Beware the w w scam sign up for a free trial and they get you to tick a box of small print taking your money for 6 months!
Stay away from them on line !
Do not join unless u want to pay even when you cancelled.
Customer services were rude and useless. Iv had to cancel all my pay pal as they have been taking £14.95 out of my bank for months.
And still want more!
Go to slimming world they are much better.

Really poor customer service.
I wish I had read the reviews before signing up to Weight Watchers. All what people say here is true. I read one comment about signing up with your partner: she could sign up for me, but when she tried to cancel, they hid behind data protection.
And of course it is true that their waiting time on the phone (which is the only way to cancel) is endless. I am now trying to get through; have been here already for over 15 minutes and it sounds like I have (at least?) another 15 minutes to go. I am already getting tired of the happy customer stories that they are letting you listen to while you are on the phone, because I have heard the same story already 5 times.
The phone is the only way to cancel your subscription. I basically found this a scam where they are abusing customer's rights.

You are only able to cancel subscription by ringing a number which goes through about 20 steps before you are put on hold. My french is poor, I have tried but get nowhere. It is ridiculous.

I wish I would have read these reviews before I signed, I did take a promotion, a few weeks before the close down due to COVID, I just went to a couple of appointments, which to me were a waste, then after six month they started charging me almost $70 a month, and I got the same answer other have received "It is in the contract"; I was never told that it worked that way, so they took my money.

Cancelled membership after promotion was over, didnt pay attention to my credit card invoice for a couple months and they were still charging me even though my WW account was suspended. Called them to know what is happening and they said it was my fault that i should have noticed it wasnt fully cancelled....They claim to be a decent company but its pretty close to be a scam.. dont give those thiefs any of your money

Do not take out joint membership! The really important bit of information they don’t tell you, is If you want to cancel your subscription you have to get your partner to cancel at the same time or they will take your money then hide behind data protection. This company do not care about anyone except taking your money. Does anyone know how to complain I have exhausted WW helpline they have just stopped communicating with me! It’s so wrong.....

In order to report how bad this app is I have had to give them one star. I have tried to cancel my subscription for the last 10 days but there is no where on the app to do it. You have to contact their customer services and it takes 20 mins for them to reply. Each time you type you want to cancel your subscription but it is not always possible to wait 20 mins and you do expect them to contact you but no you did not wait 20 mins therefor they say they have the right to take another months subscription and this is where it becomes a con.

Total scam. We signed up for WW France and they will never stop taking payments. They require you to call a number which never answers (0969 321 221) after the first time you call. The first time they transfer you and then the line goes dead. After that they never pickup which seems like you are sent to a call block number. We have been trying for 6 months and the bank says we need to close the account, which we have had for over 30 years, in order to stop the payments.
DO not sign up for auto payment unless you are prepared to do the same to stop. They will probably start sending credit threats after we do this. Terrible company.

They took £44-50 out of my account for nearly two years for me and my wife although we stopped going after 3month BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU SIGN UP AND VERY CAREFULLY READ THE SMALL PRINT AND LOOK FOR WW UK MAIDENHEAD CARD PAYMENTS IN YOUR BANK STATEMENTS

I joined WW for 3 months only, or so I thought! I told the lady whom I was speaking to at WW that I only wanted to try it out for 3 months. Do you think she told me that I needed to call up after that 3 months to cancel my subscription otherwise I would keep getting charged? Like hell did she! So I realised yesterday that I had been paying $77 for the last 3 months when I had only signed up for an initial 3 month subscription. I called WW and asked why this was happening and that I needed a refund. Like many on this website, all I got was some patronising employee on the other end of the phone, telling me that I should have read the small print and realised sooner from bank statement that I was still getting charged. She told me that she reads the small print on anything she signs these days, well woop do doo for you lady. But why should we need to read the small print for a company like WW? I would honestly think that we could trust them and that they would not try to scam us their customers for money. When I mentioned that my closest friend works for Channel 9 and that I will be letting her know about this, the lady on the other friend of the phone cut me off and told me that they have been investigated by Channel 9 & 7, and A Current Affair. This really says a lot about how this company operates and leaves its customers feeling doesn't it? Like they have been had, scammed and taken for a financial ride. Good on ya WW. I suggest you leave it to the customers to renew their subscriptions rather than this sneaky underhand way of getting more money. BAD, BAD, BAD.

My wife signed up with them for a monthly subscription of 12.50 per month and then after a year she wanted to stop. She wrote them an e mail telling them she no longer wanted to be a member and they should not take any more payments from her bank. She thought that would be the end of it and trusted them as they were such a well known brand. They continued taking the money every month and after about 10 months she noticed that the payments were still coming out. There was nowhere on the website to stop this so i wrote a letter for her which we posted but got no reply. however they continued to take the money every month and this week we have had to get onto our banks fraud section to have it stopped. They are a disgrace! Please spread the word so their thieving practises can be stopped.

Signed up to WW on 2nd October for 3 months. Or so I thought !! My subscription was due to end on 2nd January. I wanted this purely for 3 months. I just noticed that Ive been charged from 2nd January. Apparently its a recurring subscription and I should of read the small print! ok my bad, however, I called the customer services line today, spoke to Olivia, who sounded really uninterested, was really patronising and kept repeating I should of read the terms and conditions. Refused to raise a complaint. I called again as the number I originally dialled stated complaints and spoke to Helen. Helen was equally repetitive as if they are all programmed to state READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. Apparently they dont like people talking to them unless we are happy oh no. God forbid I should be unhappy! This is Weight watchers and they CLEARLY dont care one way or the other for the customer and feel they can do what they like, take peoples money willy nilly as god forbid they didnt read the small print!!! I feel after 3 months using WW totally and utterly astounded that they treat customers in this awkward, patronising and uncaring way. I was going to sign back up in a months time, but after this experience they can stuff it.

I've paid 3 months worth of membership at a meeting but then have been charged every month on a rolling contract ON TOP OF the 3 months paid in advance! I've been on the phone with customer services several times and been told it was my fault for not setting up the membership right. No offer of refund, apology or promise to fix it. They admit they've overcharged me but say it's up to my coach to sort it out.
Shockingly bad.

If WW was so convinced their plan was so good they wouldn't steal money from your account each time your plan runs out. They give no pre warning that they're going to remove funds from your PayPal account. They just take it. They are THIEVES. My local coach was lovely but I couldn't fit meetings round my shifts so I decided not to go back so I don't have any gripe with her. It's the thieving online accounts team I have issue with.
