My complaint has now been open 4 weeks and we're further away from resolving than when I started. A detailed summary:
1 June – I agreed to upgrade my package to £55 per month, which included Netflix and a streaming box.
5 June – I received a delivery containing only the streaming box cables and remote control. The streaming box itself was missing.
7 June – I opened a formal complaint with Virgin Media explaining that the streaming box had not been delivered.
10 June – I received a response stating that my streaming box had arrived. This was factually incorrect and demonstrated that my complaint had not been read. I replied requesting that someone actually read my complaint before responding.
12 June – I received an unexpected telephone call while I was driving. As I was unable to discuss the matter safely, I again asked that someone read my written complaint and requested advance notice before any future calls.
12 June – I also emailed to ask whether anyone had actually read my complaint. I received no response.
18 June – I received another unexpected phone call. Once again, the adviser insisted that I had received the streaming box, confirming that my complaint still had not been properly reviewed. After approximately 20 minutes, I was told I would receive a further call on Saturday.
20 June – I received the promised call, only to be told yet again that I had received the box. After explaining for a third time that I had not, I was placed on hold for several minutes before being told someone would call me back on Monday.
21 June – No call was received.
22 June – No call was received. Instead, I received an email informing me that my monthly bill had been increased from £55 to £75, despite me never agreeing to any such change.
23 June – No contact.
24 June – No contact.
29 June – Still no contact

Install with 3 workers . Everything checked before they left . All night we enjoyed watching youtube TV. Then the next day it stopped working for 3 hours . Thought ok it's a hiccup.
The next day up at 7am watching YouTube then at 9am the Internet then went down again .
Its impossible to actually speak to a human via a phone call . Everything is done by AI I think.
So today I have no Internet and have to wait until tomorrow for an engineer to call.
So now I have fibre cable running around my house when I should have stayed with the phone line .

Can never get through to a human being, end up to a to bot, which sleeps regularly. Such a waste of time can't wait to get rid of Virgin, Mr Richard Branson,you can do better, but you have your money now for the next two years , but never again. I would give you zero but maybe next time????.?..

Please never use this company, you will regret. I am even suffering after 4 years of getting rid of these B;;tard;. They are still effecting my credit score inspite of stealing money from my account. They are not registered with Ombudsman Services. You get screwed up with your fault. This is Robbery and the is no place to complain. Their customer services is even worse. Good Luck if you are already with this company.

Probably the worst quality of service with the worst broadband and the nonchalant technical division who have zero concern for customers, followed by so called 'customer service' reps who couldn't give a damn just taking their time doing nothing

I have been with virgin media this time for over a year but before I moved house I was with them a long time review is about how big a con they are I interduce a friend and myself for doing that gets a £50 reward and so does my friend but after waiting months for my reward I rang them to be told there is no record of it ,so they basically just say that so u interduce friends to them well don’t do it because u will never see your bonus .Disgrace of a company when my contract is up I be leaving them

The service is abysmal and customer service agents don’t care about customer needs and will cut the call on you. Please please the contracts looks tempting but trust me they are not!!! Every customer is warned they will change contracts details and you will be overcharged.

Always a call centre outwith the UK crap Internet provider poor customer and management service nothing is ever there fault closes complaints down with even resolve them then have them saying me no understand English just gets told if you dont like it then leave well no worries Abdul I am going to sky 😉

Is there a zero star option for Virgin.
Terrible service, customer account manager persuaded to move my personal account to the business account where I have all my properties.
Left an amount on the personal account which wasn’t chased or reminder sent and now have a default! And they won’t remove it.

This company should be banned from doing business with public. Trading standards should really look into this company, the way they do business and offer packages. Its an absolute SCAM and should be on rouge traders on BBC One. They are absolutely conning people every time they offer a new contract but its never what they promised on the phone. I WISH I DIDN'T HAVE TO GIVE ANY STAR AT ALL!!!
