What a joke, absolute scam. This is how they get you:

1. Charge for tickets, yes it seems like a small fee, maybe one or two pounds so you think nothing of it.

2. All of their clothes are not vintage at all, they're all American College Football merch from universities you have never heard of, they're also all dated the last couple of years so hardly "vintage"

3. When you realise there's literally nothing good on the racks, they don't refund your ticket and they get to pocket your cash. (They don't require a ticket for entry fyi)

- I went at the earliest timeslot as well so not like all the good stuff was "taken" lots of people walking about muttering the same sentiment.

Genuinely, just go to normal Charity shops, this is a cowboy operation. AVOID!

Stains, rips, stuff with "october 5-8 2019" or "Alta mini hawks Preschool 2020-2021" written on it and shirts with $2.15 still on the tags. If you want random USA university hoodies and shirts this is the place for you.

If that's not your thing, don't worry! They have Primark, George (Asda) and next cerca 2015

If you want vintage, other than a VERY small selection of Levi's and some XXXL leather jackets with signs of terrible storage and neglect you'd be better off skipping the £3.50 entry and trying local charity shops.

Loads of clothes that seemed to be American and in bigger sizes for men - not much for my teen who was v excited to go. I bought tix for us on the advice of Google and reviews that said ‘came away with bag fulls’, I had to get one old shirt to recoup the charge…. 2 pretty light garments were £11.50 which I hadn’t realised and felt it was pretty steep but perhaps my bad for not realising that we wouldn’t be walking away with a bag full for £20. Charity shops and jumble sales are way better value with much more variety. Wouldn’t go again.

The most awful smelly, tatty clothes ever - their stock MUST be all charity shop rejects. An absolute pisstake for £25

Wow received the £25 mystery box today wish I’d read the reviews. I’ll be lucky to make my money back stains, thread handing off, very well worn and none of it vintage. I’ve washed all 6 items and ironed and even then I can’t make them look any good they are creased to hell! Pair of women’s Levi jeans said 16 on tags there tiny so I can’t even sell them as people will think their fake. Don’t waste your money

Ordered a £100 box and it’s all poor quality. I think they are just getting rid of all their crap that they know they can’t sell. My clothes stank and were so creased with a lot of the logos almost gone. Seriously don’t be fooled by their adverts, you won’t get the stuff they advertise!!
We worked out that if we are lucky enough to sell this crap we won’t get anywhere near our money back. Awful and another scam!!

Not very good quality on £50 profit box.
One pair of tracksuit bottoms had tears in them and a shirt had stains on.
I will be very lucky to recoup my investment because the items resale value is very low

Sold all the clothes in the same day they arrived. Although needed some washing it still made the job. Would defo recommend.

Don’t bother wasting your money!
Paid £50 for a ‘profit’ box where they claim you guarantee to at least double your money, I’ll be lucky to make my money back.
I received dirty chaps shirts and un branded joggers! AVOID!!

I ordered the £50 profit box and wasn’t able to “double my money” they had stains and holes and gum on the clothes even after washing them . I contacted them and they ignored me completely don’t recommend

Ordered a 50 pound box.......1 item was vintage. Poor quality of clothing holes in jumpers. The creases took literally hours to get out! Clothes in there from 2018 2019 2020. You can't call yourself VINTAGE vera when most of your stock isn't vintage :/

Genuinly a horrendous experience!
We had gone to one of their kilo sales and had paid £2.50 for admission however it doesnt matter if you had a ticket or not since the staff dont even check. £2.50 literally wasted right off the bat.
£20 for a kilo is shocking as well there are so many other places to go to where it'll be a fraction of the price.
The clothes resemble the rag i use to wash my dishes and everything had a frankly grizzly smell not to mention the wrinkles on every single thing.
All the tops are basically colleigate ones for strange and unknown univeristies.
Then we unearthed what has to be the worlds most barbaric top: it was straight up explicit and pornographic.
If that wasnt enough to convince you to avoid this place like the plague then the music atmosphere and staff are ridiculous.

They’re definitely over weighing clothes.

One pair of jeans does not weigh a kilo. Funny how when removing one pair the price went down £20.

The guy serving us even said “is that alright?” When telling us the price of the bundle. He knew fine well they’re over weighing.

Bought a £50 "Profit Box" just to check the quality of items before placing bulk orders and I'm glad I did.

I doubt I will even be able to get half my money back as the items were pretty terrible. Most looked like the clothes left at the end of a carboot sale, several had holes or marks that makes them good for nothing but the bin!

Couple of decent pairs of jeans, but not worth a great deal.

Disappointed is an understatement. If it's too good to be true, it usually is. This is the case with Vintage Vera unless I was just very unlucky.

I’ve never had such offensive and poor customer service. First off, it was extremely crowded, couldn’t find anything decent except a plain oversized shirt. Took this to the till, tapped my card, till person said “thank you” like the transaction was done, so I started walking away, and then I was shouted at angrily by the till person”come back here” whilst he stormed towards me, so I came back to the till. I hadn’t realised my card had declined. the service person was very angry and told his colleague “watch those” and gave me a glaring look, alluding to the idea that I was stealing on purpose. I’ve never been so humiliated in a shop. Other people saw this. I just didn’t realise that I had to move money between bank accounts. I said “I’m not one of THOSE, I didn’t know that was going to happen”, he ignored me, started getting the card machine ready for me to try again. But, I was so frustrated and upset with how I’d been treated that I put the shirt back on the till, called them rude and walked

Just went to one of their events and the worst selection I've seen. Definitely regret going

Disappointing. Previously I bought a ticket in advance for one of their sales. Silly me, I don't think I needed to, no one asked for tickets and other visitors were not showing them. My more recent experience was ordering a tshirt from them online. Weeks later no t shirt has arrived, and my chase up email has gone unanswered. Please folks, just don't give these people any money unless you have the item in your hands and you are certain that you really want it.

Clothes are all old American donations from goodwill. If you want someone’s old jumper from their cheerleading squad, you’ll have your fill! Any real vintage stuff is in pretty poor condition, stained, ripped, etc. Not worth £20 per kilo!

I had an amazing experience the person I spoke to on the phone was extremely nice. Would recommend if you start reselling

Clothes are stained and dirty. Multiple people were stealing. Not sure how much of it was actually vintage. A big mess. Eventually got a reply from the owner after over a month of trying to get some kind of response. Was a bunch of rude and unprofessional emails. Shame.
