Michael Svacha, Webnode

Michael was there for me, a novice in all aspects of website creation, throughout the process. Our back and forth communication helped me to design exactly what I wanted my site to do and look like. He offered prompt, efficient and very clear feedback to each question I had. I am happy with my site as are all of my many friends who have viewed it so far!

Excellent support and customer service

The support team at Webnode is nothing short of exceptional. Any time you have a query your dedicated customer support representative answers quickly and efficiently. My questions ranged from web design right through to site transfer and payment options and the same person was able to answer everything. There was no, "I'll pass this on to my colleague". Webnode itself is arguably the best, easiest and most user friendly web design software available. You don't even have to read any instructions, it's just so intuitive. Highly, highly recommend this company!

I am glad I found Webnode. Totally free of charge I now have a site I'm proud of. The customer care agent Mr. Matthew Smith was always there to help me. It's actually fun to build your own website with Webnode!

Webnode Customer Service

I normally don't write a review for a company but Michael Svacha went beyond the normal scope of work to ensure that the few issues I had with Webnode were quickly taken care of to my utmost satisfaction.

I originally had an issue with their renewal system. I had already planned to do a 301 redirect to another server but was billed by there automated billing system that I was not familiar with. Of course I immediately contacted Webnode and was forwarded to Michael Svacha who addressed any issues from that point forward. Although I had did not know to turn off the auto-renewal feature of the account he worked with me diligently to offer alternatives which I approved.

The next issue was with a an exhausting attempt to do a 301 redirect to another hosting account for one of my Webnode domains. He worked for over two weeks helping me figure it out. Unheard of from most hosting sites. As it turned out, I was the weak link and had not taken of the domain protection from my other server.

With that being said I can say Webnode support and especially
Michael Svacha are top notch. I would recommend this company to all my friends and family and I don't say that lightly!

Excellent service provider!

I believe Webnode is exactly what an average internet user really needs these days. Few years ago, not everyone could afford to have a website or eshop. Today with service providers like webnode everyone can. Especially with webnode, creating an eshop was very easy for me, because I had a lot of help, with very quick response, and in my language (GREEK).

First class, easy to use (with the help of the online chat with Michael Svacha)

I am a beauty therapist and this is all new to me but needed to make the move to build my site. With the constant questions asked to Michael Svacha nothing was too much trouble almost a step by step help. Im very greatful to him and the webnode site for making this possible to have my own domain coupled with a free site (to start off with ) until im able to gain more of a budget to build a premium.

Wonderful tech support

I encountered a problem with editing the website ( I my own projects on it since it is a website builder) and after struggling with it for a while I contacted the support team thinking it has to be a problem with them.
The support team though and the man that had to bear with me for several days, Matthew Smith, turned out to be responsible, attentive and understanding.
We exchanged more than 20 emails before the matter was sorted out. Each time Matthew was trying to help as best as he could even though midway through the correspondence it became crystal clear that the problem I have had nothing to do with their but with a redirect virus on my machine. He even sent me instructions on how to deal with the problem.
I wish more tech support teams were as helpful.

Great Service!

I spoke to Matthew Smith from the Support team.

He was incredibly helpful. He his email repleis where fast, and informed me off what caused my issue, and what was done to resovle it. the issue itself was resolved very fast, and i could nto be happier with the serivce.

Webnode

If your looking for a webpage site builder I would highly recomend Webnode. Easy to use great value and run by a proffesional team. If you have a question it is answerd quickly and concise. Matthew Smith got back to me within a day and he took the time to look at my page so he could give me the best advice. Excelent all round.

Perfect website for creating websites!

I have always had positive experience with webnode and have been really happy with the functionality of their web editors and the design of the web templates. All the issues I've had understanding certain things which were new to me, have been resolved very quickly by an incredibly helpful support team, especially Matthew Smith who answered all my questions and aided me through the process of creating my first website. I've only had positive experience with Webnode, so there are no negative comments for me to make. I highly recommend their platform to anyone who wants to create their own, great looking web.

excellent website provider

I started my own website with Webnode back in 2010 and have had a good experience throughout that time - their customer services is excellent too so would recommend and in particular Matthew Smith from Webnode who has been extremely helpful. I have just retired so have decided to end my website days now and that is the only reason for not continuing with Webnode.

Pleased Webnode User

I am pleased with the quick responses whenever I need assistance. I am also satisfied with the operation of the website. It was not difficult to develop with the help of the Webnode Customer service department. Visitors to my website has told me that it looks good and some have commented how professional it looks.

Prompt excellent services. Thumbs up!

Yes there are always times in life when things don't go your way or don't work out. In my case it was SEO back-linking. It's was really a Google SEO problem. Webnode staff addressed my concerns within a hours via e-mail. They admitted that they had some problems on their end that were being addressed. Corrected my issues immediately and made right a wrong. It's refreshing and rare indeed to see a company be transparent, move forward and still be fair with their customers.

Worst Mail service ever, vendor lock-in tricks

A client asked me to help them migrate their site and mail accounts away from Webnode. This seemed a fairly straightforward task. However, even though they had payed for the premium account, answers to simple questions could take up to over four days to answer (not counting weekends). Often, evasive answers were given. When they found out we wanted to leave their service, we were told all email-accounts would be lost.

I tried to backup all mail via IMAP but Webnode simply doesn't support IMAP. I don't know any mailserver provider who doesn't support IMAP. Some accounts I could simply use POP mail to download all old mail. Others would only download the last month's mail, while there were thousands of massages on the server and webmail module.

The Webnode webmail module works fine, as long as you only look at the most recent messages. If you go further back, it freezes for up to an hour, even if you log out and in again.

The Webnode email module allows forwarding PER MESSAGE, not a series of messages and only as quoted mail, you can not simple forward email as it originally was.

All in all Webnode's mail service is deliberately crippled, to make it harder to leave, even for paying customers, also known as vendor lock-in. You are warned!
