I am hoping my review may help the company and customers understand more about how a loyal customer feels, I realise the last 10 years I have been set back just eccepting whatever my providers throw at me and yes its been relaxin, my mobile phone after my original contract ended went down from £15 a month to £5 a month, since then little increases year by year it is now £10.14 a month, over doubled never getting any offers that newer customers get just accepting it.

Changes have come that as changed all our lifes cost of living, energy bills, the last two year my bank as gone from zero overdraft to over £200 overdraft and raising. My incoming is less then my outgoing and rwalised I needed to do something express my feelings especially to organisations I have been loyal to over the years asking for nothing, so first thing is budget cut cost everywhere you can, staying to certain shops not going around a lot of different shops, looking at my providers and Virgin mobile offer the same terriff I am paying £10.14 a month for to new customers for £8 a month.

Why isn't my bill £9 amonth? The fact is I am just a old loyal customer another organisation as forgot about and they not doing their best, with BT I was paying £78 a month for a service I could get for £33 a month with another supplier or £39 a month with BT the samr supplier, have they told me about it? No I just got a email offering me a new hub for another £4.99 a month taking my bill over £80 amonth if I had accepted.

The fact is none of these suppliers are doing their best to hold onto customers, so decided to juggle my suppliers around to express my dissapointment at their service, Left BT to go with another phine company and Left Vergin to go with another company with my mobile phones. Yes I probably could of contacted Virgin maybe ther would of given me a better deal, but why should I have to do the work? They want to keep my custom or our custom they should put us automaticaaly on any better deal. I have never got one email or letter saying good news your monthly charge is being reduced to fit in woth other offers they have, they is nothing for loyalty, so yes cancelled to of my monle phones with them to express my dissapointment and not accept better offers once I tell them I am leaving, this isn't business it is greed.

I am tired of getting emails, texts and letters talking about increases when they are able to decrease, in future with any organisation if the price I am paying isn't equal with prices they offer other its bye bye I am off somewhere else and I urge others to do likewise. Mike

Flying from LHR to Orlando - Virgin Atlantic 135

Flying from LHR to Orlando - None of the Electrics worked on my seat. I reported the issue to Virgin via there complaints procedure as instructed by the cabin crew but have had no response.

When I flew back I explained to the check in staff that I had paid for seat with extra legroom on the flight over and asked them to upgrade me to a seat with extra legroom at no costs but because the flight crew had not recorder the issue I was effectively told me they did not believe me.

I will never fly Virgin again !!!

Do not use virgin pure water appalling customer service

Well I’ve tried using virgin pure water I bought the unit three months ago I have been let down for an engineer to install it four times now and still another three weeks before they can fit me in just to fit a cold water pipe they are charging me monthly for it and I can’t even use it it is just a big paperweight on the side.
No it’s Ann just informed that every six months you have to pay £107 for a filter for the kettle that you have to pay for for life

360 box rubbish

I didn't realise how good the Tivo box was until they "Upgraded" me to the 360 box. It's utter rubbish. I had a freeview recorder 20 years ago that was better.

Zero rates if I could. Do not fly with Virgin

Zero rates if I could. DO NOT FLY WITH THIS COMPANY !!!!. Once upon a time a good company. Must be very saddening for Richard Branson watching his brand going down the pan. Or maybe he doesn’t care as long as taking in the cash. I have been flying business class with Virgin with great service. Book economy and appalling. I am now booking all future flights with BA. And Do Not book with Opodo. They tell you one class of ticket… then book a cheaper class and everyone blames each other and you pay the price as a consumer. Never again !!! 😡😡😡

Virgin are not fit for purpose just…

Virgin are not fit for purpose just cancelled everything cos I cant afford it - last time I called for a cheaper deal it went up!! I would recommend anyone to cancel immediately dont get taken in by the 3 people who will offer you a cheaper monthly outlay cos it will still be more if you continue to the end of your contract than the cancellation fee unless you have very short time in your contract. The broadband is terrible tv expensive and customer service appalling thankfully we live Netflix so bye Virgin

A Great Company turned Rubbish

I’ve been with Virgin for well over 15 years since the days of Blue Yonder and Telewest. The state of the broadband for the last few years has been shocking. Speed issues, Wi-Fi issues, hun issues. What makes it even worse is that every time I call with an issue, either nothing is done or something is done that doesn’t fix it. Recently I called with an issue and I was told a new Modem would be sent out. Lo and behold nothing arrived in the post. Unfortunately Virgin have a monopoly over certain areas because they provide speeds above 70MB which other providers can’t do in certain areas. They use this to provide rubbish service and bad customer service knowing people can not switch. I finally cancelled today and will find another ISP.

I can't make this any clearer

I can't make this any clearer, I cancelled my package (TV BROADBAND and LANDLINE) on 4th of June 2022. All my services was cancelled from midnight 4th June 2022.I then asked for BROADBAND only, I was happy to accept the quote of £27 a month for 100MB. Yet I have received a bill for £106, I want to know why the bill is so high. I have being waiting all day on Whatsapp and as I write this I am still waiting. Customer service of the lowest level.

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! AT ALL COSTS!

I recently signed up to Virgin 3 days ago for my parents. Only to realise that some of the international channels they regularly watch were not covered by Virgin. I called to cancel the TV portion of the subscription and was told that my price for broadband and phone would increase to £54 - M100 Fibre when they are charging new customer £34.

When I called I was hung up on three times, going through security check after check. At one point they put me on hold and transferred me to sales when they knew I wanted to cancel. On some occasions I was speaking to team members clearly outside of the UK who had no clue what to do and on the fifth call I spoke to someone on UK.

Once cancelled I was told it would take 30days, so what does even 14 day cooling off period even for. Also I was told I would still be billed the first months charge. Thieves is all I can say!

WOW virgin this is an all new low for me in customer service. It's absolutely disgusting and a total rip off. I'll be reporting this to Ofcom as well.

Well done for not telling me in any…

Well done for not telling me in any form of communication that the front of my house was being destroyed and ruining all of my Teams meetings. The noise outside is unacceptable, especially when you weren’t expecting it! I suggest you inform residents that you are going to rip the street up and most of the neighbourhood apart. Bang out of order and massively disrespectful!!!

Awful, truly AWFUL Customer Service!
We lost Virgin Media landline and internet for 2 days in November 2021. When I called Virgin Media after the service came back I was told there would be automatic credit for the outage.
3 months on and telephone calls each month, still be told the same thing. Untimely, but ok.
Yesterday I telephoned Virgin Media. The whole call took 1 hour and 20 minutes, only to be told at the end that there would be no automatic compensation, no compensation for the lies that had been previously told to me, and no compensation for the several hours of wasted telephone calls and the stress that yesterday's extremely long telephone call caused.
Ringing Virgin Media, one gets through to really nice places, such as India. Great if you want to holiday there, but really not so good for a UK call centre.
I am so very disappointed with Virgin Media that I am now considered leaving after being with them forever!
If you want really good customer service .... go elsewhere!

Hopeless- 4 hour conversation no exaggeration

Hopeless- I am speaking to the agent from 830 am till 1230 just to paint a picture no exaggeration.
I am new customer who has not even got the services yet,
I have been transferred 4 times as they have not got the order correct or delivered and the cost
the speed also is not guaranteed also they have NO CUSTOMER EMAIL ADDRESS FOR EMAILS so be warned
take my advise pay a bit more and go elsewhere

Sick of this provider and the crap equipment

Sick of this provider and the crap equipment they give. This costs me nearly 80 per month for pretty much a basic tv package broadband and phone line and the whole thing is awful. Been with them for years. They never upgrade equipmennt without expecting you to enter into new 18 month contract. Time up for Virgin = getting rid

The most appalling provider

The most appalling service and customer care EVER. You cannot understand the operatives, they cannot understand you. You wait for hours - time you will never get back. No wonder they are recognised as the worst provider. Get your act together Virgin... you rake enough in. My experience today was exasperating to say the least. I could not make the operative understand what the issue was. She became 'irritated' can you believe. Loan on phone finished this month, so I cancelled standing order - obviously - she didn't know what a standing order was! Over and out.

Appalling, abysmal Virgin

Well after because my estate has Virgin Broadband wiring I joined to take advantage of the advertised faster speeds but the service has been abysmal. By that I mean the broadband has never worked it drops out everyday, more than once, the landline is difficult to hear and the mobile reception is nonexistent. I have not been able to text or make a mobile phone call for 9 months. Folks don’t join Virgin they are abysmal, I know you think your experience will be different believe me it won’t. I now intend to contact the appropriate Ombudsman and the responsible Parliamentary Committee something has to be done about Virgin.

Well what a surprise

Well what a surprise . Even after my last review and over an hour supposedly sorting out my moving home issue and virgin increasing my package by OVER 50% PER MONTH by closing my original account without my knowledge and creating a NEW one WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE one month later and here we go AGAIN ! ! An email saying PRE COLLECTION NOTIFICATION apparently I didn't pay the full amount last month ( the additional £45 ) and the outstanding amount of another £145 my services are about to be cut off ! ! Even though they had helped me set up the direct debit for the ORIGINAL PACKAGE PRICE OF £100 PER MONTH and ASSURED me that this WOULDN'T HAPPEN AGAIN and everything was back to as it was before ! ! ! MORE VIRGIN BULL#$!@ and LIES ! ! ! NOTHINGS BEEN SORTED OBVIOUSLY ! ! ! If VIRGIN want to reply to this then PLEASE do me the decency and not just give the standard VIRGIN web address TRY ACTUALLY GIVING ME SOMEONE TO CONTACT IN PERSON , and just to let you know that I have already raised a complaint before on line and all I got was an email back saying that you'd closed the complaint and a better explanation of your charges would be given . . . .
