Vilayer LTD Reviews 

Bought a Minecraft server from them. Despite promising pre-installs it would not work out of the box. Their terms and conditions state you can get a refund within 24 hours. Despite opening a ticket with no response. Im now forced to dispute/chargeback this through PayPal because of the lack of customer service. To top it off it states on my bill that it's gone to collections. Well put it this way, I'm getting my money back and I'm protected under UK law for a service I never received.

I was renting 2 servers for around 8 months all was good until 2 weeks ago when the servers went off-line i submitted at lest 8 support tickets sent emails and not one response

I rented a server 4 years ago, and was very pleased with the service I got back then. So when my group of friends decided we needed a game server, I chose to go back to Vilayer. The service has been absolutely horrible an extremely unprofessional. The Vilayer website itself sometimes doesn't even work properly in Chrome, so the chat feature was unavailable until we figured out the problem, and using the support e-mail only resulted in rude replies from support staff telling us to "use the chat". I think the support staff only consist of 3 very rude men who are not helpful at all, because once we got the chat working, there are only ever a few names appearing.

The game server kept crashing, and does not save properly causing us to lose items and progress. The admin control website often crashes and freezes. The web console to control the game doesn't respond to normal commands.
After a few months of using the service but hardly playing, we decided the game wasn't worth it anymore so we wanted to close the game server. It's been 5 days since I sent in my cancellation request - I received an e-mail stating the service would be terminated within 24 hours. Well, it's still active...

been pay 88 usd to host a server , they never activate it,I Asked And they answer me will refund after 5~7 day,never happen,when send a Cancellation request.they did to so quicky but my money is gone forever. Do not use this Service anymore.its a scam

I have used Vilayer multiple times throughout the last 5 years. I have hosted 7D2D, Rust, and a Terraria servers. There were a few hiccups a number of times but these hiccups were always addressed in a timely and satisfactory manner. If you need a simple low cost game server there is no better place to go IMHO.

Tried to rent a 7days server and over 24hours later the server still hadn't gone online. They don't respond to tickets and their "live chat" support dead ends everytime. I'm convinced that actual human beings do not work here, it's all automated processes, and if there's a problem you're SoL.

Scamers stole my money and cant get in to contact again after the just deleted my service out of the blue and still to date im payed up till 21st of this month......You stupid morons! got your full name from the AMP license, hope your that dumb as it will help me bring you down.

and now I get a cancelation after nopt being able to request it and also wow why can i not access my previous tickets they just up and dissapered as I can no longer log into my account that I STILL PAY FOR

I ordered a 7 days A19 server from these guys because they supported the 16K files..... sadly, the server never issues the install complete email. I tried to contact support and got nothing, no emails I never even got a "get lost".... just complete and utter silence. I then filed a grievance with PayPal and all of a sudden it got their attention. The server finally installed some 23 hours later (not my definition of instant set up), and only after I filed a dispute. Then I discovered that the server wasn't on the Vancouver as I requested, but was based in Dallas, TX. WTH do I want with a server situated in Dallas, when I reside in Canada? There goes my ping shooting through the roof. I was happy as it ran my 16K map with ease, only to discover they installed the wrong damn server. These morons installed the 18.4 server when I bought the a19 server. when I tried to update to the A19 build, I discovered that they disabled the ability to update the game files as "steamupdate.bat" is not a recognized command or batch file. After trying repeatedly to access their "24/7 support" again I got no answer just complete and utter silence. These jerks never once responded to ANY support requests. I requested a termination of my service, to which they cancelled it, but didn't issue a refund, and since I had cancelled the previous grievance, I could not reopen it. These guys are complete shysters and offer zero customer support. NEVER buy anything from these guys as they wont give you what you ordered until you file a grievance, and then they give you the wrong product and then still refuse to communicate in ANY form written or verbal.

DO NOT TRUST THIS GUY.

As so many others have said, he takes the money and either doesn't provide the service or provide any refunds.

Why do you think there are so many 1* reviews mixed with 5*?

The 5* reviews are shrills he activiley asks to review before they even have chance to test the service.

Avoid at all costs.

Service is a sham from what I can tell.
Received zero customer service after purchase when I tried contacting them. After canceling with in first month they've continued to charge me also.

Legit best company I've used, won't be going anywhere else, staff always on hand to help. Very informative

the game server provisioning has not complete after 60 hours despite requests from support and client area still produces the message that my billing account 'does not exist' when attempting to press any action. my assigned server control acp.vilayer account does also not exist. This was meant to be to celebrate a birthday on a classic game with friends, plans ruined.
I will be strongly advising other server operators do avoid Vilayer at all costs.

furthermore, upon cancelling the service i get "Canceling your server with us does not deactivate any current Paypal subscriptions. You must log into your Paypal account and cancel any recurring payments or Paypal will continue to send funds monthly." absolute scum, avoid at all costs and go to a competitor

Very poor experience. I regret not checking comments here before purchasing.

I was browsing Vilayer's website and got prompted by a guy called Dylan through the livechat, asking me if I would need any help. I then expressed interest in the hosting service. He assured me that the service would be deployed immediately. However, there was where the nightmare began. After paying, all livechat and tickets were ignored. The service was never delivered. The system just generated a non-existing user id / password. That's all.

Luckily just a small amount of money being scammed. Never provided service.

True scammer. Please stay away.

Today I had the pleasant experience of hiring the service of the company Vilayer, where before I was very well attended where all my doubts were answered. As my server suffers a lot of attack, I asked for help, to understand if their protection would be adequate to what I need, and really met the needs. It is certainly the most affordable hosting and well configured to hire in Brazil.

Very easy to work with. I am not the best with computers but the guys at vilayer made it easy. Prices are decent too.

Without a doubt one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had.

I attempted to purchase a virtual dedicated server through these guys. The server was stuck in pending on initial setup. I waited 24 hours, to see if maybe it was just the system taking its time.. I finally put in a ticket, and waited another 24 hours for at least a confirmation that it was being looked into. Not a single word.

I reached out again, this time asking for a refund, and that got a response.. Though all they did was simply tell me that my refund request would be processed in 7-14 days, and then let the ticket close after a few days.

30 days later, here I am.. Still no refund, and I can't even cancel the service on my own. Their FAQ page has a little tidbit on how to cancel your service, but go figure, its just a dead link. Just to top all this off, they sent me a second invoice.. for a server that is, to this day, still stuck in pending.

Just some irony in all of this.. this review will get my account closed and cancelled faster than their ticket system will.

Don't waste your money here, folks. You'll simply lose it, as well as all the additional time you'll be spending trying to do something about it.

Instantly received a response to my inquiry and was up and operational within minutes!

I spoke with Lee about getting a new server. He was highly informative about what I wanted and how to get the best product for my service. A+ Job.

I had an allocation issue, I spoke to Customer Service, Lee answered and they solved everything in a few minutes. Thanks a lot!!
