The shittiest internet provider ever, with even worse internet...you pay full price every month, but you get the slowliest internet ever to exist , and only outside in the open, at home in a house i cant even open youtube, let along something else....zero starts its too much for Vodafone
Catastrophe
All was wrong, nothing can help this company. Internet for house is just straight up a way to waste your money and stay without internet itself. Gladly don't and won't use is for mobile network, but some friends have it and it's bad there too. Don't ever consider to choose this company for anything. There are always better options. Date of expirience is 3 years and 8 months
After 3 years of average service…
After 3 years of average service (internet outages, service instability, unavailability of support), I terminated my contract using a physical form at the local Vodafone branch in Landstuhl. When checking my German bank account 3 months later before closing it, I discovered that Vodafone continued to withdraw payments even though, according to the instructions of the employee at the branch, I had returned the modem and was clearly unable to use the service. I have an email confirmation of the modem return.
While resolving the issue with customer support, I managed to get Vodafone to finally terminate the contract, and I was told that they could issue a refund only if I provided an email confirming the termination of the service—an email I could not have received because I cancelled the service through the branch employee. After submitting all related communication, including the scan of the cancellation form, customer service stopped responding, and instead I received two more invoices for a service I have not been using for 7 months.
I will hand the case over to a legal representative. I strongly do not recommend the services of Vodafone GmbH.
VODAFONE DONT HONOUR CANCELLATION AFTER 24 MONTHS
I gave notice 2 months before my 24 month contract was finished, to cancel my contract at the end of the 24 months. I have a confirmation from Vodafone that the cancellation via the App was received, and yet Vodafone still deny that I cancelled the contract so I am stuck with them. DO NOT USE VODAFONE. You will be stuck with their VERY EXPENSIVE contracts FOREVER.

I called Vodafone to adjust my existing phone contract to better match my internet usage. A simple optimisation request.
Instead, I ended up with three additional SIM cards — for a phone and a tablet I never asked for. One of those SIM cards was never even delivered, yet I'm being charged for it.
When I attempted to cancel, I submitted my cancellation request in 2025 and have received no response whatsoever — no confirmation, no acknowledgment, nothing.
Trying to cancel anything through their website is an exercise in frustration. The site appears deliberately designed to discourage cancellations — every path redirects to upsells or upgrade offers, while the actual cancellation options are buried or nearly impossible to find.
To summarise:
- Products added to my account without my consent
- Charged for a SIM card that was never received
- Cancellation request from 2025 still unanswered
- Website designed to obstruct rather than assist
I will not be returning to Vodafone Germany. If you're considering signing up, be very careful about what ends up on your account - and even more careful about trying to leave.

Issues :Disconnects , when i got first 7 days as a new customer in vodafone, i had 30 disconnects per day.
On the phone customer service speaks only German btw, and also they claim "we dont see anything as disconnect issues "

No adjustments
I moved a few Months ago and had to cancle and then resubscribe... I chose the exact same Contract suddenly I am being told they cant adjust the Date the Bill is being booked of to the beginning of the month. Aparently in the 6 month between my moves they evolved backwards because before it was possible.

Exceptionally good problem-solving!
Had internet issues last Sunday (01.02.2026) reported to Vodafone via their problem-reporting tool, had a free 512GB e-sim just 20 minutes after that to cover my internet needs for the day. There was already an offer for a technical support member the next morning, who then came by 2 hours later and fixed the issue. The whole problem solving process took a little over 27 hours from start to finish (on a non business day!).
Additionally, they have incorporated the „We will notify you“ principle in every step along the way which I found to be exceptionally pleasing, as you usually have to ring a dozen hotlines just to talk to someone and get a date for tech support. Hands down best customer support in telecommunications I have ever received.
Way better than expected — deserves to be #1
I got the Vodafone CallYa prepaid eSIM recently and I’m really impressed. Setup was easy — no hassle at all. The Internet speed is fast, the connection stable, and even indoors (shops, bars, etc.) it works great.
What surprised me most was how well it performed on trains. I traveled long-distance with regional trains and didn’t lose connection once — that never happened with any other provider!
I’ve tried Telekom and some cheaper ones offering more data for less money, but they all had throttling, weak signal, and unreliable coverage. Vodafone costs about the same as Telekom, a bit higher than others, but that’s the price for true reliability and a connection you can count on everywhere.
Best prepaid experience I’ve had in Germany — highly recommended if you value stability and strong coverage.
Vodafone cable contract a scam
Vodafone cable contract has been possibly the worse customer experience I have ever had in my life. Unfortunatelly the builduing I moved to only had Vodafone connection and I had no choice for the internet (which was also essential to have for my work). The whole experience was nothing but hell with frequent cut offs, no support during installation, eventually Vodafone canceling my contract without my knowledge but taking my money further (acumulation debt despite me trying to contact them several times) while I had absulutely no way to contact them in English. After I left Germany, I made several attempts to reach out but no answer, just accumulation of debt. Now they owe me money and they claim I have to contact them to give them my bank details which surely they must have in their database. You cannot reach anyone in English ever. What an absolute scam.
Rip off the Elderly
Our 89yr old father was talked into 2 contracts which he never needed. Cancellation of these was denied. After his death there were no condolences but "Would we continue the contracts?" The cancellation of these contracts proofed to be a nightmare and we finally had to tell the bank to stop payments! If possible, I would rate them with -5 stars. Very very upset!

I have no internet at home for a week. A WEEK! And there's still no information on what happened, no information why it's taking so long and no mobile internet provided as an alternative. This company is a joke.

Absolutely horrible customer service
Its almost impossible to reach their customer service. They make it so hard. Upon reaching they just forward it to different department 4-5 times and nobody knows who can help or what to do.
I had a situation where I had reported internet issues. Upon such a hassle to reach customer support, they finally sent me a eSIM option with 500GB data. But the installation itself was not possible. After reaching out to them, none of them understood the situation. They kept forwarding to 7 different departments and nobody could help me. I finally quit. Very nice customer service. And that Tobi shit. It's just waste of time. I spend 2 and half hours behind this stupid company and their so called customer service.

IN SHORT, THEY HAVE A PITY-LIKE ORGANIZATION. FINALLY IF YOU CONTRACT FOR FIBER WHERE BROWSING SHOULD BE FAST INSTEAD IT IS THE SLOWEST OF ALL, IN FACT I FIND A DOWNLOAD OF 70-80 MB AND UPLOAD HIGHER THAN THE FIRST. IT'S A SHAME I'VE BEEN COMPLAINING SINCE I CAME OVER TO FIBER. I'M THINKING OF CHANGING OPERATOR. VODAFONE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THIS BECAUSE THERE ARE OBTUOUS PEOPLE IN COMMAND. THEY ARE ONLY CAPABLE OF TAKING MONEY. I'D SEND THEM TO DIG THE LAND.
The worst company in the world
The worst company in the world, honestly, they should not exist. On the line they sell you anything before helping you, the incentive is totally upside down. I ended up having 3 different products under 3 different costumer numbers and no access to control my costs or anything and thats just part of the story. They are the biggest dinosaur and are just living out of the fact that telecommunication is basically monopoly of couple companies who bounce from one company to another...
Answer and say no we will not give you the contract for 24 months.
