Terrible Customer Service

I’ve refinanced 3 times in my lifetime, and this has got to be the worse experience ever.

On 3/24/20, I reached out to Aaron Hoisington for a refinance. After submitting all required documents, I had some questions about whether I want to pay some of the fees up front or roll it into the loan. The response was “Why are you worry about cash – you have plenty!” I should have known then to run. Aaron said it was a “FastTrac” loan (45 days or less) – and almost 2 months later, we are no closer to closing.

Fast forward to May, I had already provided all required documentations and more in March – since it’s not my first rodeo – only for them to request for some missing documents. Oh wait, I already provided them with the documents they say are missing – yet, I complied and provided them again. I provided images of some documents – but that’s not good enough as they want it in PDF format. Again, I complied and printed those same images to a PDF file – and that satisfied them. Go figure.

Now the kicker. Trying to be proactive, I had ordered payoff amount from my current lender on 2 separate occasions (April and May) – however, both were not good enough as Lenox couldn’t complete the process before the payoff amount through date of 5/15/20. Juliette, his assistant, ask if I can order a 3rd payoff request because if she calls my current lender that she has to wait on the phone a long time and that it takes 7-10 days to receive it. Like my time isn’t important - guess what, I have to wait just as long on the phone (COVID-19 anyone) and delivery time is the same (I wish I had privilege access/service). Anyway, at least she asked, right? Aaron, on the other hand, forgot his manners – this is his demand: “Get us the payoff so we can close the loan” and a second time “Get us a copy quickly or we can’t close the loan.” You should have thought about that in March and ordered it then with a future payoff date that you can meet. Topping it off, I received this when I refused to order a 3rd payoff amount (it's not my job to order it): "the $500+ for a lock extension is not cheap and you don’t want to play chicken with my lock desk team when they choose who pays for the lock extension." So, I'm threatened with having to pay for a lock extension because they failed to do their job?

I will never do business with Lenox Financials again. I am beyond frustration and that’s an understatement. It's so bad that I decided to cancel my loan and eat the $460 Appraisal cost.

Very Easy to Trust

Mike and Gigi were very knowledgeable and professional. They made things easy to understand and “uncomplicated” the whole complicated process. Most importantly they were easy to trust. I would recommend them to anyone!

When I originally purchased my house…

When I originally purchased my house three years ago, the finance piece was an absolute nightmare. I was working with a banker and mortgage officer who collectively were never on the same page, had extremely poor communication skills, and did little to assist me through the financing process. Because of this, I was extremely gunshy to refinance, but I knew the rates were too good to pass up so I gave it a try. I can honestly say that Mike Rael of Lenox/WesLend Financial made ALL of the difference in the world. From our very first conversation, to our final email exchange, Mike has been amazing to work with. I have told all of my friends and family who are interested in refinancing how wonderful my experience has been and I attribute that to Mike's ability to connect on a personal level, to communicate effectively and efficiently, and his ability to explain the enter process step-by-step. Mike is an A+ guy and a genuine joy to work with. Thank you Mike!

Almost a 5 Star review—I have done multiple refi’s in the past…

I have done multiple refi’s in the past 17 years and I have to say Mike Rael started the process and past another lender I work with beginning in March. Mike had from 3-30-2020 to 4-30-2020 when it funded. This was the smoothest refi until the end when it came to some lenders credit I cancel signing then he gave some credit.Gigi Kyritsis processor was great.thank you Mike and Gigi. Max-Gardena

I had a very good exerience with…

I had a very good exerience with WesLend Finacial good service, and very professional. Mike Real was very courteous to my needs. He always kept me informed, and up to date with my loan prosses. Also on top of his professionalism, he was also almost like talking to a friend. Hey asked how me, and my family was doing in these hard times. we shared a fiew stories. I wold definitely recommend him as my loan officer.

Easy and Efficient Refinance

My refinance experience was exceptional! It went very smoothly from beginning to end. I was very pleased with the way my team kept me informed throughout the whole process. They made sure I understood what was going on and answered all of my questions promptly.

My experience was extremely positive

My experience was extremely positive. My credit was far from stellar and I wanted to give up on the process, that is where my Adviser came in and helped me along. He diligently guided me and I will be forever grateful. I saved over $600 per month. Thank you

Not sure who is writing these glorious…

Not sure who is writing these glorious reviews but they may be relatives of the employees!!!. My experience was nothing more than a frustrating adventure with what seemed was an unorganized support person (Katie Vu) who asked for same docs multiple times and also her superior (Armando) who has a slight problem with accuracy on what comes out of his mouth (he advised on finalization based on doing 3 simple things). Well , IT NEVER HAPPENED.

So, beware of doing business with Weslend/Lenox!!!

I tried to do a refinance and was…

I tried to do a refinance and was pretty sure my home would appraise for the amount I said it would. I had to pay for the appraisal--they said in my state it would be $700. I was charged $650 so I like the savings--except the appraiser fee as listed in the appraisal was only $500. That extra $150 is the money they make on doing rigged appraisals so that they never have to pay all those other closing costs. This is a pretty neat little scam they have going. And they won't respond to emails or phone calls, even when all I want is an official statement that this refi won't work based on the LTV because of a low-ball appraisal. I am not being unrealistic--the appraisal did not account for my owned solar panels that cost $28k. Steer clear of them--I am thinking of contacting my state's Attorney General office because I believe they are committing fraud.

Mike Rael did a GREAT job working our…

Mike Rael did a GREAT job working our loan application and sheparding it through the loan application process to closing. He was wonderful to work with. Wesland Financial in general did a fantastic job and I would definitely recommend both them and Mike.

This company does even deserve one star.! Stay way and save your time the appraisal money !

I have been in the real estate for some now and I dealt with many institutions by far the they are the worst!

Unreadable - unreliable - deceiving - they managed to unlock a "locked rate" to their favor and the blame it in human error -

Great Service

Everyone in the company was on top of…

Everyone in the company was on top of the process : from the agent, Brad Cejka, to the appraiser and the notary. The process was painless and quick. I also got a better deal than I could have from other lenders
