Amazing hire service, looked like all the equipment they gave me was brand new. Fantastic turnaround time and wonderful customer service!

Westmount Music's staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. They also delivered and put together the piano for us. I highly recommend them.

Despite original item being lost in post, these guys were as helpful as could be on sending replacement. Prompt, efficient service, excellent communication, nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend them.

I first visited Westmount about 4 years ago to buy my first guitar. I was so indecisive I spent almost the whole day there playing the guitar that I eventually bought (I only knew 3 chords at the time!) I even left and came back twice on the same day. Despite all this, Katie was very patient with me. She made me tea while I tried to make up my mind and she occupied my son by getting a left-handed guitar in for him to try too. She went well above and beyond the call of duty to make it a first-class experience. The aftersales service has been excellent too. Since then we have been back several times to buy various accessories as well as a ukulele, a banjolele (they ordered that one in for me within 24 hours) and most recently, an electronic keyboard. Paul and his staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and they always make me feel like my custom is truly valued. Their prices are also very reasonable.

Hi for anyone contemplating buying a guitar or other musical instrument look no further, I would just like to say that guitar arrived today as promised to my delight it’s just fantastic a credit to Crafter and to Westmount for the excellent service they provided throughout our correspondence backed up with photos sent of the guitar that I requested prior to purchasing many thanks to the team for the hard work in setting up the guitar as requested i.e. low action it plays really nice and looks beautiful a real stunner I can’t thank you enough, I must say overall it’s been a very nice experience from a trusted supplier.

I visited Westmount recently to buy my first guitar. I'd done some research on the web and found a few music shops in Bucks/Berks that seemed like they could help. After visiting them all, Westmount is the only one I'll be going back to. They offered incredible service and were super friendly and helpful. They spent time with me showing all the different options, explaining all the things I had no idea about and all in a kind and fun way. I walked away with my beautiful new guitar feeling confident that I'd bought the right one for me. I'd recommend them to everyone. Absolutely faultless.

I was looking for an acoustic guitar to start playing again after a gap of 40+ years and had been all over Denmark Street as well as to some big music superstores. I stumbled upon Westmount Music online and its owner Paul who emailed me one Sunday evening suggesting I take a look at guitars by Faith - a brand I'd never heard of which he had just started stocking. On arrival instore at Westmount Music I immediately spotted the most beautiful guitar - hand made and with a magically clear bright sound. The service I received from Paul and his colleagues was very efficient and supportive in suggesting all sorts of different options before I made my decision, and I have ended up with this fantastic guitar (Faith Venus ) that, as it turns out, is an industry prizewinner for best acoustic guitar of the year - as well as sounding much better than and costing much less than the £1000 models by famous American brands I was initially looking at. A total winner! Thanks guys !

Hired a PA from this company for our wedding. Service was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful and explained the equipment very well. They supplied us with spares of everything and helped load the whole thing into the car. Equipment was all in perfect condition, exactly suited for our needs. Highly recommended.

A friend of mine recommended Paul and his guitar shop to me, for i needed my guitar to be re-stringed and polished.
Uncertainly i entrusted my guitar with him and when he had finished, my baby looked brand new.
you could see the amount of time, effort and care Paul put into making my guitar look brand new. he is a top quality guy aswell. Admirable and respectable. If anyone is uncertain about handing your instrument to someone, so that they can repair it etc. i would undoubtedly recommend Paul.

I live in Marlow and I was looking for a guitar shop in Buckinghamshire last year on google to find there was one on my door step!

I remember phoning the shop and speaking to a kind gentleman called Paul he was extremely helpful in directing me to the shop which I found out was in Marlow Bottom.

I needed my guitar re-stringing and it needed a good set up too. The shop had great atmosphere and a good feel. The shop was extremely clean and tidy and instantly I felt I was in the right place. Paul and Katy were extremely helpful that day in helping me choose which strings were right for me and we interested in the fact I was at college and were willing to help me.

Since that day I have always gone back to Westmount and have been treated in the same way I was on the day I first walked in. I have been going to this music shop for two years now. Paul and Katy will always go out of there way to make sure all of my questions and worries about my guitars are always resolved and I always left feeling I have learnt or gained great knowledge and expertise from them.

I have recently played at an event which I set up myself with a friend from college as one of our college assignments, he too has used the shop and agrees that its the best in the area.

Before the gig I discussed with Paul and Katy that i would be having the gig and would need to promote it wherever possible. They kindly offered to put a poster up in there shop share the event on there Facebook page and even leave some flyers out to help promote our gig!

And if that wasn't enough the day of my gig I needed new strings on my guitar as I felt the ones I had last had put on weren't best suited. I discussed with Paul previously and we agreed if they didn't feel right he would change them free of charge! I spent the morning with Paul and even though he was mega busy that morning he made time to Re-String and set up my guitar to the absolute best of his ability and made me feel extremely comfortable about the gig I had ahead of me.

I would recommend this music shop to any one, the shop is friendly reliable and extremely affordable. You will always leave with more than you bargained for.

I trust Westmount music FULLY with my guitar and will continue to use them for as long as I live in this area.

I needed a piece of Sheet Music urgently for my sons school work, and could only find it on-line, and not available for download in the UK. I phoned several music shops in the area, and Westmount Music found the piece for me the same day.

I've since been in to the shop for various accessories, and all the staff are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I thoroughly recommend Westmount as a first stop for all musical instrument related needs!

I have known the owner and staff for a couple of years and they are an exceptional group of people, providing great service. The area has been under supported with retail music and it is great that these guys have done such a good job.

a local music shop that "feels" right! The lack of a decent local music shop has prompted me to buy my supplies online but Westmount Music is now the place where I can pop in and get what I need. They have a good range of well-priced equipment and the staff certainly know their products!
The coffee's not bad either!

I'm just getting back into guitar and as I'd heard of Westmount Music I though I would take the trip over to Marlow and have a browse around the shop. Wow what an experience, the staff are friendly and didn't make me feel like a complete 'newbie' (something I always dread when I go into a music shop) , the shop is jammed full of all kinds of instruments and there are some great offers on learning materials and sheet music. Just tried out their online guitar course - fantastic!

I haven't bought any major instruments from Westmount Music as yet, but I have purchased a few music books and accessories. They have ordered items so promptly and have informed me the minute they arrive. It's quicker than me scrambling around on the internet, the prices are keen and what's more, you can enjoy a lovely bit of banter with the delightful staff! It's a real gem and wonderful to have this resource on our doorstep.

I have bought several musical instruments from Westmount Music including a ukulele and an African Djembe drum. The staff are always friendly and helpful, happy to go the extra mile to make sure that everything is right. Prices are keen, too. My daughter is having piano lessons in the teaching room at the shop, she is really enjoying the lessons and they are very convenient and well-organised. A great shop!

Westmount Music have been so helpful, friendly and efficient. The instrument hire service is very useful. My daughter wanted to try classical guitar lessons, but I was reluctant to invest in a guitar that might only be used once or twice. The hire service gave my daughter the opportunity to borrow a beautiful guitar. We hired for six months, at a very reasonable price, before we decided to buy. The staff made the process very easy.

I had an important performance approaching and desperately needed a viola mute. Westmount Music was the only local business that managed to source the type of mute I needed, and then delivered it straight to my front door themselves! I then had trouble fitting the mute, as it was a new model that I had never tried before. I took it into their shop and they (although not being a specialist strings shop) managed to fit it, while being friendly and affable for my whole encounter with them. They are a lovely, family business, who will go the extra mile to help their customers. I would recommend them to anyone.

I have recently bought a digital piano from Westmount, and the help and advice they gave me when deciding which one to buy was superb. Their pricing was the most competitive I could find, and they delivered and assembled the piano just a few days later. Their follow up service has also been excellent.
