The internet has never been the greatest but it’s been manageable up until last week or the week before. The last 7-10 days it has been awful had not even a full hours worth or working WiFi throughout the day! When I’m checking the status online it’s showing no problems but clearly that’s not the case! They emailed us to book in an engineer and near enough every slot was booked so I’m obviously not the only one having issues. There was 1 slot available for in around 9 days time but looks like we’re gonna have to go without internet until then! In other words DO NOT GO WITH VIRGIN MEDIA!

Virgin Media is hands down the worst broadband provider I’ve ever had. Constant issues, shocking customer service, and what feels like endless scamming. The company is apparently full of staff who don’t seem to give a single fk about British customers. Complete jokers. Avoid at all costs!
Full of Fraudes!

1st) The experience of having an amiable, courteous, proficient and most helpful Technicien who arrived, in time, to install Broadband and phone line. His Tech ID is Hanaif 10172 / Area 21.
2nd) I had an issue regarding my previous Supplier. Again, this was dealt rapidly and efficiently with the definite aim of resolving the problem.
All in all, a very happy and promising experience. Thank you Virgin Media!
Absolutely appalling service from Virgin Media. We have now been without internet for more than three days while working from home, and despite contacting customer service numerous times, the earliest repair appointment they offered was almost two weeks away. In this day and age, leaving customers without connectivity for that long is simply unacceptable, especially when many people rely on internet access to do their jobs!!!!
What made the experience even worse was the completely disorganised communication. We received a text message offering an earlier appointment slot, replied within seconds to accept it, and were then told it was “no longer available.” It feels chaotic, poorly managed, and incredibly frustrating for customers who are already dealing with a major disruption.
The customer service experience has been deeply disappointing throughout: long waits, inconsistent information, little empathy, and no real sense of urgency despite the severity of the issue. At no point did we feel like anyone genuinely cared that we had effectively lost the ability to work from home!!!!
For a premium broadband provider, this level of service is unacceptable. Reliability is one thing, but how a company responds when something goes wrong is what really matters and in this case, Virgin Media has failed badly. I would strongly caution anyone considering using them, especially if you depend on stable internet for work.

Had issues with my broadband keep dropping and on the app tried several times to reset etc but to no avail .
Finally today I decided to try and get in touch with the company and after reading horror stories and reviews expected a rough time or let’s say didn’t get my hopes up .
Well I managed to get in the WhatsApp and usual thing there is a wait and I did expect it not to go anywhere however I was contacted by a representative of the company and after security questions She talked me through several things and in conclusion arranged for a technician to be here tomorrow ( can’t complain ) in the meantime she resolved quite a few issues and the issue with the BB is stable for the time being .
I just want to give Virgin a lot of credit for all they have done today and thank them and today’s agent for a first rate service .
When things go wrong this for me is a way of judging just how good a company are and Virgin excelled .
Many thanks
They do have high speed download. However; if you are into gaming you must use a gaming router. Thier router is not the best. If you need broadband just got gaming, look for a provider with low latency. There are few providers in the market offering less than 6ms latency. VM latency average is 20ms.
