This appears to be a scam

This appears to be a scam. The flonote pen arrived but there were zero instructions on how to use it. It came in a blank box. No app. No QR code on how to set it up. For all I know it's just a regular pen that has a button on it that does nothing.

I contacted customer service twice. I can see on my end that they opened the email, within less than an hour or so, but they did not respond to me. Just ignored me.

I would give 0 stars if I could

I would give 0 stars if I could - where do I start? When I received my package I opened it and found a small note on how the hardware works and instructions on downloading the app. First red flag - the app only allows a phone number from mainland china and does not allow me to create a login. Ok - so I run in guest mode - record a few meetings and the AI gave me gibberish - made no sense. I e tried to get help to no avail. This company is a scam. Only after I put a claim in with my credit card company did they finally respond telling me that I can get a 50% refund and I should take it because it’s the best I can get. Please run as fast as you can from this company.

I ordered the Vettaflo speech recorder…

I ordered the Vettaflo speech recorder to text, sent the payment on line and it took a week before the item was delivered to the airport and then apparently seven days further before delivery. Vettaflo did not make this clear as I would not have ordered it with this delay so it will eventually be delivered when i have left for my vacation.

Wanted to love them...Horrible customer service

I wanted to love this company and the clothing that I purchased from them. They are known as a sustainable brand, the clothing is made in the USA, and the styles are so chic! I eyed a couple of specific products for at least a year before I decided to make my purchase. A significant downside is that they do not allow customer reviews on their website, so that made my purchase decision more difficult.

When I initially received my purchase, I was impressed by the quality and the multi-wear options of what I purchased. But the material was recycled polyester, and I just couldn't get past the horrible feel of the fabric. So, I followed their return process by sending them back within 30 days. It seemed straightforward and easy enough.

But then I was stunned when they sent the products back to me saying that they failed their return inspection. It was completely ridiculous as they said the clothing had stains (they did not, I even sent photos back to document that) and an odor (nothing other than the horrible plastic smell from the chemical cocktail of fake polyester).

Customer service initially ignored my communication attempts to resolve this. It was only after I pursued a refund through my bank that they got back to me to say that they had changed their mind and decided to process my return. Needless to say, they've lost a customer over this unfortunate experience. I do like that they offer some options with natural fabrics, and again, there is a lot to love about the company on paper-- but after this experience, I will not be shopping with them again.

I also find it highly suspect whenever brands don't allow product reviews on their website. I hope Vetta can work on their customer service and change this practice as well.

I ordered one shirt

I ordered one shirt. I thought it was beautiful and well made however it was too big. And when I went to return I had to pay an $8 handling fee. Just wanted to let you know returns are not free.

Bad customer service

I've purchased a few items from Vetta and really have enjoyed them.

That said, I am probably going to stop shopping from them after a recent customer service experience. I purchased some sale items I found on the website. Before I ordered, I double-checked the returns page. It says that I could return the items for store credit. So I purchased items - two of which didn't fit and were of horrible quality. I reached out to return them and Vetta told me they had no return policy. I sent them a link to the FAQ page I had on file. They didn't respond. Three days later, I went back to the email I sent them and the link I had sent them to the FAQ had been deactivated. I realize that page was an error on their part - they've clearly updated the page and removed it since I sent it to them. They did not respond to my question. I get they're a small business, but it's not the consumer's job to clean up after their mistakes. I'll adjust this review if I get a response, but honestly, my expectations are low.

Lacking quality, strange wrinkle problem

I did keep a few of the items I ordered (would recommend sizing down for sure!) I'm a little skeptical of the pieces I have kept since they don't seem as high of quality as I expected and from what others are saying they don't hold up well over time/washing. Mostly my complaint lies with the fabric- Tencel. The midi dress I ordered came folded in a plastic package and was full of wrinkles. Tencel is supposed to be pretty wrinkle resistant but strangely this was the opposite. It said it could be ironed so I carefully ironed on low and then on medium for about half an hour at least on one specific wrinkle and no matter what I tried it WOULDN'T come out! I couldn't believe a wrinkle would be so stubborn. I never did get it out and the dress was covered in them so I sent it back. I won't buy anything of that material now. I really wanted to like this brand because I want to support a greener and more ethical clothing industry but I can't spend over 125 bucks on a permanently wrinkly dress. Does not look like the smooth dress they show in advertising.

My new favorite brand!

I have been following VETTA for a while and finally decided to take the plunge and purchase a whole 5 piece capsule, and let me tell you I was blown away! Every piece was so thoughtfully designed, and the quality feels amazing. Most sustainable brands are selling the same quality products for 2-3x the cost. VETTA is definitely worth the value. I had a little trouble recreating a few of the ways to wear with one of the dresses that I bought, and the customer service team was amazing and even sent me a video with steps on how to wear the dress. I have been wearing my pieces on repeat, and will definitely be coming back to purchase more.

It's really unfortunate that I need to leave

It's really unfortunate that I have to leave this company. When I first got pieces/bought older versions off of others, they were high quality and still hold up.

Lately I've had quality issues left and right and it sucks because I haven't found an alternative to Vetta.

I get they're a small business but they used to have quality control and somewhere in their growth its disappeared. I know why Vetta costs so much, and that's not the issue for me. It really is just how quickly everything falls apart then I have half of an outfit or have to get a tailor to repair things that could have been made better/checked for length of wear.

To be sustainable, let's not only think about the materials and employee pay, but the life of the pieces as well.

Not Impressed with Quality

For what you pay for, I expected a lot more. I recently ordered the two dresses and a pair of pants from the timeless capsule. I sent the white shirt-skirt back because it was HUGE. I am roughly the same height and build as the model they used and I don't see how the version she was wearing wasn't altered. I ended up keeping the pants and two piece button down dress, but now that I've washed (and air dried) and worn them once, I'm not impressed by the quality. The button holes are frayed and not done well, one of the buttons popped off the top while I was at work and I had to sew it back on, and the fabric wrinkled so much after a short period of time. The overall design is well done and I love that they have thought about how you can pair different pieces together and add buttons in strategic places so you can connect them together, but for $125-$150+ for each piece, there shouldn't be issues with all the buttons. I don't know that I will order from here again given the inconsistent sizing and quality issues, since, as other reviews have mentioned, there is a fee to return. To their credit though, mine was processed very quickly and I appreciate that.

I was really excited to purchase from…

I was really excited to purchase from this company, and found creating my own capsule to be a great way to do that more affordably. But they were out of half of what I wanted, and the products had reviews that said people waited more than a year for what they wanted to come back into stock! If I want to purchase items that go together, I'll have to buy them one at a time (negating the discount of a capsule), cross my fingers that the matching items will eventually come back in stock, and possibly have to wait a year for them to do so?! No, thank you. I wanted to support a business that claims to be women-owned and sustainable and seems to have some great clothes for packing lightly when traveling, but I can't afford to take my chances on this--especially after reading reviews about the varied quality of the pieces.

0 Responsibility. Problematic Support Emails.

I was so excited to buy from VETTA. I'd seen great things from other reviewers and on social media. The sustainable concept is cool and I thought was totally something I could get on board with. That's where the good things end. The second you open that package, they screw you over every chance they get while pretending their morals and service are beyond reproach.

I was grossly surprised at what a low quality, badly designed product I received. I ordered a top and it was not at all as described, between the feel, fit, cut, and fabric texture and PATTERN, of all things. Immediately upon opening the package I knew I'd be returning the shirt, only to visit their website and find out VETTA has the absolute, without a doubt, worst return policy I've come across in years. Any return of a sale item, no matter if the product is damaged or if they sent you the wrong thing or even if you just don't like it, requires a $7.95 "return fee" and sometimes you're required to pay shipping as well. Excuse me??

When I reached out to support to make sure I understood (because it sounded so ridiculous and in all my years of online shopping I've NEVER been asked to pay a return fee or rarely even for return shipping) their response was to suggest that I, their customer, couldn't possibly understand the struggles they face as a small, women-owned business. Seriously. I run a small women-owned small business. For a company portraying themselves as so progressive and well-meaning, I couldn't believe how problematic this whole situation has been.

Claims no Ownership over Returns Process

The concept of this brand is great and from my first order, there were two items that had a versatile design and great quality. I honestly was really excited to purchase from them given their capsule concept.

Out of my order, there were three items that I thought were overpriced for the material, threads were loose, etc.. As a result, I went through their return process to send them back.

This is when the trouble started. The order I made was paid for approximately with ~1/3 giftcard and ~2/3 credit card. I opted to pay the $7.95 shipping fee to have it processed back to my credit card.

A week went by after the return arrived at their facility. I get an email that the return was processed. A few days later, I still hadn't seen the refund on my credit card statement.

I emailed them to inquire and they stated that the refund had went back on the original giftcard that was used. I didn't receive any information stating this had happened. The giftcard had been used in full for my original purchase, so I didn't even have the giftcard number on hand anymore.

I asked if my credit card could be refunded instead and they claimed that gift cards were always refunded first. Okay - that might make sense if a majority of the order was paid with a giftcard, but it wasn't. This seemed like another way for them to get me to continue buying stuff from them.

I pressed further for clarity and suddenly the story changed - it was no longer that giftcards get processed first but that they had to avoid fraud and it wasn't their fault, the third party purchasing system did it for them, they had no control over their returns, etc.

Long story short, they claimed they had no ownership over their return system or how it worked. I was also being pressured to make another order just to use up my giftcard balance with them. Their clothes are not cheap and the fact that I was expected to purchase again was not a small thing.

All in all, for the price point, and their claim that they cannot hold responsibility for their return process or system makes me hesitant to do business with them. If you don't want to get stuck with potentially expensive items that might not be the quality you expect or if you don't want to deal with a potentially convoluted return system, steer clear.

I love seeing small businesses grow, and I know there are kinks along the way, but not being able to control or clearly explain your return process to take ownership of your customer experience is something that could be improved.

Varied Experience,

My experience with this brand has been really mixed. Below I'll include the pros and cons.

The PROS
The customer service is good and fast just like the shipping. Their returns process is easy and they've given a really generous return window because of COVID-19. The capsules that they offer are expensive, but they are generally pretty great. Sometimes the clothing isn't my style but since they've allowed you to buy individual pieces, this isn't a problem. They even let you design your own capsule and offer you a discount when you do. When the pieces are high quality, they're really high quality. Additionally, they're a sustainable, environmentally friendly company and woman-owned.

The CONS
So the quality of the clothing is really, really varied considering how expensive it is. You could get a piece that's high quality and a flimsy piece in the same shipment. I've gotten a pair of pants that had loose threads all over the place, a very loose button, and when I LIGHTLY tugged at the belt loop, it fell apart. Keep in mind these pants cost $129 and I had JUST taken them out of the packaging. In the shipment I also received a top that was durable and strong. The sizing is all over the place too, a size 4 in one dress will be a completely different experience in another, and it's not a matter of styling. I don't know what pieces they send to small/sustainable business reviewers, but they must get higher quality pieces than the ones they tend to sell the general public, as I have yet to hear about the issues I've encountered from any reviewer.

Overall, this is a pretty ok sustainable brand, but just be aware of some possible cons when ordering the clothing.
