No service, No help, No good.
We purchased a 2017 Kia Sportage brand new from this dealership. It has been in the shop now for three months. The first two and a half months were just to wait and inform us that they would not honor the extended warranty that was purchased with the car. They quoted $5700 to replace the engine. Since this was less than our normal repair shop, I reluctantly agreed. One week later, they informed me that they also need to replace the entire exhaust system, for only another $4300. At that point, I wished I had our regular mechanic replace it. For an added bonus, they said it would be two more weeks before they would complete the work. I have another 12 month or 12k mile warranty which I now know is absolutely worthless. This is the second time they have held my car hostage for over three months. I write this not out of spite, but out of obligation because between the dealership and Kia corporate you have no means to obtain any level of customer service. I was prepared a year ago to buy a new Kia Sorrento. Now I will never buy another Kia and would recommend at the very least, thoroughly investigating the dealership if you do. Weston Kia has been criminal in their service and exorbitant charges for a vehicle under warranty.
July 1, 2025 you can see Weston Kia's response to my review. I will try to call them. I have communicated almost every week for the past three months. I will date and report my results. UPDATE. I called and they said they are "Unavailable to take my call, or its is after hours." It is 2:15pm.
