Poor customer experience

Great customer service from Suzanne at Weirs in Dundrum. I had initially been in contact with her via email and she was fantastic to deal with. She was so quick and responsive to my mails. When I popped in to Weirs to collect my order she couldn’t have been nicer! I’m delighted with my order and equally delighted with the great customer service!

We picked our engagement ring today with the help of Rosie in the Grafton Street Store. She was so knowledgeable and helpful. I’d highly recommend making an appointment. It was a fabulous experience from start to finish.

We Recently had a wonderful experience picking out my engagement ring at Weirs, Rosie was our host, she made the experience so pleasant, she was kind, helpful and had a wealth of knowledge which informed us so much on picking out the right ring that we now treasure. It was so special and memorable.

I ordered my Omega watch online and the customer service couldn't have been more helpful.
I highly recommend Weir and Sons and I will definitely buy from them in the future.
The watch was shipped to me the following day.

On the back of a €500 service for my 23yr old Omega watch, which took 3 months, which I was made aware in advance, so that's ok. I wanted to keep the watch original so I ordered a rubber dive strap, was told it would be approx €500. When I enquired a couple of months later as to the whereabouts of the strap, I was informed it'd been lost in transit. Ok, these things happen. Reordered, 3 months later still nothing until I got a phone call from a very nice member of staff, saying there was still an issue with the delivery, but as soon as it comes in, Weirs would look after me on the price. Ok, appreciate that. 9 months after the service the watch stops, I bring it into Weirs, they tell me a week later that the battery needs replacing and wasn't covered under the repair warranty, unless they send it back to Omega UK. I decided against this, so they charged me €20 for the battery! Back to the strap.. they take my details for the 3rd time, and quote me approx €600 this time! They pretty much ignore me telling them that the previous salesperson had quoted approx €500! Following day, I get a call from another member of staff informing that the approx quote of €600 was in fact wrong, and the cost would be a whopping €900!
Got a friend in Switzerland to check the cost of the same strap, and he informed me it would be €300 plus free delivery. Thanks Weirs but I won't be back.

Bought an engagement ring here on the weekend. The service couldn’t have been any better, a big thanks to Jackie McDonald she was absolutely amazing. She knew every detail and made sure we were happy. She made us feel so comfortable with her and I’m glad we were able to share the experience with a lovely lady. Ring is absolutely gorgeous aswell. Worst ever customer service - I never experienced such poor quality of staff! Inexperienced, defensive and provocative staff that require massive amount of training to MAYBE bring them to the minimum required level to deal with customers.
