THE BUILDING FIRM WAS A FATHER AND SON

THE BUILDING FIRM WAS A FATHER AND SON. THEY ARE GREAT AT THEIR JOB. THEY PUT ME IN A NEW SHOWER ROOM. ALSO, I HAD TO HAVE MY SANIFLO IN THE DOWNSTAIRS TOILET, BECAUSE THE BULDERS THAT INSTALLED IT ONLY PUT A 25mm PIPE IN SO IT CAPED JAMMING UP. NOW IT'S A 38mm PIPE. IT WORKS GREAT, SO MUCH FASTER. I RECOMMEND WE CARE AND REPAIR FOR ALL YOUR JOB NEADS

Huge thanks to skillful Handyman Martin…

Huge thanks to skillful Handyman Martin for all the trouble he took putting in hand rails to keep me safe inside the house & out, following my hip replacement. A very kind & thoughtful We Care employee.

Pointless service

I spent 2 weeks trying to contact by email and on the phone, in order to get 2 flushes replaced, I had no working toilet for 2 weeks. I chased it constantly and eventually they sent someone to look at it and said he'd probably get someone to do it tomorrow.
I then never heard back so I emailed again, no reply. Phoned again and they finally gave me a quote of £330!!!
God know what they were planning on doing for that price as I got another quote for £160 elsewhere.
I'm a home owner on benefits and disabled, I honestly don't know what the point of them is.
Would complain but there's no details on website and they don't answer emails for some reason.

New handrail is just the job

John arrived at the stated time and did a great job of fitting a new hand rail for the staircase. He was friendly, paid attention to detail and checked that our old plaster was in good enough condition for the installation to be safe. The work was done quickly and with minimum of fuss and we're very happy with the results.

Friendly, Efficient and Affordable

I initially spoke to the team in their office to book appointments and on both occasions they were very patient and friendly. I've had a couple of separate visits no, once to fit curtain rails and another to replace our outdoor light. They turned up in the agreed time slot (I think they can offer a morning or afternoon) and as promised wore masks when I needed them to. They were really lovely and polite, and completed the tasks efficiently. When they fitted the curtain rails they made sure to clean up any mess afterwards. The light fitting needed a new part, and they were able to make a quick trip to the local shop for this returning in good time to complete the job. Overall the price for these jobs was very affordable compared to some quotes I had found. I would really recommend them for this kind of thing.

Really helpful Team

My brother is in hospital and there were jobs that needed to be done at his home before his discharge could be arranged. I was very fortunate to have help from We Care with this. They carried out the work quickly and efficiently, and my brother and I cannot thank them enough.

They came to put my gas lift storage…

They came to put my gas lift storage bed up and I discovered that there is two rips inside the bed that they tried to cover up..then the started my display cabinet and half way through they said they can't finish it, leaving the glass doors on the floor making it unsafe for my 1 year and 4 year. They was suppose to do 3 jobs but done 1 and a half I'm glad they didn't finish because I was quoted £60 for all three items then when it suddenly changed to £500 because Wayne told the office that they would be here at my house all day if they came back which is clearly a lie. I believe they was trying to rip me off...they also was unprofessional inwhich they was complaining and said in front of my son that they could get away with over charging me (they didn't know that he was listening to them).I wouldn't recommend them they pray on weak and can not be trusted!

bodgers is too kind a word for them.

bodgers is too kind a word for them.

they put a gate/fence up for me, they cant cut timber straight, drive screws in at 45 degrees for no good reason except laziness, splitting wood in process [no pilot hole and at end of plank]. it looked such a mess even my girl friend freaked out. every bodge that could be done was. got the manager round who didn't have the heart to charge for the work.

but this is the weird part, next time while he was here checking out the complaint and waiting to get his bike carried back to the office in their van his man did some more work for me. [i assumed as he was here the work would be ok] he reattached a sink to the wall at a strange angle and not using screws, just silicone sealant [which does work but is not good practice] but the sink was sloping outwards. i sent a photo in and they again didn't bill me. this level of workmanship will ultimately devalue the house as people will notice it, how on earth did they get the 2 awards they boast of, did they buy them? why is the manager so disinterested, he was actually sitting in the bathroom the whole time his man was bodging the sink repair.

this manager said he was a qualified electrician and training his men/man to fit wall sockets....a good way me thinks, to get your house burnt down.

until my back gave out i worked as a builder, now i'm not a craftsman or a perfectionist ....just a sucker it seems

WE CARE & REPAIR are BODGERS

We care & Repair based in Bristol completed an adapted bathroom in 2015 & only recently have I found a number of botched jobs which they had done. The classic one was they had to remove a toilet as a new soil pipe was being fitted & I found that someone from Westside Contracting working on behalf of We Care & Repair had cut the overflow pipe to remove the toilet quickly. On fitting the toilet back they used tape to seal up the overflow pipe. What complete idiots & bodgers.
