I have found Waggel's responses to be prompt and very reasonable and without unnecessary red tape. I have requested payment of expenses on several occasions and each time the money has been reimbursed without any fuss. It has been a very pleasant experience dealing with Waggel in relation to my pet's veterinary expenses.

Do not use this pet insurance
I have insured my dog with Waggel since she was a puppy, since 2021, it started off with £18.39, and now, they are asking from £22.04 from last year to £30.31! I haven’t had one single claim for the last 6 years, and still they are increasing this time by £7! Stop saying it’s about the cost of living has increased, my dog is still very young, and again, I never had one single claim. I just tried to do another quote with exact same requirements as I currently have, on their website, and the quote was £11.36! This is absolutely ridiculous. I will never use Waggel and I will never recommend this pet insurance to anyone.

Really disappointed with this insurance company. I disputed their refusal to pay out. My vet wrote to them explaining that my claim was valid and their reasoning was incorrect. They still refuse to pay out despite a professional telling them are WRONG.
Its not a large claim. My dog was suspected of having mammary cancer. Her tumour turned out to be benign. Waggle refuse to understand that any follicular cyst is different in every single way to another follicular cyst so you cannot group them under a pre-existing condition.
This type of treatment from Pet insurance companies is the reason many pet owners are scared of getting treatment for their much loved pets. You end up with a huge bill that should have been covered by insurance. It's disgusting. Well WAGGLE will get a rude 2 finger waggle from me when it comes to renew
