I’ve genuinely loved my experience with Wentworth Wooden Puzzles over the years. Their puzzles always feel incredibly special, from the moment you open the box to the very last piece. The quality of the wooden pieces is beautiful, the packaging feels premium, and the whimsical shapes make every puzzle feel unique and memorable.
Delivery to France has always been very quick for me, and every order has arrived smoothly, which is something I really appreciate. I also love that they refresh their catalogue several times a year with new designs and even new special cuts. It is always a joy to discover their latest collection.
What I also really like is that Wentworth puzzles make such lovely premium gifts, both for puzzlers and even for people who would not normally think of doing a puzzle. Everything feels carefully made and beautifully presented.
I recently ordered a personalised puzzle as well, and the whole experience was amazing. The process was quick and easy, the delivery was fast, and opening it felt really special. You still get that same premium care in the image, the puzzle, and the box, which made it feel even more impressive and personal.
Wentworth Puzzles is a brand that really stands out to me for its quality, creativity, and consistency. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a beautiful premium puzzle experience.

I’ve been doing Wentworth jigsaw puzzles for a few years now and I love them! Each of their collections follows the changing seasons and they’re a hit every time! Packages are always sent quickly and with care, and the quality of their wooden puzzles is a real bonus. I’m a huge fan!

We really like the quality of the wood pieces and the interesting shapes. We purchased a 250 piece puzzle and we found the photo on the cover to be very difficult to see the details. The choice of colors for the puzzle pieces with the text are poorly done, with blue lettering on top of blue pieces, etc. which makes it really hard to read, given the pieces are small. We had to use a large magnifying glass to see the photo on the box in detail so we could identify the pieces. Re-thinking the color choices would help to make the graphics more visible. And/or, as other puzzle companies do, include a larger poster size photo of the puzzle to make it easier to see.

I have added numerous Wentworth puzzles to my collection in recent years, and the shipments have always arrived quickly, considering they're coming to the US from the UK. The puzzles themselves keep getting better. They have broadened beyond the traditional landscapes and have all sort of amazing illustrations, challenging patterns, and fun graphics now. And I personally love that smoky campfire smell of a new laser-cut wood puzzle.

I have purchased Wentworth puzzles for many years now and they are my favourite brand. Made in Britain, high quality & feature real artists (not AI). Love the wooden smell, and finding the amazing whimsy pieces, every puzzle brings pure joy and I cannot recommend enough! :)

For very first time I found a damaged piece in my jigsaw when I started to sort them out. I contacted Wentworth customer service who were brilliant and told me what they needed and were very fast recreating and sending it to me. I am so pleased at their attitude to reducing waste as well -no sending puzzle back and asking for another etc

I am doing my first Wentworth puzzle - a 1000 piece puzzle. It is taking forever. But I have never enjoyed doing a jigsaw more. The pieces are not just all different shapes, they are different sizes. I thought "I'll just separate out the edge pieces first like I usually do." LOL that doesn't work.
I sometimes can hear the manufacturer's giggle mischievously as I find little tricks as I do it.
So the price - expensive. But if you think in terms of dollars per hour of fun, it is really a good value. So far I've never been bored with this one - it is just really enjoyable.
Another poster complained about the smell. To each his own, I freaking love it. It smells like wood - a good smell to me. And the pieces feel great when they fit together. So far, no false-fits.
Like I said at the start, I've never enjoyed doing a puzzle this much.

I have ordered two Wentworth Puzzles which arrived well packed and with a quick delivery time. Each puzzle has high quality wooden pieces that fit together beautifully, the pieces come in cloth bags and sturdy cardboard boxes - no plastic packaging. Customer service is responsive and very helpful with a small problem I had with one of the puzzles.
Highly recommend.

Very high off gassing of vocs in the wood, glues and varnishing of these puzzles.
We have noticed since opening and leaving the incomplete puzzles out our fresh air filter record has massively excellerated especially when we have closed windows (winter time)

1000 piece Snow Leaopard. Great puzzle. Really challenging. It took me some time to decide where to start and how pieces connected. It was not only the subtle tonal differences that created the challenge but also the repeats, which caused me to have to swap out pieces. Found the technique of joining the "C" shaped pieces to their counterparts first really helpful, plus identifying symmetry elements.

First, let’s be clear we love these wooden puzzles and have both bought and been given quite a few. BUT the other day we were given a 250 piece puzzle (as indicated by the box that had ‘250 pieces’ on it) that was clearly only 100 piece puzzle.
Contacted Wentworth and they said they’d need it returned. Sent a link for Royal Mail - well, that’s pretty useful for Oz isn’t it? Of course the Royal Mail didn’t accept an address in Australia - simply not worth returning it
Got the reply below but I’ve not got any email yet as if 1st March.
I should also add that we’ve had other issues too - a missing piece in another puzzle plus a splayed nub on one piece in yet another puzzle. Just not good enough QC

Last year, I purchased puzzles for my family, we all enjoyed putting them together and then we traded the puzzles to keep the fun going. We thought they were beautiful and appreciated (and maybe somewhat grimaced at) the unique shapes in the puzzle.
This Christmas, I was thrilled to see the Christmas Crackers puzzles. Since we're from the US, our extended family is not familiar with the Cracker tradition. For our family Christmas Eve gathering, 12 puzzles were handed out and opened. Immediately, young and old alike started to put the puzzles together - while we were still having dinner! I think my 11 year old great nephew and my 35 year old niece had the most fun! Everyone commented on how much fun they had and what a great idea it was to add the puzzles to our evening!
Thank you for giving us a memory to treasure!

I have just received my first puzzle!
It's so beautifully packaged in a lovely drawstring bag within a box with a picture of my beautiful puzzle. The puzzle was dispatched and delivered within a week along with emails on updates.
I can't wait to get started on my beautiful puzzle. I think this will be the first of many🤣
Thank you so much 😊

I have bought many puzzles from Wentworth over the years. Sadly, the company has started to rely more and more on Generative AI (labeled in their catalogue as such), thus charging a premium for jigsaws with AI slop images. Not only does this rob an artist of work, AI is hugely damaging to the environment (ironic, as WW boasts of their use of wood from sustainable forestry and recycled packaging!)
I won't be buying any more from them until they stop this unethical practice. Sad.

I've placed two orders with this company over the last week. The first order I sent as a gift to someone. During checkout there was no facility for me to add a gift message to the recipient stating who the parcel was from, nor any opportunity to add gift wrapping. As a result, even though the parcel was delivered the next day by Royal Mail (I paid for express delivery), the recipient hadn't a clue who had sent the parcel.
The second order was placed at 00:54 on the 12th December, and later that morning at 07:26 I received an email stating that my order had been despatched (again express delivery paid for) but there was no tracking number in the email. The email stated that I'd receive a further email from their delivery partner. However, I didn't receive an email from their delivery partner, so at 07:46 on the 13th December I sent an email to Wentworth asking for the tracking number, because there was no tracking number for this order in my account. (Nor was there any details of the parcel tracking number in my account for the previous order). As I'd paid for express delivery, I assumed that as my order had been despatched, I would actually be receiving my order on the 13th, so I waited in all day expecting a parcel delivery. However, no parcel was delivered yesterday. I couldn't telephone Wentworth yesterday the 13th, because according to their website, the customer service staff on a Saturday work at a remote location, and are only able to take customer orders and will have no access to look into queries about already existing orders.......this to me is a ludicrous way for a company to be operating! What I don't understand is why do Wentworth not put a record of a parcel tracking number against the order in a customer account? Surely this information is a very important detail of data that ought to be recorded for each order in a customer account.
I have evidently been lied to by Wentworth! Why inform me that my order has been despatched when it obviously hasn't?
There are glaringly obvious faults within their online ordering system. For a company that supposedly produce a quality product, they most certainly do not provide quality customer service or a quality online ordering service or experience.
UPDATE 15th December 2026. My order (order no: 1256996) was actually delivered this afternoon! I did not receive email with the parcel tracking number from Royal Mail until this morning. Given that I paid for express delivery, I've no idea why the parcel wasn't delivered on Saturday or even yesterday (Sunday) because Royal Mail did deliver another parcel to me on Sunday.
Box that they were packed in was too deep, with not really enough scrunched up paper to stop the jigsaws rattling around in the box. The small boxed jigsaw looks like a used product, due to the way it's been packaged with all the pieces loose in the box. The lid had actually come off, so the jigsaw pieces were all loose in the packaging. Fortunately, none were missing. Yes, I know that Wentworth do not use any plastic in their packaging (which I do applaud) but the jigsaw pieces could be put in a paper bag before being placed in the box. The design of the jigsaw box is terrible....the lid falls off too easily. At least all the jigsaw crackers that were in my order, have their pieces put in a small bag before the cracker is folded up, etc., so they do not rattle around and thus do not look like a used jigsaw.
Wentworth didn't reply to my email from Saturday, until this afternoon once my order had been delivered (along with a link to the tracking number and a proof of delivery photo).......rather like closing the stable door, once the horse has bolted. Customer service gavd no explanation as to why I didn't receive the tracking number on Friday, nor gave me any reason why my parcel wasn't delivered the following day on Saturday. Surely, if other carriers can deliver parcels next day at this time of year, then Royal Mail ought to be able to deliver next day especially when a customer has paid for that service. Wentworth do really need to add the order tracking number into a customer account, instead of relying on an email from Royal Mail.

Just received my puzzles and am very disappointed with them, I know they were coming in a drawstring bags but I never thought they would all be put in the same bag, I now have to sort and separate the pieces which is very annoying, I have bought several before and they all came in a separate box.
I expect they are saving money this way but this is ridiculous, First tine I have ever received puzzles in the same box. Will never buy from this company again.

As an update, following this review the company reached out, acknowledged the failings in customer service and as a result have sent a new and much more satisfactory puzzle. It is a shame it took a poor review to spur them into action but act they did and accordingly I have now raised the stars from one to three.
My wife purchased a personalised puzzle of a picture of one of our dogs who recently passed away. The colours are not true and customer services do not care! They claim that the colour is true but have made a white Bichon Frise brown.
Shame because we do like their puzzles but would we buy again? NEVER.

These puzzles are my guilty pleasure! Not inexpensive, but the quality is lovely and i view them as a collectors item and especially like the Christmas ones. I love the wooden pieces, the wood smell and the cloth bag the pieces come in. The boxes are robust and look great displayed on a shelf.
Like others have mentioned it would be handy to have a larger image of the puzzle available especially on the more detailed puzzles but I only buy the 250 piece puzzles as I like to sit and finish them in an evening.
A loyalty scheme would be handy for repeat customers. I only order puzzles when a discount is on and sometimes this means I don't buy when I would ideally like to which is a shame.

1000 piece Autumn Cottage puzzle is brilliant but why is there no picture included in the box. The picture on the box measures 20cm x 14cm when the box lid measures 25cm x 25cm. We don't all have the eyesight that we used to have.
