Personal Attentive Waiting Staff
We found the Waterfront Street Kitchen & Bar by accident, after attending the Titanic Immersive Experience. Stupidly we assumed the food places would be open in the main area of the Excel Centre, due to the Titanic venue being so close by. The appearance of the restaurant from the outside misleads the actually reasonable price but exceptional standard of the meals. Our server, Lucky, could not do enough for us. We both had the Statesman Smash and I can honestly say it's the best burger I have ever had! I'm not normally a chips or fries person, but the accompanying skin on fries were awesome also. For dessert we both could not decide which one to have, out of the two on which we had settled, so we decided to by one of each and then cut both in two, to enable us both to sample each dessert. I remember that one of them was the Salted Caramel cheesecake, but I cannot remember the other, and it doesn't seem to be on the menu anymore! All in all a magnificent meal, in an amazing bright venue with fantastic views of the Thames. My only criticism was that we couldn't leave a tip, as there wasn't the facility on the card machine and we didn't have any cash, but I would have quite happily given 10% to 15% to Lucky, as he made our visit incredible.
