Wasabi used to be a favourite place

Wasabi used to be a favourite place, recently the food isn't fresh, the chicken is dry, the rice is stale and dry and the staff's attitude is beyond pale. I got screamed at by one of them because I got a takeaway order but then it started raining so I had to eat it in. She said if I want to eat in, I have to pay the VAT, so let me get this straight- on your takeaway orders you don't add VAT? I better check with the tax office about that then, as far as I'm aware, everything sold business to customer attracts VAT. Wasabi just doesn't know what lies to tell next, they make it up as they go along. Never again, I've had enough of your nonsense and your stale food, you absolutely suck. Just ordered dinner from wasabi (Canary…

Just ordered dinner from wasabi (Canary Wharf). I couldn’t eat it as clearly everything was off. The raw salmon smelling and avocado gone dark. Not to mention that was poorly packed and arrived and salad arrived opened with almost half of it in the bag. Never again!
Very poor quality and no care for customers.

Sushi not fresh and terrible quality all round

Went to wasabi in high street Kensington with my family- there were no available seats, and the stools that were there were incredibly high up to the point that I felt like I was going to topple over. The sushi was practically frozen (I wonder if it was defrosted, but clearly not fully), and my mum had some spicy chicken, and the was ill the next day. Generally a waste of money and very disappointing.

Wasabi Sushi Kings Cross - get on the train and don’t pass this place

Visited Wasabi Sushi Kings Cross and if it weren’t for the fact my train was winging its way out of the station when I discovered the ‘food’ I’d been given, I would’ve marched back upstairs and asked for a refund. Chicken was so dry it literally crumbled. There were also 2 large fillets in one serving but may be a quarter the portion of rice and lots of crispy something or other sprinkled over that I couldn’t define. The lettuce was brown and limp. Not with the £6+ I paid. Best part of the order was the sizeable paper bag that I could carry all my overflow luggage in.

I never ever complain as I work in…

I never ever complain as I work in hospitality myself and I know how stressful it can be, however I was made to feel very unwelcome today in your soho branch off dean street where I go nearly every week. The girl serving me (Raluca) was very rude. I asked her if it was possible to have some more chicken as my dish looked like it had more vegetables than meat (which I’ve experienced before) and she just rolled her eyes at me and walked off to get it for me. I could see her saying something under her breath to another member of staff. I visit this branch a lot and don’t expect to be treated in this manor. Manors cost nothing!

My first meal in Wasabi in Hammersmith…

My first meal in Wasabi in Hammersmith Broadway. It was nice. More importantly, I nearly tripped. Staff informed me that the place was recently flooded so the metal flooring is starting to become warped in places. Mainly near the self-help shelves.
An Italian female member of staff did the best she could by taping down the uprising edges and placing hazard signposts on the flooring.
I can't get through to customer services or the responsiblen owners so I place this important issue right here in my review.
Hopefully, someone will read and check it out.
One cannot slouch in their nice bright green hygienic chairs because your bottoms will automatically slide down.
Now I REALISE WHY PLACES ARE SHUTDOWNS. SOME TEMPORARILY AND SOME PERMANENTLY. IT'S BECAUSE OF PUBLIC HEALTH & SAFETY PLUS THE COVID-19 VIRUS. "Metal flooring, warped in places where customers self-help, temporarily 'taped' down?" Certainly not safe for customers and staff as well. They should have called in a Surveyor who would have contacted professional builders to make their premises safe for public use. Surely they could have afforded to do so with a huge turnover because it was a popular eatery. That was BEFORE the Covid-19 virus hit all establishments. Staff was young and irresponsible. In their twenties+.

Best High Street sushi!!

Best High Street sushi!!
Love their salmon, always the freshest. Tried Itsu once instead and it was awful; hard rice, flavourless fish,.. Never risking it again, sticking to Wasabi forever!! :D IT'S THE BEST!!

Went on first date, we visit everytime we are in town

The Wasabi in China Town, Manchester is amazing. Some of the best Katsu and Soft Shell Crab, if you are in manchester and fancy sushi or east asian food this is the best place to go :D The staff are so nice too and great enviroment, my partner and I went for our first date and we have been each time we are in town! See you guys again soon :D
