Called in here to look at used cars. Kareena was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, spent time allowing me to test drive three different cars. Unfortunately despite the good deal I was offered I wa... See more

What a lovely experience I had coming…
What a lovely experience I had coming to this dealership I was welcomed! I was helped by Elise and she was absolutely brilliant she explained everything that I needed to know, she was patient and cheered me on every step of the way! I felt supported and heard. Would definitely recommend 👌🏽
Just purchased a car from West Riding…
Just purchased a car from West Riding Bury. Was dealing with Waheed Adam. He dealt with the sale and handover, Waheed was brilliant. Will definitely recommend.
Lovely welcome from the staff my car…
Lovely welcome from the staff my car was efficiently serviced.Been using West Riding Colne for a number of years we used to deal with VW but they got very expensive. Here at Colne there’s reasonable prices and good service plans and you’re not ripped off.
Better late than never!
This should have been written as far back as September (2025), but l’m sure it’s been worth waiting for!
I went to Hyundai Bolton intending to replace my ‘63 reg Hyundai i30, with a late model petrol engine Hyundai i20. From start to finish, l dealt with Paul W. Whenever l buy a car, l like to what is commonly called ‘haggle’ and Paul was prepared to play the game. My initial plan to buy a used car was quickly shelved, as l was convinced - rightly by Paul - that it would be cheaper buying a new car as l qualified for the discount ‘Affinity Scheme’, due to my career. In addition, Paul and his Sales Manager Craig, agreed to provide a free spare wheel (my mantra is: No wheel, no deal) and a couple of other ‘sweeteners’. I got, what l believe, was the deal of the decade. Not surprisingly, l was very happy with the deal; that said, Hyundai still ‘won’, making a healthy profit out of my purchase. But, isn’t that the art of good salesmanship; letting the customer think he’s won, when all the time he hasn’t? In fact, so good was Paul a salesman that a month later, l went back to the showroom and helped my eldest daughter purchase a Hyundai Kona (again a good deal, but sadly not as good as the one l had got!). A very enjoyable experience. Let’s hope the after sales service is as good if l ever need it.
Elise
I had the privilege of being dealt with by Elise rimmer she was first class her professionalism towards her job was second to none and also her flexibility and work ethic was top tier no job to big or to small she worked tirelessly to find me the correct car to suit my personal requirements as she has previously done with my mother and father and also a good friend of mine in which have all said she did a brilliant job. Throughout the whole process of browsing and searching for the right car she certainly made it so much smoother and easier for me particularly as a young person from talking me through everything and making the process clear. Certainly deserves nothing but praise
Thank you
Westriding Hyhundai Colne
Westriding Hyhundai Colne.
I recently bought an 18 months old 1 owner Hyhundai Tucson hybrid from Westriding Hyhundai Colne. The problem i have with my car is that the bonnet has micro blisters covering approx 2 square feet in area under the paintwork which can both be seen and felt with your fingers. Looking from a distance they are hard too see. This doesn't alter the fact that they are still there and look a mess. When I took the car back to the dealership for them to examine they acknowledged the problem, took photos of the milage, vin number, reg, etc along with actual photos of the blisters themselves. After a week or so they contacted me and advised me that to rectify the problem would cost me £600 +. I obviously refused point blank and said that I wasn't going to pay anything and that I wanted it sorted out under the cars 5 years warranty, which obviously still has quite a long time to run. Their answer was that they had contacted Hyhundai UK and that they said that it's not covered by their warranty. You can just imagine how i now feel being the owner of a car that cost me just under £28000 with this problem. When I decide at some point in the future to part exchange my car again i can imagine having what I'm allowed in PX being reduced quite heavily if they pick up on this paint problem. The Customer service that I received from Westriding Hyhundai Colne dealership has been abysmal. no sentiment whatsoever to their customers. As regards ever dealing with this company again I certainly will not. I will get my servicing done at another Hyhundai dealership not too far away from where I live and has really excellent customer service satisfaction reviews. Reading the many other online negative reviews about the Westriding group there seems to be a general lack of customer service experience from other customers that happen to have issues with their car's. Not at all a good experience, stay clear.
Personal and professional service…
Personal and professional service delivered to a consistently high standard by Millie and her colleagues.
It takes me over an hour to drive to this garage for my car’s annual service but I would never consider going elsewhere
Fantastic service for the Service Team…
Fantastic service for the Service Team at West Riding Colne; could not fault them at all.
The staff are very professional and polite.
From booking your car in with the administrative staff to collecting your car they are transparent with the advice; explaining what they have done to your vehicle.
Diane the service advisor is an asset to the company; she has empathy with customers and goes that extra mile to fulfil your needs.
Would highly recommend the company to others.
Sold a shed on wheels
Sold a shed on wheels with multiple faults since I’ve drove it off the forecourt. Went in and spoke to a sales rep called Connor who’d sold us a Hyundai Tucson 2020. On the test drive a fault appeared which I mentioned to Connor. He said he’d get it fixed and assured us that the car has a full service history and had recently had a full service by them. Within 5 days an engine fault light appeared snd in the four or so months since then I don’t think I’ve had a week without an engine fault light. It’s been in the garage multiple times since and I’m never any closer to getting it rectified. They’re not small faults either. I’ve asked multiple times for the service history and it would seem there isn’t one. They never even give it a full service like Connor had said. So potentially this car with multiple faults has never had a full service. They never return your calls when they say they will ring back. My advice is do not use these to buy a used car. I must be a fool for not rejecting this car. I’m still considering this and potential legal action. I forgot to mention within the first 4 weeks of these numerous attempts to rectify pre-existing faults they’re calling me repeatedly to try to upsell me another vehicle despite me telling them not to. It’s a farce
Excellent Service – Highly Recommended Bury !
I am extremely pleased with the outstanding service I received from Waheed at West Riding Hyundai. Waheed went above and beyond to help me get my new car, even coming in on his annual leave and days off to support me through the process.
He was incredibly patient, professional, and helpful, guiding me through all the paperwork and documents step by step and making everything clear and stress-free. Thanks to his dedication and commitment, I successfully got my new car, and I couldn’t be happier.
I am very impressed with both Waheed and West Riding Hyundai. This level of customer service is rare, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new car.
Great dealership to buy from
Oliver who sold me the car was awesome. Very informative and helpful, and managed to turn the sale around in two days.
First Time Buyer
First time buying a car from a dealership and I can say it was a pleasant, informative and relaxed experience.
Waheed has been professional, courteous, friendly and fantastic through the whole process.
Waheed has answered all my questions, helped with concerns and gone that extra mile to help me.
I would highly recommend the service to anyone out there without hesitation - West Riding Hyundai Bury.
Waheed is an asset to the company. I can't thank him enough for his time and assistance.
Courtesy Car Insurance
Review concerning branch in Bury which is currently not listed separately on Trustpilot.
Ioniq6 taken in 2 weeks ago for warranty work and courtesy car collected.
However map fault still present after reprogramming and a new fault created concerning front passenger seat heating controls.
Therefore car booked in again for repair and courtesy car requested. Check-in email however suggests I need to pay £10 for courtesy car insurance. Never heard of this at a main dealer before, this wasn't mentioned when car was booked in and I wasn't asked to pay it two weeks ago. Just spoken to the service team and queried it, I was told it was a new charge introduced this week. I pointed out I didn't get told about this when I booked the car in but after speaking to the service manager they were adamant I would have to pay it or arrange my own insurance (it's a company car!). I declined and cancelled the repair so now for the sake of £10 they've lost a customer and the repair fee, earned a bad review here and will now have a technician kicking there heals tomorrow. Not great business sense and really poor customer service. I wouldn't have had to go back if it had been fixed properly in the first place. When will the motor industry ever learn.
Misleading Sales Practices and Refusal to Cooperate
Please note that this review is for the Bury branch of West Riding, Hyundai.
I have been a satisfied customer with Blackhorse for several years, using their Personal Contract Plan arrangements without issue. This was my first experience with West Riding Hyundai (Bury), and I regret to say it has left me with a deeply troubling impression of their ethics and honesty.
During the sales process, I was explicitly told that my vehicle would be supplied under a Personal Contract Plan (PCP). This was a key factor in my decision, as a PCP arrangement provides flexibility and the option to return the vehicle at the end of the contract term without further obligation. Given my positive experience with Blackhorse's PCP products, I felt confident proceeding.
Upon receiving my contract documentation (sold by BCC Cars, formerly West Riding), I discovered the vehicle was actually financed through a PCP personal loan. This fundamentally different product locks me into full payment obligations with no option to walk away. This is a material difference from what was represented to me.
When I raised this discrepancy with the sales team and requested an explanation for why the contract differed from their original representation, they refused to cooperate or provide any clarification. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this, I received no response.
This experience demonstrates a concerning pattern: misleading information during the sales process followed by a deliberate refusal to address legitimate questions. The presentation of one product whilst executing another appears designed to lock customers into unfavourable terms they did not knowingly agree to.
I would strongly caution prospective customers to verify all contract details independently and seek written confirmation before proceeding. The Bury Hyundai dealership's lack of transparency and unwillingness to engage when issues arise are serious red flags that speak to their overall business practices.
Terrible experience after buying second hand I30
Recently we bought a second hand I30 through Paul. My wife and I were very complimentary about the sales process as we never felt pressurised but this was short lived as two of the agreements we made were not fulfilled (1) we were promised that all the surface scratches would be removed but it never happened and they had to send a mobile operator to our house to complete and (2) we were promised new mats for the car but after signing the sales agreement Paul backtracked and promised to send after-market mats out afterwards (have email confirmation). A month has passed and we are still waiting and the dealership never answers or returns our calls. Definitely a case of securing a sale and putting two fingers up at you. Avoid…..shoddy car salesman
Customer service training required
Unhelpful, uncaring, non-understanding, wouldn't recommend to anyone.
Good experience, helpful team
We arrived to the dealership at 3pm on a Sunday.
Teisha was our salesperson.
We received information about the car and were able to take it on a longer test drive.
After that, she answered our questions in the office.
They stayed open a few extra minutes to help make sure everything went smoothly.
Thank you
I am so sorry to hear George Bedford…
I am so sorry to hear George Bedford problems. I have been dealing with the Colne branch now for more than 10 years and without any issues. Courtesy cars are not always easy to provide and I normally make suitable arrangements. If the total waiting time for a courtesy car is around 12 weeks, then how serious is the problem?
Elise and Ben were very professional
Elise and Ben were very professional, friendly and efficient. Elise worked to our very tight schedule and we had the best handover we’ve ever had - Elise showed us everything. All staff at the garage were friendly and polite. Super happy with the car. Every though we live over 2 hours away it’s where we’ll come for our next car to get such a superb service.
I have had an enjoyable experience…
I have had an enjoyable experience buying my new car - something I thought I would never have the opportunity to express. Waheed, who looked after the whole process, has been brilliant; courteous, extremely professional, personable and friendly. Even offering his time and advice on his day off. I would, without hesitation, recommend the service I've had at Bury Hyundai. Again , I cannot praise Waheed enough. Thank you! Heartfelt regards, Emerson Daniel
