DO NOT BUY THIS FROM ANY SITE
I purchased the Viviato Stridemate 2-in-1 walking pad for £295 as I am currently unable to leave my home due to anxiety and was hoping it would support my wellbeing at home.
When the item arrived, it was clearly used and not in a new condition as advertised. Given its weight, I also had to arrange assistance to receive and move the delivery, which made the situation even more difficult.
I contacted customer service to request a partial refund due to the condition of the item, as the damage/previous use was significant. I was offered only £21.25 as compensation, which I feel is completely inadequate and does not reflect the issue or the inconvenience caused.
I am very disappointed with both the condition the product arrived in and the response to my complaint. At this stage, I feel let down and would strongly advise others to be cautious when purchasing exercise equipment from this company.
Not as advertised
I bought a Viavito Runtivity Treadmill. It is advertised as being compatible with Zwift and other similar apps. Unfortunately it does not show the course on the screen as advertised. The whole point in buying this machine was because it had an inbuilt monitor and a tablet holder would not be necessary
I reached out to the company to check if it was human error and the responses i have received have been dreadful. They cannot answer my query. They keep asking for videos which i have sent and then saying they haven't received them. Not that a video should be needed to answer a imple question.
Awful service. I spent £1000 on the treadmill and i will now be taking them to court for false advertising as they cannot prove to me otherwise.
Terrible customer service - stay away from this company
Noisy and unreliable product
I had the misfortune to but the
'VIAVITO Sina Elliptical Cross Trainer' a while ago and have had nothing but trouble with it. It creaks, clunks, squeaks, and is unreliable, borderline dangerous.
The fixings on the front stabiliser were loose creating a horrible constant squeak and making in very unstable. I contacted the Viavito 'customer services' and was treated with nothing short disdain, and was given a random web address to get spares. Needless to say this website did not stock any Viavito products.
Absolutely the worst purchase that I have ever made online. I am very annoyed that I have to give it 1 star on this review.
Good quality, excellent support
I was very impressed with the build quality of the item (table football table) and the responsiveness of the customer services team. My minor issue was immediately picked up by a member of the team, who quickly resolved the problem. The best customer services experience I’ve had from a company for a while!
Wildly inaccurate LunaRun Treadmill - don’t buy.
Bought a LunaRun Treadmill based on good reviews on the website and a few good industry reviews. Everything seemed good on delivery, very easy to put together and get going. However, I noticed straight away just by feel that the speed settings were way off. I was running 6 minute kilometres according to the machine, which is not even breaking a sweat for me yet it was clearly faster than that. A check with a runpod I knew was accurate showed that the indicated speeds are around 20% less than actual - 10km/hr on the machine is actually more like 12km/hr and whole minute per km faster!
I contacted Viavito support to query if there is any calibration possible, to be told no, it’s just a home machine, calibrated in the factory and accuracy can’t be compared to any other machine so tough luck.
Honestly don’t buy this, for virtually the same price you can get the new Reebok GT40z which is also Bluetooth/ Zwift compatible and is a tried and tested brand. It’s what I should have done and it’s the last piece of equipment I buy from Viavito. A couple of days later and it’s also now squeaking when you run unless you incline it. I don’t think the industry reviewers are giving favourable reviews based on any proper testing.
Manufacturing defect ?
I have had three Viavito Setry 2 in 1 cross trainers now. All have failed within 12 months of purchase. I use it as a cycle so sit on the seat rather than use the walking feature. The first one suddenly became impossible to pedal, like the resistance was 100%. I was provided with a replacement. The second one failed with the same problem after 4 months. Again, I received a replacement. This one lasted 11 months and the same problem occurred. This time, I removed the cover to find a crack in the weld between the seat post and the part of the mechanism that controls resistance. I conclude this is a weak point of the machine. I've been offered another replacement but want a refund instead. They have asked my weight etc. I am 12 and a half stone, have a spinal injury and about 50% use of my legs, so I hardly overload the machine!! I wonder if anybody else has had the same issue as the retailer says it is the first time they have come across this fault on the product but I cannot believe that!!
Please be aware that when you purchase…
Please be aware that when you purchase the Sina Elliptical from their website for £499, you won't be able to obtain spare parts if something breaks. I've had mine for 2 years and have been told the issue is the console or the motor. The console will cost £60, there are no spare motors. It's appalling to charge this much money knowing that a faulty product can't be repaired if it needs to be. Email contact has been very slow and uninterested. I'll call tomorrow to see if anything else can be done as I'm not prepared to pay another £60 for something to find out that the console isn't the issue.
Edit: Viavito has been in touch and suggested several other things that could be causing the issue so I will look into these and go from there. I'm hoping it is just the console and won't need an engineer to come out and put a new motor in as this is incredibly expensive.

Recently bought a Viavito rowing machine wish I hadn’t now
Only done about 40,000 metres on it already getting a massive squeaking from the aluminium frame when the saddle goes backwards and forwards
Viavito have sent me out a replacement saddle and frame but still got the same squeaking noise when I use it
From my experience you buy cheap you buy again
Stay away from this brand and splash out that’s what I wish I had done
Multi function bench TX1000GT
Got bench, which failed in 3 places by poor steel/welding quality.
Save yourself time time and money..
Tried support, all they offered is spare parts to buy with months of lead time..
Dont bother and pay little extra to company who stands by their products and reputation.
Am out. Thank you.

I had a problem with my crank and pedal after a couple of years of use. The customer service i experienced was superb. They sorted out the problem very quickly and free of charge. Can not fault them at all and would recomend.
Luna run treadmill
I bought a Luna run treadmill. It is well designed and importantly for me folds up to a very small footprint. It does everything I want it too. The speeds are good and the motorised incline is great. The there are some design problems, it could do with bluetooth, and the screen is a bit basic and 1990s looking.
I had a few small problems with the treadmill but Viavito customer services were great and sorted them.
Great design, but not suitably durable
The good thing was that we found their customer service great; the less good thing was that their Onyx folding exercise bike, while being a very pretty, very easy to use and very compact folding exercise bike, required all the customer service they had ... three bikes - the original and two replacements - broke, the last two within a month or so (the first one lasted nearly a year). So, despite a nice design which suited us well, ultimately, it's maybe not well enough made to deal with a daily 15km. Sad!
Very dangerous piece of equipment
I recently bought a foldable Viavito rowing machine. I put it together, but when I reached the last part of the instructions, it said that when in the upright position, secure it with the pin so that it doesn't fall down. It was not possible to "secure it with the pin" in the upright position because the back plate was too long and obscured the hole. I contacted Viavito and sent them photos, but they came back and said that it's not supposed to be locked in the upright position.
That is not only contrary to the instructions included, but my dog accidentally knocked against the machine in the upright position and the heavy upright fell down missing her by an inch. If that had been a child, and the arm landed on them, especially their head - it could kill them.
I personally think the wrong back plate was included, because if it was a couple of inches shorter, you could secure the arm in the upright position, and then it would be safe.
I'll end up sawing off the 2 inches and making the machine safe, but i shouldn't have to if they'd sent the correct backplate, or designed the machine to be less lethal. Certainly wouldn't recommend any of these collapsable rowing machines, but I'd now be suspicious of the safety of all their equipment.
Very happy with this company
I ordered some 1” weights from another website (iron strength, don’t use these guys). No indication they didn’t have stock, got an email saying delivery will be up to 14 days. 14 days came and went, no emails, no delivery, nothing. Asked for a refund, told it could be 10 days, but read their trustpilot, it sounds like I’ll be in a fight to get my money back.
Now then, ordered 1” weights from Viavito on a Wednesday evening. They showed as in stock. They were dispatched on the Thursday and delivered to my house Friday lunchtime. Now that’s what I call a good service. Genuinely couldn’t ask for better at the moment! Good price as well, much cheaper than eBay or Facebook sellers who are trying to rip everyone off. I got 40kg of weights for £95 including next day delivery. Beat that if you can.
The cross trainer i bought from them is…
The cross trainer i bought from them is way better than my previous Reebok trainer. Alot more sturdy and since using it, i found it really good and no noise whatever.
When the cross trainer got delivered, i got a phone call from the company to confirm that everything was ok and was happy with them checking that the product arrived safety.
Good Cross Trainer, flawed console software
Good Cross Trainer, flawed console software
This is a longer review than I would normally provide because I wanted to explain what was behind the title.
I chose the Viavito Sino after reading some very good reviews on seemingly professional, unbiased sites and much of what they said holds true but I now doubt many of them went beyond the Sweatband website information.
First the good bits, and there are plenty good things to report, before I explain why the cross trainer was eventually returned.
I agree with others that the construction manual is awful but they have a great YouTube video with step by step instructions that are easy to follow. Also, the small components such as bolts, washers, etc are laid out on a sheet of cardboard with the component silhouette behind, fully labelled and held in place by a tight plastic cover. It is an excellent way to pack these components and I only wish other companies would do the same.
The cross trainer itself has an excellent action, good stride length, is very smooth - I really liked using it and it’s a shame it was finally returned.
The user instructions are poor - they are part of the construction manual and are equally awful. Unfortunately there isn’t a YouTube user guide to explain the programmes but experienced gym members will have no real problems working most of it out.
The console problems first arose with the calorie count and effort meter (Watts). These were roughly 80% above the readings I’m familiar with from various gym cross trainers and I soon learned to ignore them. I realise these counters are only for guidance and generally not accurate but these readings are way off and I would not recommend the Viavito Sino if you need to use it for calorie control / counting.
The real problem is with the Heart Rate Monitor system, especially when using Viavito’s own remote chest strap. The Sino’s handlebar pulse sensors are fitted to the static handles, not the moving ones. However, the Heart Rate Control only work with a chest strap and one is therefore essential if you wish to fully exercise whilst using the HRC programmes. This is quite common in home cross trainers and would not be a problem if it worked but it does not.
Mid exercise and occasionally using the handlebar sensors my heart rate was recorded as 140 - 150 bpm but the reading with the chest strap sensors would never go above 80 - 85 bpm. That meant the automatic HRC speed / effort controls did not kick in and I could not monitor my heart rate.
The Sweatband Support Team were excellent and really tried to solve the problem but a replacement chest strap and two replacement consoles all gave the same result and I decided to return the cross trainer for a refund.
Looking back across previous reviews I found other references to problems with the console readings so this is not a new problem. Also, Sweatband and Viavito are part of the same company group so the solution is totally within their hands - just sort out the console / software. When that is done this will be an excellent home cross trainer once again.
so far so good
Recently bought a travel yoga mat. Decent quality and padding. Lightweight and folds well. So far so good...
Poor pre-sales enquiry handling
I was interested in purchasing a Viavito Satori Exercise Bike from this company, and had a simple (to me) enquiry about the minimum person height. It took 5 days for them to "assemble" a bike to try (a task that takes minutes, according to their video) and then quote me a MINIMUM inside leg measurement of 39.5 inches... I am 5'10", and my inside leg is 32"!
Obviously, I queried this, and got a reply asking to discuss it by phone, so gave them my number. Four days later, still nothing, so I e-mailed and told them I was no longer interested. Which resulted in an immediate reply claiming to have left a voicemail; I checked and have received no voicemail...
I was impressed by the bike, but if this is what they are like pre-purchase, then I dread to think what would have lain ahead once I had placed an order.
Not to be trusted with personal data.
I placed an order on Saturday 8th December 2018 for an exercise bike. Within about 10-15 minutes I got a telephone from an anxious customer telling that they had received confirmation of my order by email from Viavito which contained all my personal details (which is how they knew how to contact me). They were naturally concerned that my purchase may be charged to them. I tried phoning Viavito several times but only got an engaged tone. I emailed them telling them about the problem but got no response (it was Saturday). Since I was concerned about what security details and how widely Viavito had distributed them, I was forced to cancel my credit card as a precaution against fraudulent use. When I didn't get a response from them Monday morning (10th Dec), I phoned them late morning. They advised me that they would investigate the issue and would get back to me. That was one month ago. I'm still waiting. Since this was a serious breach of their responsibilities and duty of care under the Data Protection Act, I find their indifference to their legal responsibilities to customers a complete disgrace. It really doesn't matter how good their products may or may not be, they have demonstrated that they are not a company that can trusted with customer details and made no effort to deal with this customer's concerns and security breaches.
Lunarun treadmill and Viavito customer service.
I bought a Lunarun treadmill on 28th December 2016 and it was fine until December 13th 2017 when the running surface started to split. I contacted Viavito and was told a replacement machine would be with me before Xmas. It didn't come until 4th Jan which I didn't mind as it was Xmas etc. The replacement machine arrived with broken cup holders and, after setting it up the safety key wouldn't work and the machine wouldn't cut out when it was released. It would only register speed and distance in Kph not Mph. I contacted Rob at Viavito who said that it was just a consol problem and sent a new one out, this consol did the same thing. Once again I contacted Rob at Viavito who assured me that a new treadmill would be sent out to me. Couldn't get a response from them all of February and finally on March 15th Rob contacted me to say it would be the following week as they had new stock in. that was the last I heard from them, couldn't get in touch, emails ignored so I'm stuck with a dodgy treadmill as I just gave up then. I wouldn't recommend this company atall, everything about my experience with them was awful from delivery to communication to their equipment.
