In August I booked a hotel through Wego ahead of a friends Wedding with a room for my wife and I, so that we could let our hair down and enjoy the day without one of us thinking we need to drive home. No problems with booking, received the confirmation. Great.

On the day of the wedding in a short interval I went to check in at the hotel only to find that the booking did not exist, therefore needing to make alternative arrangements. The hotel also confirmed that this was not the first time that they had customers who had booked through Wego only to be told there was no such booking. As I was at the wedding I left getting in touch with Wego for later and went to share the bad news with my wife.

Having contacted Wego support the following Monday to explain what had happened on arrival at the hotel and request a refund, the support chat opted to claim that I was a 'no show' at the hotel.

Overall the website was easy to use when booking, however by offering rooms at hotels you have no connection with and effectively accusing customers of lying as part of your customer service is truly appalling.

There is absolutely no way in which I can recommend using Wego.

I had booked a non-refundable ticket…

I had booked a non-refundable ticket from Riyadh to Amritsar through Wego.
When I requested to cancel, Wego refused to help and asked me to contact the airline directly.
I personally contacted IndiGo Airlines, and they kindly approved my refund of AED 358.

However, when Wego processed the refund, they deducted around SAR 90 as a “cancellation policy” fee — even though they didn’t assist in the refund process at all.

I had to do all the work myself, and Wego’s customer service was slow and unhelpful. It’s disappointing that they still charged a service fee for a case where the refund came only because of my own effort.

I hope Wego improves its customer service and treats customers more fairly in refund situations.

Wego advertise cheaper fare that they don’t actually have.

I purchase air tickets with TTN(kiss&fly) through Wego but they cancelled my booking because fare is more expensive than before. Same thing happens twice. I had to wait days to get refund. I looked at TTN website directly and there is no fare with the price I bought. They show more expensive fares. This cheaper fare have been on the Wego for months. Still there now.
Wego, you should not advertise the ticket that you cannot actually sell. I would call it fraudulent.
(Update) I saw more expensive fare (but cheaper than other sites) with a different route (but same date same destination) on Wego so I purchased. Several hours later they cancelled again with the same reason. Such a waste of time.

Worst Platform for booking ticket

Worst platform for booking ticket. IF I DIDNT CALL TO THE COSTUMER SERVICE I WILL NOT RECEIVE THE UPDATES about my flight.

NO NOTIFICATIONS TO PASSENGER FOR MINOR CHANGES.

First and last booking with WEGO.

Canceled flight without notice

Canceled flight without notice, no email or call, we arrived at the airport only to be told it was canceled. Hotels booked and we can't even fly there. Don't bother booking for them. Unreliable.
