This was the third time we'd used Wealden Joinery, and – as always – they did a great job for us. The door is perfect, and the whole process couldn't have been more straightforward.

Wealden Joinery made and installed a new back door for our 1920’s Art and Crafts style home. The door is perfect for the property, beautifully made, and very efficiently and skilfully installed. Very highly recommended, and I would use Wealden Joinery again.

Martin & his team were very professional , polite and stuck to the promised schedule which was very important for us. Our advice would be that they are in demand so be prepared for a generous lead time and the craftmanship and quality of their work is reflected in the price. We feel the wait and investment was more than worthwhile - we have a lovely window, well finished and dry! We would happily recommend them, and would use them again.

Martin, Kelly and the team at Wealden Joinery have been fantastic from start to finish. They replaced six windows on our period property in East Sussex. They are master craftsmen at what the do and the windows are transformative for our home. They were also great with communication and stuck to all pre-agreed timelines. Highly recommend!!

This is a truly professional company. Care was taken in understanding what we wanted. We were guided on what to expect before, during and after the work took place. Martin is a class act and his team were also professional, hard working, friendly and unbelievably, managed to keep the dust to an absolute minimum! Wealden Joinery replaced 14 very cheap and awful aluminium frames windows with beautiful timber frames, completely transforming the feeling (and temperature!) of our house. The quality is really high and the installers Dan and Mark were a pleasure to have around. Would recommend visiting their showroom to get a feel for the different types of windows they can make, in addition to seeing where they will be built. We hope to have them back to replace more windows!

Very friendly and helpful and totally professional

Restoring my grand parents 1920s bungalow to original style involved replacing all of the 1980s uPVCs with bespoke top quality fittings using Accoya wood to FENSA spec. I was able to supply Wealden Joinery with photo evidence of the original doors and windows, and Martin carefully worked through these, visiting site, with much discussion, designing to ensure that the original style and period details, colour, and dimensions were adhered to. I visited the busy workshops which were impressive, meeting the traditional craftsmen, seeing the joinery, finishing, and range of bespoke doors and windows in progress. A gem of an operation in this day and age.
I was kept appraised of progress, all happened to schedule, and Wealden carried out an excellent installation with quality of finish that is first class. I wholeheartedly recommend Wealden Joinery, and am so pleased that this work was carried out by them on my ‘Forever Home’.

We’re very pleased with the door that Martin and team made and installed for us. It was a custom job and we wanted it just so, but the end result is great. The fitters that installed it left things clean and tidy, and did a really neat job.

The new porch entrance has transformed the look of the house from the outside and greatly improved the warmth and reduced traffic noise inside.
The new bay windows were a big financial consideration and as we were replacing the existing windows with the same style we were unsure we would see any real difference, However, the results were worth every penny because the rooms are now brighter, quieter and warmer. Any the end of 2020, we decided to replace nearly all the windows in our house and approached a number of local companies for quotes. Without doubt, Wealden Joinery were the most responsive and engaged, with Martin showing great forbearance as we took our time to make a final decision on style and wood type. The process of ordering, construction, delivery and installation was straightforward with Wealden keeping us fully informed throughout the process and showing themselves flexible and receptive to requests for small changes along the way. The team which installed the windows (which included Martin, Dave and Mark) was without exception polite and friendly, cleaning and tidying up as the installation progressed. Post installation, Martin followed up to ensure that there were no snags. We have had the windows now for some 8 months and the impact and difference as the weather cools is notable as also is the positive visual impact that the new windows have had on our house. We were very pleased that we picked Wealden Joinery and will certainly use them again as the need arises.

We had circa 15 new windows and 3 sets of French doors installed by Wealden joinery and I can not recommend them highly enough. I got several other quotes but Martin was the only person to actually take the time to come out and see me and his terms were highly competitive. The windows themselves are of excellent quality and Martin fitted them himself (with a bit of help!), which to me is a sign of trust in his own product. The fitting process was also excellent, Martin was very accommodating of our requests to fit certain windows first, he was extremely punctual and the site was always left clean and tidy. Overall we were very happy.
