Dealt initially with Alan Clunnie who offered good advice. Did not order immediately but placed order several days ago. Leather strap to replace the steel strap on my TAG watch. Delivery within 48 hours , well protected and good pre delivery updates.
Web site offers excellent advice re replacing and fitting the strap. Overall a first class service. Would use again.

After breaking the metal strap on my Formula 1, I emailed in to ask about part compatibility, received a response in less than 24 hours. The strap and deployment clasp arrived within a couple days. Absolutely in love with them!!! Thank you Alan Clunnie for the exceptional service <3

I would like to appreciate the speed and helpfulness with which watchstrapworld resolved the inconsistency with the information on the website and resolved my negaive feedbackby sending the correct size and fixing their web page to correct specification. Alan had a maximum pro-customer approach.

I'd ordered some watch pins (for the watch strap) and a tool to fit them. Alan quickly phoned me up and told me that the tool wouldn't work with my model of watch due to the body shape, so recommended using a jewellers hammer to extract the pins.

I ordered a leather strap for my tag heuer carrera. The strap arrived after a very short time, even though i live outside of the UK.
I had a few questions regarding my purchase and Alan came back to me in no time.

I just received a brown leather strap for my Heuer Autavia Viceroy...what a quality! If it came directly from Tag it wouldn't be better. Actually there is NO difference as I have the original black one.
Craftsmanship, precision is superb. Delivery was within 10 days from Warwick to Vancouver, BC, Canada which I thought was great! I will be back glad I discovered you guys!!

Just received my third strap from Watchstrap World for Tag Monza as they've eventually needed replacing over the course of the last 12 years. Always good quality just as expected, good-looking and efficient delivery (to NZ). I'm sure I'll use your service again in future, thanks.

Cautionary tale for all the potential customers out there.

As an European customer, I was scammed by this retailer who hid/sloppily neglected relevant information about the VAT + custom fees in during the purchase process. Adding a general disclaimer on the seller's website on customer responsibility for “any custom duties or taxes which may be charged” is definitely not enough to be exonerated from the duty to provide transparent information on the delivery page, as customers do make choices based on the information they are provided with.
I ended up paying double of the price of initial purchase due to VAT and custom duties, which is simply inacceptable and which could have avoided by adding at least a VAT calculator (as it is already the case for the shipping fees calculator).

When contacted, the customer service proved responsive, yet completely unhelpful and amateurish.

I will not use this company's services ever again.

Fantastic service. Ordered online a replacement strap for my Tag Heuer Mercedes Benz SLR. Arrived in 10 days all the way from the UK to NZ. Easy to fit and exactly as described. Very happy.

Just received my watch strap for my tag carrera. Spoke to Sharon who was absolutely brilliant when I spoke to her few days ago, also received a aluminium spring removal tool which was absolutely free amazing customer service will definitely be buying from them again 👍🏻

Just received and fitted the replacement strap I bought from Watchstrapworld. The strap is a perfect fit for my Grand Carrera. It is absolutely genuine leather and the stitching is perfect. I did have an issue regarding email confirmation of my purchase but a quick call to Watchstrapworld sorted that out, Alan advised me to check my spam folder and sure enough there it was, my fault entirely. All in all I'm extremely happy with my purchase, so if you need a quality replacement watch band at a fraction of the price Tag Heuer would charge (£275 in my case) you definitely won't be disappointed. One word of advice, be certain that you are ordering the correct strap for your watch, there are subtle differences in many of the carrera models.

Seems to be good quality strap, ok price. However, it is around 1 - 1.5cm longer than standard strap (description didn’t say it was extra long). It took 24hrs to process my order and I’d paid for next day; ordered Tuesday afternoon, it arrived Friday. The delivery charges are expensive (£4.50) given the size of the item; other companies less than half the price or free for £30 order. When questioned about the delivery time, they blamed Royal Mail and said that 24hrs is guide not guaranteed. If this is the case they shouldn’t advertise it as 24hr .

My experience with this shop had been the worst ever in my life.
I bought an expensive strap and they sent me this item incomplete and bad finished .
The after sales service, Alan, didn't want to refund me completely, sustaining it was not their fault.
Guys, stay away from this store to avoid problems!! It isn't a serious company to guarantee the customer!! Pay attention!!

I ordered 2 x strap screws and tubes for my Panerai. They actualy arrived rather fast, which is always nice. I took out the old screws and put in the new ones. That evening I noticed that one of the screws had worked its way half way out of its socket. I thought I had screwed it in to loose, so I screwed it back in harder the second time. Now I was aware of the problem and I kept an eye on it, and sure enough, 15 min later, it had worked its way out again. Luckely I was at home that evening, but had I been out, I might not have noticed, and I could have lost my Panerai!!! It's important to say, that I put back in the original screws, and I have not had a problem since...

I recently purchased a 20-18mm perforated leather strap (think it is a Carrera replacement) to go on my Aquaracer 41mm. I almost bought a new watch but instead decided I was bored of the stainless steal strap and got myself a Tag clasp (5014) and sought about finding the right leather strap. I almost bought genuine on Ebay for £135 but gave Watch Strap World a shot - Sooooo pleased I did. The strap fits my buckle perfectly and without taking it off you wouldn't know that it is aftermarket. I paid just under £37 with postage and I would happily buy from them again. They have a list of all the model clasps that the strap you are considering wont't fit! Super helpful, great product and quick delivery.
I saved about £100 on the strap vs genuine Tag and I saved thousands because my Aquaracer looks like a different watch on leather so I didn't need to buy a new piece. Cheers Watch Strap World. See you again soon!

I ordered a black crocodile leather strap for my TAG Carrera for £42.95 (original TAG one is £225.00!!!) and a black PVD clasp for £37.99 (original one is £243.00!!!) and I have to say both were delivered next day on the standard shipping service and both items are absolutely fantastic, I couldn't be happier with them.
100% i will be using this company again.

their customer service is way way down.

as they insult their customers telling them English as not their first language.

Alan of Watch Strap will also email you that you are 'rude' when in fact it's the other way around.

and be careful with their 'Shipping & Handling' charges - i was charged 8GBP for a small packet of watch strap dispatched from WestMidlands, UK to Ireland that took them more than 10 working days.

Great web site easy to use, excellent choice of straps, fast delivery and excellent quality befitting of a tag heuer watch.

looking for a strap for a Tag Grand Carrera, I called several shops who told me to bring my watch in so they can tell me if they have a strap (I went to 2 who didn't have my strap and didn't fancy wasting more time travelling). Paul knew his stuff, he asked me for a few codes from my watch and clasp then told me to type a code into the search box on his website. This bought up 15 straps for my watch. he also advised me to buy a fitting tool (£3.95) so I can fit it myself. I ordered and received the next day. Changed the strap myself in 5 mins. GREAT SERVICE. I'll definitely be ordering another one from him.

We used this company to purchase an alternative strap for my Tag Carrera. The speed of delivery was good and it was well packaged. After fitting the strap, I realised there was a problem and i contacted them for advice. I spoke to Paul and it was quickly identified I had purchased the wrong clasp. The problem was resolved quickly and in a friendly but professional manner. I was very please with the outcome and the speed of communication. I am sure Paul was too - I spent another £38! I would recommend Watch Strap World.
