I am extremely disappointed with Wego’s customer service.
I booked an Ethiopian Airlines ticket from Cape Town on 28 February and was involuntarily returned back to Cape Town. I have been trying to get a full refund, but the process has been frustrating due to poor communication.
Wego does not proactively update me on my case, and I only receive information when I personally follow up, which has caused unnecessary delays and stress.
My booking reference number is WFZ5SFMRNAP26 and my new ticket number is 0712158910698.
This matter is still unresolved, and I urgently request my full refund. I hope this review helps escalate my case and that Wego improves its customer support for customers facing similar situations.
I booked a flight through the wego app my ticket was confirmed and this is my BOOKING ID WFZZ1F46AHU26 and later that before 10 day’s ago my flight was cancelled due to flight issues and same day i applied for refund amount and wego app can’t showed me reschedule option and after few days I spoke to direct airline they told me if your flight has been cancelled thoroughly airline side your money will be refunded within 7 to 10 days but wego app policy is that your money will be credited to your account after 90days this is unacceptable and I also sended email as well more then 4 times given the emails address but still no response this is called totally careless

Very bad experience with Wego. My flight was cancelled on 7th March, and till today (9th April 2026) I have not received any proper support. I have been trying to contact them, but there is no answer on calls and no reply to emails. I am still waiting for my refund. If this is the level of service, I would not recommend booking tickets through them
I submitted a refund request on the 19th of March. I emailed support on the 30th of March to follow up. No response! Chats keep on being closed and apparently my reference number is not valid.

I booked a room for 5 people through Wego and received full confirmation from the website. However, after checking directly with the hotel, it turns out the room they advertised only accommodates up to 4 people. To accommodate 5 people, I would need to pay a significant extra fee.
I tried contacting Wego for weeks via email and chat – no proper response. Their only suggestion was to cancel the booking and make a new one, without taking responsibility for the discrepancy or the additional cost.

I booked a flight and needed to cancel due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East — a situation the airline itself recognises by offering free cancellation waivers.
Despite the booking terms stating that "airline fees apply at the rate charged" — and the airline charging zero — this company refused to pass on that waiver and insisted I pay a cancellation fee. That is not honouring the terms as written.
When I raised this, frontline staff were unhelpful and unwilling to escalate. No resolution was offered.
If you're booking travel to conflict-affected regions, be warned: this company will not support you when it matters most. I am now pursuing this through my credit card provider and the relevant consumer authority.
Very disappointing experience with Wego.
My flight (Kuwait Airways) was cancelled 14 hours before departure with no assistance or rebooking. I had to arrange alternative flights for 6 passengers and pay additional hotel costs. Total losses exceeded EGP 170,000.
Wego’s support was extremely slow and unhelpful. After 6 days of requesting a refund, I was only told they would “check with the airline.”
I was never informed of my rights, including the airline’s obligation to provide an alternative.
To date, I have not received even the ticket refund.

I booked a flight and paid for extra kgs.. however on reaching the airport the kilos were not updated. I had yo pay 400 aed or throw my stuff away. I tried to reach the agency but there was no response... sent them an email asking for a refund because clearly this was a mistake from their side. Its been a week plus and not one has replied to me not even out of curtesy.

I had a very disappointing experience with Wego regarding a cancelled flight refund.
My round-trip flight from Amman to Sarajevo (8–20 March 2026) was cancelled by Pegasus Airlines on 5 March due to the situation in the region. Pegasus initially confirmed that the refund had been processed. However, I have not received any refund in my bank account to date.
When I contacted Pegasus Airlines, they directed me to Wego since the booking was made through their platform. Wego customer support then informed me that the refund was still pending from Pegasus. After further follow-ups, Pegasus confirmed that the refund had already been transferred to the agency (Wego), advising me to contact them directly.
Despite informing Wego of this update via email, I have received no response so far.
This lack of coordination and accountability between the airline and the platform is extremely frustrating and unacceptable.

You should check all the information before adding it to the website, Angkor Wat is a Cambodian temple not Thailand they do not own it. I hope they change it by putting the beach or any other beautiful place that is located in Thailand to help improve the quality of time for tourism and not make them expect it but cannot see it. Extremely poor experience with Wego.
No response on their hotline despite several attempts, and emails are either ignored or not handled properly. Even after confirmation from airline that Wego is responsible, there was zero effective support.

this is a formal notice regarding my flight booking made through the Wego platform for Flydubai (Dubai to Baku) and return also.
Despite my request to reschedule the ticket to 23 April to 25 April due to the current situation, no proper assistance has been provided. Furthermore, upon requesting cancellation, I was offered only AED 284 as a refund out of AED 1,910, which is entirely unreasonable and unacceptable.
Such a refund policy, especially under the present circumstances, raises serious concerns regarding unfair trade practices and lack of transparency. This conduct may constitute a violation of consumer protection regulations in the UAE.
Please be advised that if I do not receive a full refund promptly, I will proceed with formal escalation by filing complaints with the UAE Consumer Protection Department and the Department of Economic Development (Abu Dhabi), along with any other relevant regulatory authorities. I will also consider pursuing further legal action if necessary.
This email serves as a final opportunity to resolve the matter amicably. I expect a full refund of the total amount (AED 1,910) without any further delay.
Kindly treat this matter with the seriousness it warrants and respond immediately.
I booked a flight ticket through Wego spending around 500-600 AED. When I had to cancel, they only offered me 74 AED as refund after all their service charge deductions. That is less than 15% of what I paid!
Their customer service is a nightmare:
∙ Emails get ignored or they reply saying “contact us directly”
∙ Calling them wastes your money — minimum 10 minutes on hold until your balance runs out
∙ No proper support at all
My strong advice to everyone in UAE — DO NOT book through Wego or any third party platform. Always book directly from the airline’s official website. If anything goes wrong, you will lose almost your entire money in “service charges.”
This is not acceptable. People work hard for their money and Wego takes advantage of that with hidden charges buried in their terms and conditions.
Book direct. Stay safe. Avoid Wego.
they refused to refund although I bought the tickets which have the refund option bt they gave me silly excuses. I complained but I received a reply that WEGO is not licensed in UAE .
Booked a flight with Wego early February for March 4th. Due to Middle East situation I understand my flight was cancelled on March 3rd. The airline emailed me that my refund has to come from Wego. I have been calling (Egypt) WhatsApping, emailing, messaging on Instagram since March 3rd and no reply. Only the robot reply that says the same thing to resubmit the refund form which I have done 12 times and yet no reply. I will not use Wego again. So I wonder when I will see the refund when I can't even ger a reply. Ramadan & EID over now so everyone is back at work to reply. No more people stuck in the airports anymore so when is it my turn to get a reply ?
Terrible experience with Wego. They messed up my booking and completely ignored the issue, leaving me and my family—including my children—in a very difficult situation. Completely irresponsible and untrustworthy. I strongly advise against using this service.
