Their systems are obviously not set up with all the other major airlines. If your flight is with them, you need to check in at the airport. By then, if you need to make any changes to your flights after, you are completely screwed.
I lost my luggage and no one's helping
I lost my luggage TODAY as I arrived Paraguay through GOL Linhas Aéreas. I was expecting a good vacation, but now, no one's even responding and updating me about my missing luggage or how I could track it. I was told I needed to contact the airport itself but isn't it their job to coordinate this?

One of the worst airline I’ve ever flew. My customer experience was awful. I flew from Uruguay to Brazil with my girlfriend with 2 carry ons, and instead we hired 1 23kg luggage , 1 carry on and 2 bags, they made us paid for an extra bag with a cost of 80usd.
GOL staff stole my handbag
Flew with GOL airline to RIOGALEÃO, staff from the airline stole my handbag with valuables (we traced it with a tracker to areas unreachable by passengers).
Customer service is non existence, an initial reply that the bag was not found in the plane (we knew that already) but once asking more about the staff assigned to the flight/plane they stopped responding.
Worst flight in my life
Worst flight in my life. I had a Premium Economy ticket for 600 USD for a one way from Buenos Aires to Natal, Brasil. Intenrational night flight, 5 hours flight time. There was no dinner service, all they served was a gross empanada. Not a real meal. And they had no wine and no beer -they only offered water, Coke, Team and Coffe and I think one juice - in PREMIUM CLASS. I will happily do a stopver in Sao Paulo next time and fly LATAM. This was really one of the worst experiences I had. the service is below zero, the catering a joke for "business class".

Worst airline I’ve I ever flew, with. It too one hr and fifteen minutes just to get to the front desk only have 2 person working the general seating and had 2 working on elite side. I go to security to find out that they don’t use tsa- pre check there website don’t work and the app don’t either. No tv on flight first and last time I travel with this airline never again!
They took away my exit row seat
They took away my exit row seat because I'm over 60. They told me to put in a request for a refund and seated me in one of their cramped economy seats. Very tight fit for someone 6' tall who expected a comfortable flight. The flight crew did nothing to assist me. Economy airline at its worst.

Gol linhas offer poor quality service . I paid £460 for substandard service for a return flight from Rio to Foz du Iguazu. In the way there even though I'd checked in online it it took 75 minutes to drop my bags. Then flight crew completely missed me in the food and drinks service only 30 minutes into the two hour flight and didn't make any attempt to offer anymore drinks to people who missed it due to be ring asleep/at the toilet
The airport at Foz was much better and bags were delivered instantly with it being a small airport. Staff including at the check in desk were very good . Now it's been over an hour since disembarking at Rio and I've waited over 65 minutes for my check in luggage at the carousel. Absolute joke and seriously overpriced for a journey that is direct . I want a 50% refund for the inconvenience

Extremely poor handling of a missed connection caused by incorrect gate information.
We were at São Paulo airport for hours, followed the official gate information shown in the GOL app and on airport displays, only to arrive at the gate and find it already closed.
As a result, we missed our connecting flight through no fault of our own and were rebooked later. The whole day was spent at the airport, exhausted, stressed, and forced to pay high prices for food while waiting.
This was not a weather issue or passenger error, but a clear operational and communication failure. Very disappointing experience and poor passenger care.

Poor performing website. The website was clearly developed by someone or an organization with inferior development skills. Like most airline websites, there is normally an option to change the date of a flight. This does not exist on GOL's website. There are pages dedicated to the rules of changing or cancelling a flight but no actual interface or a way to change it. Only an interface to cancel a flight. Change flight functionality is pretty basic when it comes to an Airline's websites.
Cant Check in or add Baggage on the app or site, no customer service response for days!
I bought my ticket via Booking.com because the GOL site was not working, since I´ve had the ticket I have not been able to add baggage or check-in via the site both Chrome and Safari, nor the App -- I have written and waited for customer service via the chat many times in the past few days and have had zero response -- i am afraid that I will now get charged a lot of money to add the bag and check-in at the airport tomorrow, it is such a scam to operate this way...!! Lets see what happens when i go tomorrow!

The flight was scheduled at 11:40am and was continually delayed, then when we got on the plane, we were told the plane wasn’t safe to travel on, so I had to wait further for an additional plane back to São Paulo. We finally arrived in São Paulo at 9:30pm after rushing through I made the flight as boarding had commenced to get my flight back to London which was scheduled for 11:40pm
Now I’m trying to get in contact with customer services, nothing works, the phone line for other countries just hangs up, the AI chat bot isn’t helpful and it says it will continue to a human but nothing happens. I’m owed compensation for a whole day wasted.

Impossible to login through the mobile app or a desktop version. Check in at the airport excessively long, over one hour waiting for a premium / priority check in. Defo not recommended to anyone!!!

Scam and very bad team
Before going to the airport I bought online a 2cd luggage for my sport bag. I always did like this and used to work 100% of the time. At Buenos aires airport , first of all the process for the checking suck a lot, not organised and the team is not welcoming neither efficient. They told me the extra luggage I pay don’t work for my sport bag, i have to go pay a 100€ more for a specific luggage type (policy has changed ect…) but to claim the luggage online and they will reimburse me the one I bought online. Guess what ! I did claim a refund and I didn’t get, because I should have cancel le luggage before the checking. You just want to insult those people. They screw me 100€ !!!

Garbage! As a tourist you can't buy a plane ticket. Customer service is useless as well, they don't help you with anything, just send you to their international version where the same ticket costs 5-6 times more.
