I had a great experience with the Viva.com team, especially our UK account manager, Zaid. He was very professional, responsive, and supportive throughout the process. Zaid handled everything efficiently and made communication easy and clear. His dedication and quick responses really stood out. I highly recommend Viva.com and Zaid for excellent service.

Scam company 100%

Do not use.
Customer service created a free user account for me and said they would contact me when only services that are billed with a commission per use are available.
I did not receive any contact, but I noticed that the service is available and I tried to pay with my card to see the commission percentage, when I could not find any information about it.
The money did not appear in my account so I went to check what account number is on my account and it is a completely different country and completely unknown to me, my account balance is also 70€ negative, because at some point "all accounts have been changed to paid and you agree to it if you keep the account active" so even though I have never used the service but have only asked about the service, I have agreed that in the future my contract can be freely changed in any way and I can be charged anything. Clear. Fortunately, they didn't get scammed more than a small test fee, which went directly to paying for these "unpaid monthly fees." Originally for maintaining a FREE ACCOUNT. The commissions are also very expensive 1.69% + that monthly fee.
Check out worldline, there you get 0.60%-1.25% + 10€/month rental payment terminal.
Or alternatively 0.99% tap to pay on iPhone. No monthly fee, etc. And it certainly won't suddenly be like the scam website viva com without consent.
Viva com changes your free account plan and start charging your account mothly fees without informing you and they say that with keeping your free account active ( even when you quit using it already ) you agree to pay mothly fee of 5€-10€ that you will be informed after few years of charging you.
And at that point only way out to delete your account will be to pay remaining negative balance of charges you didn’t know and didn’t agree (”agreed by keeping free account active intead of informing customer service that you would like your free account deleted”)

You either
1. Pay remaining negative balance and get rid of monthly subscription.
2. Don’t pay and let it keep adding more and more negative balance that they will try to rob from you in the future.

Just pick a normal bank

Just pick a normal bank.
I am trying to close the account for more than a month. I am trying to pay the remaining amount , from the fees, aprox. 300 eur and they move so slow. They have the agents with whom you can talk, but you talk in van as they can't help you with actions.
Pick a normal bank as this is difficult to work with. At the beginning everything works well, but at the end you can't even close your account, you can't pay the fees back. They move very slow. Very problematic.

Viva

Viva, like so many service providers these days, make changes to fee structures and cash back benefits but do not explicitly inform users of these. Instead, they simply refer to terms and Conditions.

We were caught out recently when they introduced a monthly fee and stopped providing cash back refunds on fees charged. This change has proced unacceptably expensive.

There are cheaper alternatives out there. We have had a Zettle account for some years and there are zero monthly fees with low transaction charges. Viva's approach has cost them our business: we have moved to Zettle and closed the Viva account.

Their customer contact department (I hesitate to use the term 'service' team) were uncompromising. Their loss, our gain going forward. Real pity that corporate greed has to fuel decision making.

Do not use them

Do not use them, they just steal your money. You get an account, you can collect payments but they do NOT let you transfer the money out of your account.

Dozens of requests and zero response.

We have the ticket numbers and prove (emails, etc ...). We just keep the account so we can use it as prove and start a social media campaign to warn people.

After that we start legal actions.
