Construction company with poor overall standards
Construction company that closed a local airfield and lost valuable jobs before they had even secured planning permission for a future project. Poor communication and unscrupulous management.

Bought a new build property from them which was supposed to be a show home. Barely 13 months in and considering they had a 2 months warranty period, ensuite bathroom started to leak down to the room on first floor. Reported this within the warranty period and they sent an operative to fix who claimed It was due to a pipe leaking beneath the bathroom which he claimed to fix. And few weeks later, leakage continued and was found to be poor grouting in the bathroom tiles. I went further to report this and them kept delaying the fix until home was out of warranty. I went further to the NHBC and they finally accepted to fix it only to step into the property and sand filled the damage walls then disappeared and keep making excuses for 3 months now that the operative never sent in a repair report and ever since have refused to complete the repair. I will definitely be pursuing this through NHBC until the property is restored.
Thank you for your money, now go away.
I think that is the motto. They attempted some snags, the site foremen did not know some basics and honestly, basics like paint on multiple walls was not the same colour, pipes not straight from the sink etc.
2019 to now.
Awful company to work for, Vistry Partnerships Yorkshire are bullies, liars and treat people very unfairly. The homes produced are cheap and shoddy, the quality is substandard and customers are harassed and blackmailed to fill in the NHBC surveys, the construction team haven’t got a clue how to build homes for individual customers as they are a contracting company used to building full sites for housing associations.
Steer clear of Linden Homes/Vistry Partnerships Yorkshire, you’ll be sorry if you spend your money on these developments, you’ll have months if not years of problems!!
16 months in and I am STILL fighting to get my kitchen sink unit fixed and the feet of the cabinets removed - Small Claims Court next - My drive way next to my neighbours can be used to park but you need a tin opener to get out of the roof as you cannot open car doors
I have just bought a new build from vistry partnerships. The customer service right from the start has been second to none. They have been so thoughtful with a welcome hamper and flowers waiting on the day I moved in, to regular calls and visits to make sure I am settling in. The site team are friendly and respectful too!
Bad build and poor defects team that don’t respond despite the worst issues
Dishonest, negligent liars - Linden, Vistry Partnerships all the same cowboys! The sales team do not care once you complete the purchase. House is full of defects that were there on day one and months later still outstanding. Customer care is non existent. Once you hand in your money do not expect any support, quality or decency other than bullying, pressure or requests to fill in positive reviews so staff don't loose their bonuses.
