Helpful e-mail dialogue with the owner before ordering, when he agreed to adapt the standard layouts to suit our specific requirements, so we ordered two bespoke signs (at standard cost). Delivered promptly, well wrapped, with instructions and fixing plugs. Slate panels look good quality, the wording deeply engraved and cleanly painted. Installation was easy onto brick walls using our own epoxy resin to secure the fixing plugs, and some extra construction adhesive. A very smart outcome, we are well pleased!

The service was excellent - really helpful and accommodating. Really competitively priced.

Ordered a house number sign for a friend, lovely clear numbers and a classic clean design.

We received our new house number and are incredibly pleased with the quality and craftsmanship. Being able to see the design prior to order is a really useful tool on the website and is an accurate representation of the house sign we received. Bought a slate sign for the sum of £120 including delivery (not cheap by any means), was supposed to include fitting instructions and fittings. Received my sign and I am happy with the sign itself…. However no fittings or instructions were included. I emailed 3 times via their website and also the email address given on their answer machine - No reply. I left 3 voice mails - No reply! So in the end I complained to PayPal … the response was appalling - took 4 weeks to sort this out!!!

This company create quality signs but their customer service and communication is horrendous!! I’m sure that they will make excuses and likely will send a rude reply … don’t worry, despite needing some 3 further signs I will not do business with them again and I would suggest people to stay clear… you have been warned!

I recently purchased a luxury, high-end chalet in the French Alps, which I will be renting out to skiers in winter and using myself the rest of the year. It needed a beautiful new sign and I ordered it with Welsh Slate House Signs. Shaun was very patient with my endless questions about sizing and quality and how to fix it to the wall. It was a very big sign - 900mm wide! Needless to say the sign is as classy as the chalet, and looks stunning. My Belgian and English neighbours are very impressed indeed. I could not be more pleased. Really great service, delivered very quickly to my UK address and very well protected in its own frame, ready for me to transport to France. The Chalet looked a million dollars before - now it looks like two million dollars. Brilliant. Highly recommended.

We are still awaiting delivery of our sign after paying in good faith. twelve weeks now!
We have started legal proceedings against this company!
The reply issued by welsh slate is not true.
I have now had a refund after instigating proceedings. At no time has Welsh slate apologised or made any efforyt to contact me.
With regards to the address being wrong.. well no one else has a problem, i think i would know my own address!
DONT USE THIS COMPANY!

Excellent quality personalised House sign. Great quality Slate. Looks very professional. Engraved and painted brilliant. Website allows all types of fonts and sizes etc. Delivery took 2 weeks but these are all made to order. Packing was excellent to avoid any damage. Very pleased with sign. Communication with Shaun was great. Just email and he responded with my queries before I ordered. Helpful with fixing instructions. Would highly recommend for a very professional well priced sign.
