Disappointed to travel 40 miles to be told no vaccine despite confirmed booking

I was extremely disappointed to have driven about 40 miles to get my pre-booked and confirmed private COVID inoculation only to be told that the pharmacy had not been advised it was a private appointment and they did not have the necessary vaccine. I was told they should have it tomorrow and I could come at any time so long as I phoned in advance to ensure they had both the vaccine and someone to administer it, unfortunately I have no plans to visit Scunthorpe, and the sole reason for my visit today was for the vaccination so I will be forced to travel another 40 miles. I know my choice of vehicle and the price of fuel is not their responsibility but it costs me about 50p a mile for travel and I am going to have to free a further 2+ hours of my time to get vaccinated. I think this is appalling service.

Excellent

Excellent , used them for over 12 months now . Always reminds me two prior about reordering and tells me when my gp has authorised my order and when its on its way. Comes direct by post .

Well at Ashby Link are absolutely…

Well at Ashby Link are absolutely terrible, they are always late with prescriptions saying they can’t get the most basic medications-but hold the rest of your prescription to ransom. Their attitude when they make their never ending stream of mistakes is vile! No apologies, no trying to help you-just get over the fact you can’t have your life saving meds or anything else. AVOID!
