easy to use and amazing templates

Easy to create CV and cover letter, plenty of useful format and great customer service

I've been using VisualCV since 2017, and it's been a greate experience. Their ready to use templates follow best practices and making it easy to create a professional CV. I feel confident sending mine, knowing it's crafted by experts with a keen eye for detail.

To be fair to them, they were good before they locked users out of their resumes (unless one pays a ransom). And they did send a warning that your downloads will have their watermark, offering a 50% discount.

Anyways, companies sometimes do that and we're all at the mercy of someone's decision.

In this case, I went to Canva and recreated the same resume template, with the exact same colors, layout, the shades, everything to the T. For free. So VisualCV is no more.

It doesn't mean that Canva cannot decide one day to do the same though. Hopefully, there will be more alternatives to switch. Thank Goodness for free economy and competition!

This product has been completely enshittified. It is functionally worthless unless you upgrade to pro. Hope this help.

Wasted one hour to make a cv only to know that cannot be downloaded without a watermark

Just signed up for Pro an hour ago, they charged my card immediately, sent me a receipt which clearly states I have the Pro plan -- and literally the ONLY sample template I need doesn't work (the "Use This Sample" link doesn't work)! So tired of shoddy half-assed services like this. If they don't get it fixed within the next hour I have no use for them and will cancel.

Their support team is awesome. Solved my issue swiftly.
