Moved to darwen and called up this company for removal of a the whole house renovation. Brilliant service came on the time I wanted and took everything I needed them to take! Friendly and quick service! Would defo use again.

I highly recommend via removals and storage to everybody, they have packed my belongings in one day and the second day they moved me out of my house. I went from Manchester to London. Long distance with via removals was stress free. They dismantled and reassembled my items; my dishwasher, my washing machine, my dryer and my cooker disconnected by them and reconnected by them. They have a very competitive price for my pack and house move, they were cheaper about £980 comparing to other companies, i will recommend this firm to everybody and I’m sorry Qas that I couldn’t put this reviews earlier.

Via arrived promptly at 8am. We had a lot of stuff - a garage full, a cellar full and a full 3 bedroom house. They sent 6 workers with the two vans and got to work immediately. There was a lot of fragile stuff and they were careful with it all. They were friendly, professional and cordial throughout. We made them cups of tea and biscuits for their breaks which went down well. Once the packing was done they set off to our new home. However, once we got there we discovered the sellers had not moved out. We had to wait from 3.30pm to almost 7.00pm for them to leave which was very stressful. Via were patient and waited for the whole time despite the fact they lived 2 hours away and had a 6.00am start the following day. We bought them all a McDonalds, while we were waiting, which was well deserved.We were amazed at how calm they were and then they moved everything into the house before a cheerful goodbye. All in all a very positive experience despite everything. We would definitely use them for our next move and we would recommend these guys to everyone out there. Thanks for everything Via.

I’m disappointed to not be able to give this more than 3 stars because the lads on the day grafted hard! Really hard! However, there are a number of things that we were disappointed with. The person “in charge” (not involved with the actual move) kas - he had a terrible attitude and clearly didn’t communicate with his team very well. They turned up seeming not to know when they were here for - it was packing on the Saturday. I would tell one person the things that needed not to be packed but then another person would pack it anyway or quite often, apart from Damo, who had excellent communication, they would just pack it anyway. Instead of just asking if we wanted to dispose - they packed wet sponges and food waste which seems a weird thing to do. Was happy with the care taken on the kitchen items but some breakables in other rooms were not wrapped to the same standard. Once all packed up we then had a call with Kas who informed us the job was going to cost extra. Really frustrating as he quoted via video call so saw what was there. Wouldn’t mind paying more in the first place if they had just been honest but it felt sneaky and left us with little choice - felt like they were making the most of what is a stressful situation. Also should point out there are extra costs that they don’t tell you about in the quote - £70 per hour if they have to wait between getting the van full and unloading at the new place. Knowing this we didn’t want them to come early as we weren't expected to complete until 1pm. Kas attitude on this was to tell us he’d been moving houses for 25 years etc etched he wanted to start at 8am or earlier. We agreed to start at 9 instead of 8 and this worked out exactly right to avoid us paying extra. Move day was Monday all went well getting items from a to b - 15mins away. All looked good but since unpacking further we have seen lots of damage. Our book shelf has snapped, despite me telling them several times how to handle it, they didn’t and so it is now broken as well as having a fist sized hole where they tried to force it back together. One of the wardrobes is also now broken. Reading the small print of the contract, the insurance is a waste of money as there is a £250 excess and a long list of things it doesn’t cover. You also aren’t guaranteed to have cover but still have to pay the £250. The contract document itself is riddled with inaccuracies and just feels like a long list of exclusions. I’ll spend the £250 towards buying new than the pain of going through that process which I suppose is what they rely on. All in all we were happy with the effort but less so on the outcome. 5 stars for hard work to the lads. 3 stars are for the company itself and for some of the damage caused.

5 star service squeezed us in last minute. Professional helpful very careful with items. Planned out what to pack where and did a great job great value for money. Would use again and highly recommended.
