big deal, but worth asking about ahead of time, especially if you want to follow the clinic's recommended post-op recovery plan with their products AND you hate giving money to banks (like me).
Overall, I’ve had a great experience so far and would absolutely recommend Vera Clinic — especially if you’re looking for a well-thought-out plan and an outstanding team to make it happen!

It's been 8 month already since my hair transplant and the results are amazing, I really love it. I am finally able to walk on the streets without a cap anymore. The follow up is also incredible, they are really attentive.
