Overpriced, broken Terrarium, no support

My girlfriend bought a nice Terrarium for Christmas on this website and they were so friendly to ship it to Germany.

From the website the terrarium looked very exclusive and of high quality. They also mentioned that it’s very sustainable and the glass is ecoglass *recycles glass.

She ordered a bigger desert terrarium for a very high price in my eyes but I thought the quality must be very good.

When the parcel arrived I was very happy and when I opened the box I was quite shocked! The glass terrarium was made of super thin glass *similar to the small rim of a wine glass*, the metal spoon was very cheap and you could bend it easily and the pebbles and soil were just put in a paper coated plastic bag.

It felt like someone just put very low priced items in a nice looking wrapping. I felt ashamed for this company to sell something like this for almost 80£ ! Pebbles -
Soil - a spoon - bamboo stick - glass - 2 plants *standard can be found in any supermarket* and moss

For the sacks of Christmas I tried to decorate the terrarium and put some pebbles inside -
A second later the glass shattered all over the table, almost slicing my wrist and pebbles all over the floor - surprise!

I searched for refund options on the website and found nothing also in the packet nothing of what to do in case of a return or faulty product. By circumstance I found an email address and wrote about my experience -
After a few days they replied that this is ecoglass and it is normal that it is thin sometimes ... lucky me - they wanted to send me a replacement or I could return it for a refund.

I said I am angry and want my money back but never heard back from them and the 30€ for shipping broken glass and pebbles had to be paid my me and they never offered to compensate Return shipping costs!

Summary
The website is beautiful and someone put a lot of effort into presenting that this is a trustworthy company but it’s just overpriced low quality products in a nice wrapping! I highly recommend anyone to buy somewhere else.... dangerous, disgrace and disappointing.
