It doesn't matter what simple task I need to do with Verizon, it is impossible for them to complete it. Everything is automated by a retarded coder. Just trying to get autopay set up was unsuccessful.... See more

Verizon - Dishonest and Disgusting
Verizon is the worst company. Their customer service lie. They upsell with misrepresentation of the services and products and duped my elderly partner out of over $400 for "free" iPads. I was disconnected from customer service 6 times and had to pay $75 "restocking fees" for each item returned. All in all, we are out over $600 for services we did not need, did not request, and did not want. I cannot get a resolution from Verizon. Was promised a call back... and never received this. After 16yrs of service, we are going to another provider.
Traded in a phone, No Credit
Traded in a phone, confirmed delivery, Called 7 times still waiting for credit. The claim they will correct each time. After 25 years I am going to change. Plus they will not honor the 1 year warrantee on new phones any longer. Time to move on.
Double set up fee and yet doesn’t connect
I went there on 4/3/26 10:45 am to transfer 5 lines and 2 watches fr ATT to Verizon. I was not informed at this Victoria store that in addition to the Set Up & Go fee of $40 per line and $29.99 per watch that I would also be charged $40 per line by Verizon. This is a rip off bec when I left Victra I had no phone service and was told by Rainy I had to wait for 24 hrs for the transfer to be complete. It took a while for the other 4 phones to figure out what they had to do to get connected. By email/wifi, we were able to communicate to the 4 others in different island and states. My phone still could not get or send calls. I could text thru my home WiFi connection. I returned to the Victra store on 4/4/26 and didn’t 30 min with Amanda. It appeared all was good. By Sunday 4/5/26 1:00 pm, I got disconnected while on the phone and could no longer receive or send a phone call. So of course had to return to the store again today 4/6/26. Roz had to call Verizon and tell them to expedite the processing bec my line was still in “in progress” mode in the port. I hope this works bec I will be traveling tomorrow and need to have service. Somehow the staff are not knowledgeable and straight forward. Before they start any any transaction, they need to inform the customer that they will be charged $40 per line by Verizon and $40 per line for Set Up & Go service by the Victra store rep. I am so frustrated and disappointed. I suggest those who want Verizon service to call Verizon to set up or do whatever is needed to open a new account or do it yourself online.
After 26 years with Verizon
After 26 years with Verizon, I had enough. Since 2020 service has tanked. I moved to T-Mobile on March 10. Service is better, no dropped calls, no hours without service. At least once a month I lost Service for 8 hours or more and I work from home using the Verizon Gateway. Both out. How do you get help when both are out of service? Putting the icing on the cake, they build me for a full month of service for my last bill and I was only 8 days into my bill cycle. Customer support person had me on hold for an hour and 15 minutes and then promised that a supervisor would contact me well guess what no supervisor contact. They're overpriced their customer service sucks and so does their service end of statement.
Verizon Wireless' Customer Service Markedly Down
Boy, they had used to be the "top dog" of customer service in wireless companies! No longer. I've been with Verizon for 22 years. Although, I did just change to higher cost calling plans (from an older Grandfathered one) which they do pressure or dupe you into. Or, at least their marketing is very crafty in pulling your nose in their directions. I'm so disappointed at the moment with their untrained and unknowledgeable people. So, I'm NOT so sure I want to stay with them. It is their vast and pretty reliable network that keeps me in the balance. They've definitely gotten very expensive if anyone else cares?
About done with Verizon
We have been loyal Verizon customers for years. All of our products come from Verizon. Our home services and our personal services.
Last November we added a new line with a Iphone 17 pro. To make a long story short it hasn't worked since November. It stays stuck in SOS mode. They sent a replacement plus three other phones that we had no clue what they were for. We had to ship those back, swap over to the new phone and guess what? It's still in SOS mode as I write this review. We have taken the phone to three local Verizon stores spoke with different Representatives spoke with some that we could not understand a word they were saying because they could not speak English and still here we are paying on a line since November that we cannot use. They refuse to credit our account they told us that they would send a return box again, which we're still waiting on. Verizon and it's representatives seem like they could give a damn less abou
t the issues. They refuse to suspend the line or credit us for ALL the unused service. Like I said, we have five lines, internet and other devices with this account, which we are gladly taking to AT&T.
I will make it a point on every social media page or anything where I can leave a review for Verizon to Scorch them as bad as I can for the way they have done us after being loyal to them for over 6 years. And I will let anybody know do not go near a Verizon store.
We simply want the right thing done by us, but I now know Verizon could give a damn less what we, the customers want
Customer service is horrible
Customer service is horrible. Just got off an hour long call to Verizon and after talking to the “Tech Coach” I was handed off the a supervisor. One they finally stopped talking and listened to what I was asking for the issue was dealt with in less than 2 minutes. After being with Verizon since they started service I’m am seriously considering switching to another provider.
Avoid Spokanes Argonne Village Verizon…
Avoid Spokanes Argonne Village Verizon store at all costs. TERRIBLE customer service. After waiting well over an hour while employee had my phone. Then told it was fixed. Went home. Discovered immediately it had not been "fixed". Same issues. Drove back less than 30 minutes later. Who I am assuming is store manager became very rude & defensive. Actually saying the words- "lady we aren't the ones who downloaded your virus" with a smirk. Then proceeded to kick me out of the store. Went to the Verizon on Sprague store. Clerk fixed it in less than 3 minutes.
I am a 75+ year old female. Extremely disgusted with Spokanes Argonne Village Verizon.
Not happy but Verizon trying to make amends
I have spent over 8 hours on the phone with at least nine of their representatives just trying to swap to a new phone. The new phone is exactly like the old phone. Same model and everything. The old phone screen blanked out and the only means that Verizon has to change out phones is sending you a verification link via text. Well if the screen of the phone is blanked out how am I supposed to access that link? I asked for an email link, they refused. I asked for a QR scan code, they refused. I asked to activate it over the phone with an agent, they refused. The sad thing is the only thing the employees could do was keep apologizing for Verizon over and over again. They treat their employees as bad as they treat their customers.
Update: After hours and hours on the phone with Verizon over two days, the 9th agent I spoke with told me the refurbished phone had a STOP on it (stolen or unpaid bill from previous owner). They won't remove the stop. I have to purchase another phone. Not happy!!
Oh.. and they were supposed to call me back. Never happened!
New update from Apr 4: I did finally receive a callback from a Supv. He listened and agreed with my concerns and frustrations. He applied a $100 credit to my account as an apology.
Absolutely horrendous experience
Absolutely horrendous experience. For a company so large and so advanced they couldn't handle a simple process of redirecting my order after it could not be delivered. I spent 6 hours cumulatively trying to resolve this issue and then cancel my order. Not to mention THEIR ACTIVATION TEAM REP YELLED AT ME it was unbelievably inapropriate! This person was from the activation team and I will tell you that I had to be transferred 5 times to get the situation resolved on the final call. The port team is the only team who are actual normal people to communicate with, all other departments communicate like monster robots.
Watch out for billing.
I liked Verizon services until I changed services in Nov. 25. I had a few payments left on my phones which I understood. But, I noticed the monthly billing in Feb. gas exceeded the amount owed. I called and talked to customer service on 2/2 and they said I owed an amount due to not transferring over a watch phone number (which is not eligible to transfer). The Rep. told me that the watch was still in service. I told him that I had called to change carriers in 11/25. He said the watch was being charged at $20 per month as there was no main phone attached. He checked the line and saw. No activity on this line since I changed. He gave me a $15 credit and told me the amount I had to pay today to get paid off. (He collected that day). I just wanted to get done! 3/2 I received another bill and as I did not have my code number, I was told they could not talk to me on the phone. I went to the local office and the manager called in. He was told my March 16 payment would be my final bill. (Once you change carriers if you have paperless billing you cannot see the bills, So you can’t follow what was charged vs. payments). 4/2 I received another bill after twice being told it was all paid off! Help!
Verizon promotional deal bogus…
I signed up on a promotional deal where they would buy my phones back from AT&t and my monthly bill would be lower they lowered my monthly bill but they never honored my promotion they said since their promotional team did not do their job there's nothing I can do about it now I'm stuck only $2,000 never ever trust these guys
I suggest anyone that have T-Mobile…
I suggest anyone that have T-Mobile never to switch over to Verizon. If you actually speak to one of their supervisor, they will hang the phone up in your face. They are so disrespectful. I ordered the phone on a Saturday still haven’t received it. I will never do business with them ever again and some of the representatives are racist. One told me to shut up. They don’t record calls because if they did, they would get in trouble so they tell do not switch to Verizon this place is a scam. They take you through too much stuff for a phone that you paid for already. How could you hold the phone hostage and I paid for it they are so nasty. I hate this place when I say I hate it. I hate it with a passion. Do not come to Verizon. Nothing but lies hidden lies.
We bought the Verizon 5G home internet…
We bought the Verizon 5G home internet service 2 months ago and are lucky to get 10Mb/s down and 2Mb/s up. I might as well be using my phone as a hot spot. They tell me that they are waiting on a "slot" for my area. In the mean time, we pay them for 5G service and get essentially DSL speed.
Verizon Caneron NC store sales person
Verizon Caneron NC store sales person, Chris G.
Chris G. did a outstanding job give us information without pushing any agenda or plan all the way to the final sale. He went through the product with us. Helping getting the phone set up and getting the perks switched over to our new account. He went above his job and did it with professionalism and high knowledge of the products?
They told me to add a line and I’d get…
They told me to add a line and I’d get a free phone. The lady on the phone made a mistake. Told me she would correct it when we get off the phone. I am being charged for this phone. I have been with this company many years and overpaid for my service and stayed loyal. Very disappointed. This company is going in the garbage really fast. I’m out when I can get out.
Verizon is so Stupid
Verizon is so Stupid!
I left Verizon after 40 years of being with Bell Atlantic Mibil, then Verizon because of the constant, Horrible Service!
I get my last bill and I go to pay it and their Stupid Automated System can not even pull my Account Number or Telephone Number up to pay my bill.
Then, I speak with their Humans and they can't pull up my information to pay it either!
If you are with Verizon, you better RUN as far away as possible, get rid of them now!
They do NOT care about their customers.
I had an extremely frustrating…
I had an extremely frustrating experience with Verizon that reflects very poorly on how they handle customer orders and communication.
Yesterday, I placed an order for a wireless home phone and was specifically told that the item was available at a nearby store for pickup the same day. Based on that assurance, I chose the in-store pickup option expecting a smooth and timely process. However, that is not what happened at all.
After waiting a full 24 hours with no update, I contacted customer service only to be told that my order was still “pending” and could take an additional 5–6 days to process. This is completely unacceptable. If the item was supposedly available for pickup, why was the order not fulfilled as promised? Why was I not informed of any delay in advance?
Because of this lack of transparency and reliability, I was forced to contact my bank and request a reversal of the transaction. This should never be necessary for a simple purchase.
This is not the way a business should operate. Giving customers one timeline and then leaving them stuck in a “pending” status with no clear answers is misleading and unprofessional. Verizon needs to seriously improve its order management and communication processes.
Very disappointing experience.
Good service
