Customer service is the worst

Customer service is the worst. I've called, emailed, even messaged on social media and still have yet to get a response. It's been 2 days of calling and messaging for hours. I paid for a movie and can't watch it along with half the movies on vudu due to network issues. All my other streaming apps work just fine. Watching Hulu right now even. Some movies work on vudu, but not many. I used this service for a couple years now. It sucks now.

Repeated emails to convert from Fandango

I received repeated emails to convert my Fandango account to Vudu, who acquired Fandango. The process took me to a never ending loop. I was asked to sign in with my Fandango account. I did so, then was directed to enter my Vudu password. I did not have a Vudu password. So I tried to open a new account. "You already have a Fandango account, sign in with Fandango". Again I did so. Then I was prompted to enter my Vudu password.
This loop happened 6 times over the next few weeks.
Then there was a movie I wanted to stream. After chasing my tail through the same never ending loop I changed to an old email and tried to enter a new Vudu account in order to have a credit card on file. The process started out smoothly, no endless loop. I entered my debit card number and thats when trouble really began. I never got to see the movie. I kept getting "No credit card on file" messages. Frustrated, I removed the Vudu app and found something else to stream.
Two weeks later my debit card account was charged $39.95 by a company in Ky called urcons.co. I have had no dealings with them on the up and up. My credit union (debit card) fraud department advised me to contact Vudu and cancel. There is no provision for this since they indicate they have no card on file.
DON'T give VUDU your CREDIT CARD info!

I bought from Fandango Now a Family Guy…

I bought from Fandango Now a Family Guy episode Blue Harvest.
After Vudu took over I only have Family Guy episode Movin Out.
So far they are claiming because it was purchased more than 6 months ago they can't refund me.
I never asked for a refund.
I asked for the correct episode to be returned to me.

Sucks

Sucks. Pay for something to watch. Then nothing. Sat on hold for almost 2 hours to find out that it might be 48 hours before you can't watch it. Guy barley spoke English. Will not ever try vudu again. Total watch of time.....

Unbelievable! Terrible degradation of service all because Fandango is terrible.

Unbelievable! I've had Vudu for years and now movies and tv shows I've owned since before Fandango ruined Vudu won't even play. And forget about getting support! I opened a case 4 months ago and got no assistance at all. I got several responses that they were "looking into it" but nothing was ever actually being done. I've spent more than $2,000 dollars on Vudu movies and TV shows and I consider it a complete loss because of Fandango screwing its customers.

Functionality is very outdated

Functionality is very outdated. The app is complicated to navigate. The movies are not playing. Called customer service it took 35 mins for someone to answer the phone. I’ve been on the phone with him for 25 min now and he still has not resolved the issue. There is no way to delete your credit card or PayPal account from the app, you have to call in to remove it. Horrible experience never again, Vudu is a hassle to use.

If I could leave zero stars

If I could leave zero stars, I would. My daughter received two free movie codes from her Chick-fil-A meals. We followed all of the steps, but the system kept saying they were not valid codes. I emailed Vudu on 9-17-21 hoping for a solution for my daughter. On 10-29-21, I recieved a reply back that they are sorry for the delay, but now the codes are expired, as of 10-01-21, so there is nothing they can do. They were not expired when we encountered the problem, but now, over a month later, they are and VUDU will not honor the movie rentals.

Not happy with Vudu

I was happy with Fandango but Vudu is awful. Our movie kept stopping several times and then resume where it stopped. There are several bad reviews. We deleted the Vudu app. 😠

Real bad customer Service

Real bad customer Service. With all the system errors it’s hard to Stream anything even with a network connection of over 400 Mbps and a new 3810 X Ruku. You have to use movies anywhere app to Watch movies, but this does no good with TV series purchased from VUDU.

Update 9 Mar2022; VUDU part of fandango now, and service is no better. TV series the Unit still will not play and I paid $$ for the TV series purchase. Movies will stream fine though.

O stars for me so disappointed in this I have gift cards that don’t work and and bought a movie that I never received. I called 5 time on the phone for over an hour each time and get transferred from one person to another this is Unacceptable customer service
I’m out like 60$ with the gift cards and the movie

It always freezes

So I have to say this is more a review…

So I have to say this is more a review of common sense media then VUDU it’s self. I find that CSM is very tainted to one world view and very prejudice against religion. Violence and sex is rated on a less scale than any religion based movies. Basically if it is a religious movie they review it as deceiving and heavy handed, but violence is reviewed as mild even if there is blood all over the screen. I find them to be a very offensive and bigoted company and am canceling my VUDU account because of them.

BE WARE !!!

BE WARE !!!! Horrible now that they are Vudu. I have 2 Fandango gift cards and neither one worked now that they switched to Vudu. I will never use this company again and will not buy another gift card. I will gladly pay more to rent from a different streaming service
