I have purchased numerous products over…

I have purchased numerous products over a number of years from this company. Luckily never had any issues. However. I am a bit at a loss as to what is going on with this company currently. Last communication with them they were relocating to West End Village in Southampton next to Asda. ?! Been a considerable number of months and don't see anything happening. No contact information either. So who knows ?

In defence of WAD

In defence of WAD and with great respect to customer losses (including myself), WAD have been an excellent company. That they have been struggling is a familiar tragedy to all of us in recent years.

I absolutely agree, no communication is not good by any standards and, personally speaking, there can be no excuse for this. But up to this point WAD staff have served me and my friends with 100% excellent service and many appliances.

Scam. What you can do.

Hello everyone,

Fortunately, I have lost £100 only. I bought an item on the 03/03/22. No delivered. No any answer, email, phone etc as everyone. I am seeing many new disappointed comments and I am sorry we have been cheated.

Really stressed

Have bought many appliances over the past 12 years & never had a problem.
However
Ordered a microwave 27th Oct £629 wad told 7-10 weeks - 10 weeks 5th January.
Then told Feb
Then told 7 March
They phoned on 7 Mar to say it had arrived and they would deliver 9 30 am 8th March.
48 hours later no microwave, not answering landline,mobile or email.
Very stressed

Gas hob…… buyer beware!

Placed an order for a gas hob which, it was stated l, was in stock. Clearly was not as had to be ordered from the manufacturer! Therefore cancelled order. Phones have never been answered but eventually got email reply after several attempts and eventually, a partial refund. No reason given for keeping back £6! Since then, no emails have been replied to. I suppose I should consider myself lucky to have had most of our money back (through credit card). Stupidly, I didn’t read the reviews first and found this company via the Google shopping ads. I’m beginning to think that this company has no stock and only orders items after customers have paid? I sourced the hob elsewhere and had it delivered within 2 days.

Buyer beware!

SEEMS FRAUD

SEEMS FRAUD, Stay Away

I placed an order last Monday for expensive kitchen hood and they sent me a link to make the payment. following which I was promised that it will be delivered by Friday. I made the payment on Wednesday and since then been a week waiting for the appliance but nothing has been delivered. Initially before placing the order I could reach the customer care number but since last 4 days i cant get to them over the call it turns up in th voice mail . I sent a mail and been 3 days no response.

Is it legal company or anyone had any bad experience so this sort?

Brilliant pre-order service so far

I am yet to purchase my appliances but I would like to say that so far the service we have received from WAD has been brilliant. The gentleman we spoke to when we visited a few months ago was really helpful and since Scott has been so helpful and knowledgable in helping us plan and choose which appliances we will need to go with and lead times etc. He has been responsive and courteous.

AVOID, sold used hob as new. Won't respond to any communication

Bought a hob from them which we believe was a used item. Rust in rings, scratches on glass. Engineer visited site and even found a screw loose. Contacted several times via phone and email no answer. Very quick to take money but not to resolve issues. I think they sell reconditioned items as new. See other reviews similar on Google. Avoid at any cost any worth paying bit more to somewhere else

Waiting over a year for replacement model.

I agree with all the other reviews about customer services. Really wish I had read these reviews before placing an order. The company never responds to emails or answers the phone. It has been a year since I have been waiting for a replacement product for the damaged one I received. They shouldn’t be allowed to operate.

Waste of Time and Effort

Went there to look at range cookers. When we did find the company, it was closed down! No information on the door; only a contact number that was no longer working. Asked about, but was informed that they closed about a week ago. Possibly now working from West End. Waste of time and a round trip of thirty miles.

Fisher paykel

Ordered a cooker , when it arrived it was the wrong one so instead of waiting another 5/6 weeks we had no choice but pay an extra few hundred pounds as the cooker was a more expensive model. Had nothing but trouble with it . Fisher paykel, the worst oven we’ve ever owned. It was £1700 , had an engineer out 5 times and still not right.
Wouldn’t use this company or that cooker brand again.

Service

I came in based on a neighbours review and found everyone extremely helpful in advising the best oven for me based on the requirement for a 3 pin plug with a matching Microwave. Delivered next day and installed!

I don’t know what’s happened to them i used to buy all my kitchen appliances from them
in the past and same my parents for their home ,customer services are just awful! They never response back on emails or pick up phone n when i visited store was shocked it’s hardly anything in the stock will be buying from Currys from now ,it’s just shame they used to be so helpful etc

Satisfied customer.

I bought a Neff hob from Wad at the end of August 2021 and am very pleased with the service I received. I was particularly impressed with Scott who answered my emails almost by return and obviously did his utmost to make sure my order was fulfilled as promised.
I am very glad I bought the hob from Wad (and it was a lot cheaper than elsewhere) and will certainly buy from them again should the need arise.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Wanted to purchase oven and hob. Visited Store and emailed and phoned numerous times since. When I needed to change my requirements the Customer service became non existent. Not sure how this Company continues to trade- VERY DISAPPOINTING

Not worth bothering with....

Needed a new freezer & although the young chap tried to be helpful it was a fruitless exercise. Dont have any stock these days and not really sure who they are aiming for customer wise.... Kitchens, appliances? Place was dead...... Definately not like it used to be & have bought many appliances there over the years. Will not even bother anymore.
