Good communication - easy to make amendments to policy
I've had a positive experience with WedCover. I took out a policy for my partner and I's wedding. I had to make a couple of changes to the policy and this was easy to do with good communication from the WedInsure team.
I didn't have to make a claim on the insurance though so I can't comment on that.

The marquee cover advertised is not the marquee cover provided. I had to ring 4 times to try to work out why what was quoted was different to the policy schedule when I purchased the policy. They have now cancelled the policy as it is not what was advertised but I have not had confirmation of my refund yet. I expect I will also have to chase that too!

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and we're sorry you had a negative experience when including marquee cover as an optional add on to your wedding policy.
Having reviewed the online journey there is only the option to purchase £25,000 of marquee cover, while this was also reflected in your Policy Schedule. We do however accept our website states "up to £75,000" and therefore can see how this wasn't as clear as it could be and has therefore been passed to our development team to review.
I understand our customer service team have issued a full refund on 12/06/2024 and I have subsequently confirmed with them this has been processed successfully. Please allow 3-5 working days for this to be received back in to your account as this depending on your bank.
Once again, we're sorry for any inconvenience caused.
