Oh man

Oh man, I’ve only just heard this sad news about your company, so sorry. I was just looking@Photos of past holidays on my phone to cheer me up a tad@these such terrible times... so then I googled you to Have a dreamy browse at The rest of the world, the sunsets, beaches, people, places, sites & foods.
But there you were not.
keep safe, keep sane, keep strong and defo keep loving x x

Forgot to say that the happy ace holidays I have had and am referring to above were booked with yourselves. Thank you x

Maybe look at their website it clearly…

Maybe look at their website it clearly states gone in to liquidation! Think of the staff who have lost their job 3 months before Xmas! Booked with them for years and honestly my heart breaks for all the girls at very! I pray they all get new jobs to support there families! You want to blame anyone blame Thomas cook!! Good luck to all the girls at very I thought you were brilliant xx

NEVER AGAIN

never again will i use very the customer service is awful got my hotel voucher last week and there was no transfer voucher with it i had been trying from monday to thursday both phone and email to be told on the transfers had not been booked but they were booking them on thursday and i would have the voucher sent in an email later that day this is now the following week i travel tomorrow the 17th of october and still can not get through to them i have sent 12 emails and no reply dont even know if transfers have been booked or if they have who with.

Bad customer service

Don't ever use them! Worst customer service- that is if you can even get through to them. They do not respond to emails, and you call the different numbers for them and you are left waiting and waiting to get through but you never do. They also mucked up our transfers and they didn't even send us the information for them. My partner and I had to figure out ourselves what coaches to catch! Absolute joke. Do not trust them and will never use them again

WE travelled with Very on the 16th…

Worst customer service I've ever known.
WE travelled to Lanzarote on the 16th September for our honeymoon and returned on the 26th September. I have been trying to get a response to my emails and phone calls since the 27th with no joy. Tina who we booked through just says keep trying! Even though part of the complaint is due to a mistake Tina made!!
Would never recommend this company to anyone. CANT EVEN GET AN ACKNOWLEDGMENT TO MY COMPLAINT NEVER MIND IT BEING RESOLVED

I booked a holiday with Fran at very holidays Fran was very helpfull.
Now the holiday is cancelled (Thomas cook).Fran was in touch with me regularly keeping me up dated and then telling me what to do to recive money back.
I am do greatfull to Fran who has taken the stress away by knowing she is at hand she never complains about getting in touch .
Some friends I know had booked with other companies and got no help after Thomas cook went bust .
A very very big thank you to Fran.
People should remember Thomas cook was a big big company do travel agents have been busy getting in touch with us all they can only tell us what they know.
I can't believe Iv seen bad reviews but I certainly don't have a bad word Iv had great help .
I highly recommend very holidays and fell Fran is more like a friend really cares about her customers do I say 10 out of 10 Fran and a very big thank you for your help .

Awful company messed up our holiday!

Awful company messed up our holiday as booked our hotel for the wrong dates we got no apology for this and they made everything seem like it was a hardship for them and like they were doing us a favour. Had to chase them continually for a resolution and then had to move for final 4 days of our holiday. They put us in an awful hotel that completely spoilt our holiday and we have now complained and they don't even have the decency to acknowledge or respond.

Stay Clear Customer Service is non existant....

Under no circumstances would I recommend this company.
The collapse of Thomas Cook led to the subsequent collapse of The Freedom Travel Group. This happened 5 days before I was due to travel. Unknown to me, Very Holidays had used this company to book my shuttle transfers to and from Rhodes airport to my resort.
Very Holidays failed to let me know about this so arriving at Rhodes with a now useless voucher for travel meant we were stranded. Of course nobody could tell me what had occurred other than my shutle had been cancelled. Several phone calls later all I had managed to find out is that the Very Holidays office is closed until Monday (this was Saturday afternoon)
I took a cab and emailed Very to find out what had happened and for them to sort out the return transport a week later. No reply whatsover!
I was determined not to let this make me angry and spoil the holiday anymore than it already was so left it until the last minute and then got a cab back to the airport.
Upon my return I emailed them again threatening legal action and only then did they reply to inform me of the collapse of The Freedom Group and to give me a website to claim my out of pocket expenses. No explanation of why they had failed to let me know before I travelled and no explanation of why they had ignored my first email.
I think that the lack of Customer Service has angered me far more than the collapse of The Freedom Group and the stranding at Rhodes!
Needless to say I will never use this company again

Booked a Holiday with Fran at very holidays. The holiday was with Thomas cook and paid £2500. Communication was excellent and Fran has been fantastic. She has constantly kept us updated and has given us help with what to do next. I would highly recommend and will definitely be asking her to find my next holiday.. Thankyou Fran.xx I have booked a holiday with Hays travel and they are liars. Reading the reviews and the trouble I had with Hay travel I can assure you it wouldn't have been very holidays that misinformed you they would have been following the instruction from the CAA or hays travel themselves Have never booked with them since.!!! If you need any help Fran would always be happy to assist her customer service is excellent!!

Just fantastic customer service!

I have no hesitation at all at recommending Very. I have booked with Jade for the third time now. Costumer service is second to none, nothing is too much trouble, even when she is on holiday she has has picked up and dealt with my booking requests. A very safe pair of hands who wants to make sure you have the best holiday experience! Thanks Jade.

Please do not read the bad reviews on Very Holidays, I book my holidays with Fran and have never had any problems! I used to work in the travel industry and have dealt with companies going into liquidation in the passed and with the recent collapse of Thomas Cook I could not imagine what the staff are having to deal with right now and I think people need to have a little bit more understanding of how great this collapse would of had on the travel industry in a whole! Good Luck Very Holidays and I will continue to use you in the future!

Absolute nightmare!!!! Do not use !!!!

I have booked with very holidays and I was telephoned to be told about Thomas cook and our holiday being cancelled the day after they went into liquidation,I was told to contact a company called Hays whom I had never heard of and they would deal with our refund which I did they then told us that very were dealing with it so I called the person back only getting answer machine after 3 days he called me didn’t know nothing only complaining to me about how he is working all the hours and he even had his son outside SORRY not interested!!!! He told me to call very on another number or email.I have been calling very about 3 or 4 times a day now and no answer also emailed no answer .This is the worst company ever !!!!! Problems from the start . Just want my money back which I am entitled to .

If i could give 0 stars i would. No communication from these people whatsoever, never answering the phone. i just want to know where i stand regarding my cancelled holiday, and by the sounds of it they cant access the atol or abta certs, which leads me to believe they never had them in the first place!...absolutely fuming, so be warned about dealing with these people and i use the term people lightly

Hopefully this assures you that we did have them in the first place and that you are no longer fuming. I can assure you that we are also real people. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY

We were in Malta when the collapse of Thomas Cook was announced. After several emails to VeryHolidays, I received an email from them saying they would contact me regarding the flight home nearer our going home date. Nothing was received. No contact was made to us after several attempts to contact them. We eventually managed to find out ourselves when we were flying home and who with via the internet. It seems as if once they have their money they are not interested in the customer anymore. We returned on 26th September and we still have not received any contact!

Bad customer service

We booked via Very Holidays to Greece , we received flight information but no hotel or transfer details, everytime we rang no answer!! when we arrived in Greece NO transfer had to get taxi to hotel, upon arrival we had nothing in writing to confirm our booking but eventually the hotel confirmed ok, we called very holidays numerous times no answer and emailed them 3 times during our stay for them to confirm if we did have transfers booked but had no response so we had to book further transfers to be on the safe side, will not use this company again
