Food is amazing but had an order fork deliveroo today and the portion was tiny, about 10 forks and it’s gone.
I had an amazing experience at…
I had an amazing experience at Wagamama! The food was fresh, flavorful, and served quickly, but what really made the visit stand out was the incredible service. Jazmin was warm, welcoming, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. Patrick was also fantastic—friendly, attentive, and really knowledgeable about the menu.
Together, they created such a positive atmosphere that it made the whole dining experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for great food and outstanding service!
Miso soup removed from menu
1) The very popular miso soup no longer on the menu.
2) Ordered chicken katsu curry with extra curry sauce. The extra sauce arrived in 2 minutes. The main meal took another 15 minutes and appeared only after I complained to the server, by which time the extra sauce was cold..and my partner had finished her meal which had arrived almost immediately. Get a grip Tunbridge Wells. And put the Miso soup back on the menu.
Craig - Bury St Edmunds Wagamama
Amazing, Flawless service from Craig. My hubby and I moved to a village just outside Bury on the 22/10/2025. I came ahead to get the house keys, whilst my hubby dealt with the removal team. I was tired and hungry from the move and craving good food. I had a ramen and Craig was so kind and caring and I had said how wonderful it was to finally be in Bury after a 2 year wait. I went to pay the bill and he had paid for it and just said "Welcome to Bury". What a magical experience. Its rare to find this kindness. Thank you Craig. Warm Regards Gilly
Wagamamas MK
Wagamama - Xscape , Milton Keynes.
Maria is an absolute gem. Fun, friendly and down to earth. Made our visit a memorable one, the interaction between us a family of 2 female adults and 2 children was perfect. Very personable, got the job done, and made me want to go back to that restaurant for her. Well done Maria.
Pork belly ramen
Cant believe they got rid of the classic pork belly ramen, the new one is disgusting! We need the old one back on the menu!
Ryan and the pork belly ramen are the star of the show
Ryan the server is a super star . Very welcoming and super friendly and helpful. The pork belly ramen is amazing. Superb service from Ryan , food was served promptly. Only one downside, the beats were too loud and not to my taste .
Once quality brand not as was
Sorry to say that based on our most recent experience the offer has gone markedly downhill, after being taken over two years ago. This was once a quality brand, of hot, healthy, good-sized, good choice, portions. Restaurant quality. It doesn't feel like that now. It feels like fast food, as does the way the menu is curated. The portion sizes have receded with not all food hot and limp salad. Came away feeling we could have prepared as good or better at home. Staff are still friendly though not, perhaps, as attentive as could be. Shame
Not going back to Wagamama…really disappointing. Overpriced. New menu is awful.
Very disappointing. Dreadful new menu, terrible choice now. Ridiculously overpriced, especially for what you get, and this evening in Guildford awful service. I understand that food comes when it’s ready but you’re lucky to get a drink of water before you’ve finished your meal. Sullen staff, some verging on rude. I’ve loved Wagamama for years, but I have no intention of going back. Nothing I want now on that menu, and won’t be paying those prices. So sad.
New menu sucks.
Been eating at Wagamama weekly for months, it became a bit of a family tradition, but the new menu basically removed every item we order...
- Coconut Kare curry gone
- Shushiok chicken gone
- Roti gone
We were told we could try and 'recreate' our dishes with custom donburi bowls, but these were bland and overloaded with rice. Won't be eating at Wagamama for a while.
Our waitress Charlotte
Our waitress Charlotte was really helpful and kind. She was very warm and welcoming and even gave me a little gift as it was my birthday. Would definitely recommend going to Wagamama.
Shortage of prawns !
Visited Wagamama at Clark’s Village Somerset. Nice meal but main course which included chicken and prawns contained only one prawn and very small amount of chicken. Recognise you have to make economies guys but let’s get real with the advertised ingredients !
Favourite dishes ... Gone!
What was the reasoning behind removing people's favourite meals from the menu without any kind of communication with your loyal customers?
My own favourite (shu shiok chicken) just gone. And so am I.
It's a pity because the staff are always so wonderful.
Oh.. and £4.50 for the tiniest can of Diet Coke you can find?? You're having a laugh!
Wagamama Cheltenham
Went to the Wagamama in Cheltenham. Nabina and the rest of the team were lovely. Food was quick and tasty. Restaurant was hygienic and to a good, clean standard. Thank you
Enfield - Worst Branch
Last night I went to the Wagamama in Enfield and the service was horrendous. I was served by the manager Jacob (I have allergies) and he couldn’t have been ruder / more arrogant. He took our order. Everyone but me was served so I asked where my food was (everyone had finished by now). Jacob walked past as though he didn’t hear it and asked someone else to come to the table (barring in mind - as per wagamamas regulations- due to my allergies he should be the one serving me). 3 people came to the table on different occasions and told me he’d forgotten to put my food in the order. Nothing was resolved. At the end I left without eating as I’d been waiting for over an hour. Not once did he come to apologise, always sent someone else over to give the face. No discount or apology was given and at the end, when we left, he Walked past me and, in a rude way said “see ya”. Worst service I’ve ever received. I don’t think it’s appropriate to have someone so unprofessional “manage” such a big branch. Will not be going back.
Lousy service
We went to the Enfield branch, and we received a lousy service. The dinner was for several people and one of them never got her food. The manager (Jacob) didn’t even came to the table to apologize, and to save face he just send some one to table to bring the bill. The worst Wagamama I’ve ever been to.
Removed all the favourite vegan options
Removed all the family favourite vegan options from the menu, including the vegatsu. We have 2 vegans in the family also with other restrictions, who now cannot eat anything on the menu. This means our whole family won’t be eating at wagamamas again. Feels like a complete betrayal from a restaurant that said they were continuing to expand their vegan options but are actually reducing them completely because it’s not “trendy” anymore. Extremely disappointed and none of us will be eating here until the vegatsu comes back.
The menu change is disgusting
The menu change is a disgusting act of betrayal to plant based eaters and people who avoid allergens, count you days, you've waga-mugged us off 😠 rip vegatsu 🪦
Vegan options decreased
The vegan options have been significantly decreased and it’s very disappointing especially as they made a big deal about their 50% vegan pledge. The worst change was taking away the vegan fried chicken now the vegan starters are just seasoned vegetables like cauliflower, mushroom or potato with no good protein options. Vegans love protein as much as anyone else. Please either bring the vegan chicken back or post a detailed recipe so people can make it at home.
