Best choice, very helpful to find what you need

I used WerskPot few times: an easy-to-use platform to get in touch with contractors for odd-jobs (in my case). You can choose your contractor according to rating and reviews, and that is why I also make an effort to rate jobs as well.

The service helps to find the right category for my ad. That's a plus.
Other than that it wasn't very helpful. It's very difficult to find help for small jobs. People just don't react on your ad. And it's unclear what to do next.
It would help if I could update or publish a closed ad again. Instead I can do nothing with them. Not even deleting. That's odd since there are photos any info in them I might want to remove.
So, the idea is nice but the implementation needs some improvement.

I hired someone to install 10 lamps on the ceiling. The person was professional and did a great job. Also a pleasant person. Will definitely stay in touch and hire the same person for other works.

Be careful on the choice of the person/company also if they have good reviews . Ask first the invoice and check if the job is well done , then pay the bill. Make clear agreements on the work and the expected result. Pay only after verifying if the job is effectively done as requested. This is my advice after using this site. My experience was not pleasant nor satisfying .

This is a very good way to find the right person who'll help you with whatever work you need done. They have very good filter depending on what you need. Also reaction time in finding candidates was pretty fast in my case For me it was very helpful in finding a person o help with Airco installation, which is not so easy to find in a country like the Netherlands (is not a warm country like Spain/Italy), so it's not very common think for Dutch people to have... Anyway, I am very pleased with Werkspot and I give it 5 stars.

When you have no contacts in a countries, services like are so helpful. The app is correct, the service providers are well rated and in general, it is great to have one place to go for fixings and fittings.

Really good website, provide a lot of options for all kind of specials.
I used it already few times and I was always satisfied.

They had a "pre-approved" or "checked" painter. I gave the person the downpayment and he disappeared. Never hear back. Tried to involve Werkspot and they just send you a standard email every time. They WILL NOT help you if you get in trouble so you are much more safe asking friends and neighbors for someone to do the job.

It was handy to find a Craftsman that has Reviews. Of the 10 invitations I shared re: the WC job, I received 4 credible Offers. Getting offers via other platforms, I often heard from people with no References, no "presence", five times the cost, and it's not handy if someone screws up your plumbing and easily disappears. Thanks!
