Do not book through this Company…

Do not book through this Company Booked- VILLA+BIG POOL & BBQ , CALA D'OR, 4 BIG FAMILIES, DESINFECTED+ had to cancel after 6days as my husband was advised he could not have the surgery he needed to replace his ankle so he could walk. Also issues with his eyes from Diabetes had deteriated, tried explaining to the property owner who has refused to refund our damages waver as we could not attend so how could they hold this. Agree they could keep the deposit for the villa but keep fobbing me off. They have no compassion just want to keep your money !!!

Booking cancelled after full payment

Booked and paid for apartment rental, then with no notice booking cancelled. Reason - owner had sold property. Clickstay agent said sorry, not their problem. Do not use this organisation as booking contract is worth nothing!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY BE WARNED

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY BE WARNED, booked a month stay at a villa in March this year the villa was not as described and was 2103 feet up a dangerous road we were because of this unable to stay and had to find other accommodation this company did nothing they were rude and unhelpful, they basically washed their hands of us but they got their money so why would they I am now following this matter through the courts Absolutely Awful Company DO NOT USE THEM.

WARNING!!!

WARNING!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We booked to stay at a Villa in Coral Bay in April 2022. We arrived to find that the pictures online inside of the villa were not the same as in reality. There was an awful stench when we went upstairs the pillows and mattresses were all stained brown. We got in touch with the agent who sent a cleaner to change the linen? He did not understand that we were not happy with the actual bedding/ mattresses/pillows. Not to mention the tread bare towels and so much more. We asked for a refund as we were not going to stay in 1 star accommodation for the money that we paid. We had to book ourselves into a hotel for the rest of our stay. They even sub rented the villa out to another family 3 days after our arrival. We were asked to return the key to the key safe and then they would issue a refund. 4 weeks later no refund and our calls and emails have been blocked. You have been warned!!!

Our flights were cancelled due to covid…

Our flights were cancelled due to covid so we had to cancel our 8 night stay in Tenerife accommodation. I contacted the guy we have dealt with for the last 6 years as we have stayed in the same property each time and never had a problem. I was told there would be no refund. I could not believe they could be so mean, especially when the cancellation was outwith our control. We will NEVER use this miserable company again.

DO NOT BOOK THROUGH CLICKSTAY!

We had a villa booked for May 2020, due to the pandemic this was understandably cancelled. We requested a change of dates and the villa were unable to accommodate any of the dates we could do, they then said they would give us a part refund which is disgraceful in itself seeing as though we were physically unable to go as they had no dates that we could make.

We requested the refund and now the villa owner has stopped responding to our contact, and clickstay have refused to intervene and support us in getting our refund. We have lost out on £1300 and clickstay do not care.

The pandemic has set apart companies that care about their customers and companies who truly don’t, clickstay are the latter.

Do not spend your money with them - book with anyone else but clickstay!!!

DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM

i have made a booking through clickstay - please do not book with them no deposit given back as we cannot go because of the pandemic - was offered a few alternative dates (midweek, when originally we were going at weekend ) i have said its difficult to arrange 12 people they more or less said thats our problem!! Only since booking with them i have heard so many bad stories about them

Don’t book with Clickstay

Don’t book with Clickstay! We booked a family villa in Portugal in February last year for a June holiday. Our flights were canceled from Melbourne in March. Their was now way we could make it to Europe. Clickstay never considered giving us a refund of our deposit.

No refunds

We booked a Florida Accomidation in Feb 2020 just before the Pandemic. We waited in hope that the travel restrictions in place by the US would be released by August, which is when we was due to travel. By July it was clear they were not going to lift the travel ban and so we contacted Clickstay to ask for a refund they said would only offer a 50% refund and advised to book alternative dates with the owner of the property. The owner offered to do this so we considered rebooking later in the year however the Pandemic in the US turned for the worse and so we asked for our money back and was told no refunds

Stay away from Clickstay you will not get a refund with out a fight.

I am having a similar battle with ClickStay they don't want to give me £325.90 back of what I paid for a holiday I could not take they had the booking for 3 weeks and as far as I can see this had been a completely automated. I have reported them to the C&Ma and everyone should do this. I am also adding the Advertising standards authority and My credit card provider to the action.

Had to cancel holiday in Majorca due to…

Had to cancel holiday in Majorca due to travel restrictions. It took a couple of phone calls and emails but we have today received a full refund of our deposit. Thank you to Clicksay and Lottie. I’m sure we will return in the new normal.

not even a sorry for your lose just money grabbers just watch for the hidden charges such as 5 euros per day per person for electric

Deposit Refund Refusal

Despite wanting to go to our booked villa in Portugal we were prevented from travel under the Governments advice via the Foreign & Commonwealth Office. While the villa owner was happy for the booking to be cancelled Clickstay has repeatedly refused to refund our £1,028.75 deposit.

We are now taking matters further by report to the Competition & Markets Authority who have stated to the travel industry that so called 'non-refundable' deposits should be classified as 'refundable' during these times of national emergency. Not being able to travel is not the fault of the traveller in current pandemic circumstances says HM Govt/C&MA. I would urge anyone who has similar problems gaining deposit refunds from any villa rental company to report the circumstances to the C&MA and copy in “Which” who are currently investigating non-conformist businesses. Legal action is another route which we are now taking linked to the C&MA declarations about non-refundable deposits not being ‘justifiable’ in rental T&C’s.

It really is a pity Clickstay are taking the route they are taking when most other holiday villa/travel/rental businesses in England are abiding by the C&MA principals.

This was our first booking through Clickstay, and we take 5 holidays a year being retired – a good experience with them could have earned several bookings a year from us, all lost for the sake of customer service really. Such a pity – it shows how if Clickstay got themselves together and put the customer at the heart of what they do, they could have a much better and more profitable business.

Update at 02/08/20 - Following sending of first legal paper to regain my deposit, Clickstay refunded me in full within 24 hours!!

Hidden gem

Just arrived back from talcombe cottage in thornthwaite booked through clickstay myself husband and our 2 grandsons and what a lovley cottage this was well equipped with everything you would need so cozy and the location was amazing did not want to come home today and we will definitely book again we loved it

*AVOID* *AVOID* *AVOID* - PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THROUGH CLICKSTAY. We had our stay in Florida cancelled due to the pandemic. After several emails to Clickstay and very few responses Clickstay have now confirmed that we will not be receiving OUR £630 deposit back! The villa was booked back in October 2019 before COVID spread. Clickstay will not entertain moving our booking over to 2021. Total lack of empathy, shoddy customer service and greed. Clickstay have made a difficult time even harder, I hope their Managing Director Tom Hughes is proud of himself!

Unbelievable booking cancelled due to…

Unbelievable booking cancelled due to Quarantine I promised full refund yet Clickstay are refusing, I get nothing the guest gets nothing.

This a public health issue where people are unable to travel, all other sites are helping customers and owners, 15years I have listed my property with this company, I am ashamed my guests have been treated so bad.
