Took a bit longer than normal but we're not living in normal, excellent communication and signs looks brilliant and would use again.

Excellent product,ordered just before lockdown but Shaun kept us informed and got our sign to us when he could. That good we've just ordered another sign for our daughters house !!!

Great product and well made. From order to delivery took 6 weeks but this is acceptable due to Covid. The slate was very well packaged but still suffered slight damage on the corner of the slate. This was no fault of Welsh Slate House Signs but the Hermes delivery driver who just launched the parcel over the rear gate (all caught on our home security cameras). All in all, very pleased and would recommend.

waited almost 6 weeks for my order to arrive because of the C19 Virus, But when my House Sign did arrive it was Excellent well worth the wait, Would use them again

Very poor product, chipped and the white on the etched wording is not neat. Sent pictures and owner kept saying he hadn't received them. Then he said he can't respond due to Covid. Sent my last email to him and going via my bank to get the money back. Dishonest and not a professional.

Ordered a slate sign for my house around the time of lockdown. Website very easy to use, but I had a special request so e-mailed. They happily accommodated my request and despite the CV 19 situation, turned my order round in a very reasonable time. The craftsmanship in the sign and quality of the slate are fantastic. Sign looks great cemented into the wall by the gate. I would definately give them my hightst recommendation.

I ordered my sign for my sons 50th birthday to adorn his new Manshed come bar. He wanted the sign in Welsh. It is amazing, well made and very promptly delivered. Well Done Shaun and thank you

A very good website with a lot of choice and easy to navigate. We chose a classic design and were thrilled when it arrived as it is stylish and well-made. It was very well wrapped! The fittings were absolutely fine for purpose. We added a dab of Gorilla glue where needed and that was plenty. Thank you, we are so pleased with the look of our new house sign: it was worth the wait.

The house sign arrived in one piece with fixings and clear instructions on how to fix to the wall; a great tip about using paint on the ends of the fixings to indicate where to drill the holes!

Having had some building work done to my house I wanted a new house sign in Welsh slate which would be the ‘icing on the cake’, one which would be simple and understated. I was thrilled when it arrived as it was exactly what I wanted. The sign is now in place and looks great. The website was easy to use and will certainly use this company again. Thank you!

Be careful if you wish to use this sign supplier. Clearly, from some of the good reviews, the supplier sometimes gets it right. But I’m adding to the poor reports of this company. If asked, I’d say “avoid” or you could end up like me and the many other dissatisfied customers.
In brief, I am still in the process of trying to secure a refund on what was a shabbily produced sign without the fixings as promised on their website – reflecting many, if not all, of the points in the other 1 star comments. I have ordered a sign like this in the past for our previous address from another slate sign supplier (they produced an excellent sign, beautifully made and delivered as per their promise). But only because I could not find the details of the previous supplier, did I use Welsh Slate House Signs for his house.
I’m currently going through the process for refund as advised by Citizen’s Advice but despite confirmation of the appropriate letter having been delivered, I have received no acknowledgement and still await a refund. Added to that, I’m having difficulty returning the sign as the address on the website is not precise enough for Parcelforce to deliver (there are several addresses for the name “Penycoedcae” at that postcode). As Mr Palmer describes himself as a sole trader, he could live at any of these. How the Royal Mail managed to deliver the first letter might be down to the postman’s local knowledge. I also requested a returns label or advice on returning the sign but received no response to this either.
In addition to Citizen’s Advice, I have taken this up with the credit card company who are working in parallel to secure a refund.
A final point in this sorry saga: check trust pilot first before you buy on line!!

Impressed with very good website when choosing and ordering items but not with much else.

Sign arrived after 17 days following a Sunday order. Looks fine, some flaws in the wording paint work. With regards to the hidden wall attachments on the back, well there is absolutely no way this will work. Hopeless attachments, hopelessly shallow holes in which to attach pins, no glue supplied. Now need to look if we can drill holes and fix to wall with screws.

Not normally one to write reviews but Just received my house sign today and I must say I’m absolutely thrilled with it , it’s exactly what I wanted . Thank you welsh slate house signs .
