Bought a watch bracelet from WatchStyle that was advertised to adjust down to the exact size I needed...and I made sure of this by measuring the one currently on the watch. The bracelet from WatchStyle shows up and it's actually 3mm longer than advertised...meaning my Panerai is going to spin 360 degrees on my wrist. I politely explained this to them, only to receive an email the next day that said simply "READ THE TERMS SMARTASS!!!" in giant font. Later, when I tried to reply to ask if that was a "no" on my request for a return shipping label (a legitimate question that I had to ask per my credit card company, which I found very funny all the same), I learned that the crazy person answering questions at WatchStyle had actually blocked my email address from their server.

I guess places like this are why God invented chargebacks. :-)

Awful and rude customer service, close to being a scam... do not buy from them!!!

Ordered nice band replacement for my tag. Charged and never received. Customer service said its my problem. Do not do business with this company.

Scam. You get banned for asking a few questions.

Do NOT order from this site. A friend god "banned" from their site after he contacted them to tell them about a problem with his order.
The dialog from customer service was like knifes in my eyes to read.

I really hope no-one order from this site!!!

I ordered a crocodile watch band (order 3448) and was lead to believe it would fit a particular watch - prominente cuervo y sobrinos Habana. it does not - long strap width at watch pin is 1 mm too narrow (19 mm instead of 20 mm) plus the strap end will not fit through the gold clasp.

I contacted the seller who refused to take responsibility, or take the item back or consider exchange.
almost $300 item and a belligerent seller who sees no reason to cultivate future business.
Look elsewhere for your watch bands.

Watch out. Definitely scammers

Stay clear of this retailer. They routinely botch orders which they outright refuse to make right. They consistently evade customers' communications or worse, treated some with total disdain. A rudimentary online search for Watchstyle, Michael Kares or Watchband.biz (an earlier iteration of their site) will result in a great many disappointed and outraged former customers.

I have returned a watchstrap that did not fit and have not received a refund. I would like to join with other to tweet this problem and to make it available for all to see. I am still waiting for a response to this and should I not get one within 3 days I will very much go public with my experience. I hope they contact me and return my money.

I wish I had seen these reviews before we spent the money. My husband and I both wanted nice watchbands for our watches and went to Watchstyle.com. They have a way to measure your watch online, which we used in our orders. If we had thought about it, we would have realized that such a tool is ridiculous—depends on the type of computer, resolution, etc. Unfortunately, when the bands came, they were very much too large for our watches, and we realized our mistake. This company, however, has a policy of not replacing watchbands that don't fit, unless the construction is at fault. I wrote them, told them their website was actually at fault, and have never heard back from them. These bands cost us several hundred dollars each, and we're stuck with them, since they're much too large to fit anything we're likely to buy. Stay away!

I bought an alligator strap 19/16. Over 200 USD
It arrived with clear and correct return policies under EU law.
Returned item within 2 days (I had faculty for 14 days) and they refuse refund. No answer and worst experience online in my life.
Like robbers! They care nothing for cross-border consumer policies and legislation.
Were pushed also by European Consumer Center Network without reaction.

The owner of this place needs to learn basic communications skills.
Please do a google search before you do any business there, numerous forums discuss how he behaves. Many others have had similar experience with Michael Kares. Unfortunately I did not check this out before I placed an order on this website.

Ordered a Hirsch strap from him and was forced to choose DHL Express delivery, 2-3 business days for 16 GBP. After a week I sent an e-mail asking for tracking number and the reply was "Rest assured, we will". Replied that mail asking why it had not been sent yet as it was listed "In stock" on the website. Got a new mail from Michael stating: "YOU ARE BANNED". The strap finally arrived after a very long wait.

Please stay away from this and his other sites as this man should not be in any business at all.
