If I could rate 0 stars I would, appalling service my tumble dryer has been broken since 24th of Feb 4 bookings later and it's still not fixed I've complained and was told the engineer should call you and it should be fixed well suprise suprise no call and no engineer either , complained again today and spoke to a useless rude call centre person and all they could do was rebook for the 5th time next week
Avoid where ever possible, shocking service they clearly don't care about the customers or service

£4000 cooker destroyed by Whirlpool
I have a £4000 Rangemaster range cooker that Whirlpool have managed to destroy with their total ineptitude.
I booked a repair through GoAssist (a shocking company that I recommend be avoided like the plague) and Whirlpool were tasked to carry out the repair.
Over a period of 5 months and several visits the 5 ring induction hob now has no working rings (the original fault was 2 faulty rings) and the top glass is cracked right through.
After a 3 week investigation I have been told that the engineers have denied all knowledge of causing any damage and they seem unrepentant about the fact the hob is now completely unserviceable.
I am appalled by the ‘service’ from Whirlpool and the follow up actions have been woeful.
I will now be consulting a solicitor about how to resolve the situation.

Absolutely appalling
Absolutely appalling. Can’t get through on phones, automated service then told to call back when lines are not so busy. Which they always are. Tried 6 times in 2 days. Emailed them, the email advised to call or try Facebook. Tried Facebook, told to call. No one is bothered. The live chat is even worse I’ve had the worst service and attitude ive ever experienced in my life on the live chat!

7 weeks and still not fixed
Booked a repair in Feb as freezer wasn’t freezing. Came out and did something. Freezer the same.
2nd time out said the freezer isn’t freezing so the fan won’t work. Yes I knew that which is why they came out in the first place. Still not working. 3rd time out they can with the wrong parts so need to book a 4th visit a week later.
The service has been non existent as the engineers don’t seem at all qualified in what they do as a simple job is turning out too difficult for them. Over a month has passed and still not fixed. I have no choice but to use them as it’s part of my insurance plan. But avoid if you can.
Update. 4th visit today and guess what? The wrong part again. Unbelievably bad service.
5th visit from these clowns has to a record for bad customer service.
The number they give you below to resolve any issues is a waste of time as I spend 2hrs going around in circles and eventually gave up.

Very poor service
Despite confirming by text and email, engineer appeared on wrong date, and almost impossible to communicate with company. No engineer arrived on booked date, online assistant claimed I was wrong (when I obviously was not going to book when I was out at work). Avoid

Whirlpool repair service Ireland poorest ever experienced
Booked a repair 5 weeks ago to get my whirlpool washing machine looked at. The part took two weeks to arrive. Yesterday the installer company did a rush job forgot to attach the main drain pipe properly. Set my whole wash room under water. Never returned forcing me to get a paid emergency repair service out. Never buy from Whirlpool. Poorest quality and poorest after sales service I have ever experienced.

Totally shocking customer service from…
Totally shocking customer service from Whirlpool. My washer has been broken and I first contacted you on 16/1/23 to repair it through my insurance. You were unable to repair as it needed parts and the parts were out of stock. Fast forward to today , after many messages from me I finally had information the parts were in and an engineer would be attending. I was given a 3 hour time slot and just as the time was coming to the end you cancelled my appointment with absolutely no explanation!!! The next appointment you gave was another week away. This is totally unacceptable. I have been without my washer for over 4 weeks already. I have cancelled all my insurance policies with you and now had to buy another washer. It’s not a Whirlpool!!!!!
I have been unable to actually speak to someone regarding this , apart from the man who rang me yesterday. I am giving him a 0 star for his customer service. The online chat doesn’t allow the service needed and no one answers the phone!!!

Atrocious Whirlpool-Hotpoint Service Received-Appointments not being kept.
For the SECOND time Whirlpool service has cancelled the arranged Engineer visit appointment ON THE DAY it was due to take place. Whirlpool Booked Appointments not kept on 26-01-2023 & 02-02-2023. Now received a text message saying appointment is now taking place 12-days later!!! (third time lucky???). Appliance now been out of order for 4-weeks since booking repair, so if the Engineer does turn up on the 14-02-2023, it will be nearly 6-weeks since I first contacted Whirlpool and booked the repair. Tried to contact Whirlpool by phone on many occasions to talk to someone but NO ONE EVER answers you just get cut off by an automated message telling you to ring back later OR "to go on line" to sort out matters, by this does NOT work either. Tried to complain to Whirlpool but again NO ONE answers, you reach the same "firewall". Whirlpool state that you can ONLY complain by writing a letter and posting it to them, seriously in this day and age!!!
Whirlpool have wasted a lot (many hours!!) of my valuable time and caused great inconvenience by not turning up and cancelling appointments at the last minute. Absolutely shameful/totally inadequate repair service, NO BODY ACCOUNTABLE and NO BODY to speak to. In the past I have purchased MANY Whirlpool products, but NEVER again, simply put "Buyer Beware"!!! Hopefully someone in a SENIOR management position in Whirlpool will see this review and have the courtesy to contact me quickly and sort out their mess. I will be elevating this complaint to the Consumers Association if I do not receive a response from Whirlpool in next 24-hours.

Ikea phone line does not work - customer service team do not have any other options.
Trying to contact them about an Ikea appliance that does not work. Ikea uses this service for their 5 year guarantee. The only way to contact is via 0207 661 1517. Try the line, it just goes to "Line Busy". Tried it several times using both (0) and (+44) prefixes throughout the day and still does not work.
Their customer service team were unhelpful, just said I need to call the number.
Upon calling Ikea and asking to be put through to them, the line worked. To which, the agent told me that their servers went down that day. That's fine, but they need to communicate this on their non-IKEA guarantee phone lines.
I live in a crowded HMO with no induction hobs in the middle of a winter cold snap, repair is urgent, but there is no urgency on their end as long as their processes are followed, even if there processes don't work.
Update 1 26/01/22:
An engineer was sent to us on the 25th of January - 2 days later. Sounds great.
The engineer said they could not find parking in my driveway, which is right on the A205 with space for 5 cars with only 2 other cars parked in the driveway.
The engineer also apparently tried to call me at 8.25am, for which there are no missed calls on my phone.
Upon trying to reschedule and when faced with the evidence above the customer service team were hostile. My suspicion is the company has a policy against admitting any wrongdoing over the phone. Leaving their customer service team scared when any calls come through where they could admit wrongdoing.
They also did not offer a way to make things right. Their position is that it is a "he said she said" situation. Except, it's not. I have CCTV that shows no work vans trying to park in my driveway on the morning of the 25th of January. I have no missed calls on my phone from anonymous numbers at 8.25am. I do have a call on my phone at 8.50am which I picked up and had a conversation suggesting I did have phone signal.
For now, we are rescheduled for Saturday the 4th of February, 1 week and 4 days after initial contact.

appalling
appalling. claim through D&G for oven repair. Whirlpool portal simply doesn't work. They text to say to log in to book the repair as the spare part is now in so I attempt to do so - putting in my details - name, postcode, reference nos etc and it just hour-glasses for ever. So i cannot book my repair. embarrassingly awful - How can a huge concern like this have such a bad site that clearly has not been designed right and does not work ?
AND - you cannot make contact by phone - their awful phone system just loops you round and round and then says it cannot help- go online !
Even worse since their silly reply today ! As I said in my review - it is impossible to make contact online , by phone, live chat - no way at all. They have texted me a repair date now so fingers crossed they’ve get the part right this time - I have tried to change the date but , of course, their booking app doesn’t work ! So I’ll stick with the date given

Bought Indesit I2D81WUK B Rated 8Kg from AO. One week in and the dryer just stoped working. The nightmare started then. I will keep the review short. After hrs on the phone with Whirlpool the engineer was canceled from their site without even notice. That is after a month without dryer and with a little child.... they lied on the phone, over the chat. They talked about parts, confusion etc. This is the worst company i've honestly dealt with my entire life! Wow. Please read the reviews and dont buy from this cowboys. I wouldnt even attempt to discuss their customer service. Agressive, dishonest. "Nothing we can do sir", and close the chat. Do not even entertain the idea to buy any of their appliances. Warranty is just a mirage. Even AO felt sorry for me and are replacing the dryer.
Never, ever, ever buy Whirlpool! The bad reviews are for a reason!
Horrible company and customer service…
Horrible company and customer service staff are incompetent!!
What a incompetent company
What a incompetent company, they recalled my tumble drier , waited 10 day to have the option to refund or replace , after finally get the option nothing is working in their website, sent severam mail , got one with finally a phone number and the number is not working .
I have no word for this , 10 days without drier and now inhave to wait another 10 if I'm able to resolve this . Just stupid !
Unable to get a Whirlpool/Hotpoint engineer for 3 weeks
Freezer stopped working on a 1 year old Hotpoint fridge/freezer, 3 weeks before Christmas. Booked an engineer online as it was the weekend, online available dates were at the end of the year! Tried to speak to somebody which is impossible, if you already have a booking it takes you into an automatic spiral to only cancel/amend or hang up! Tried numerous numbers for Hotpoint/Whirlpool/Domestic General but all came back to same loop. Cancelled online booking. Would also like to cancel extended warranty as it is not worth the money it is printed on, but I'm unable to speak with anyone! Hotpoint service used to be so good, not any more.
Microwave failure
Bought a new Indesit (part of the Whirlpool group)microwave in July. The door refused to open after just 2 weeks. Since then there have been 2 visits by engineers to fix same. The first "repair" lasted 5 weeks. I reported this and advised that the next visit to repair the door should include replacement parts (my wife strongly believes the microwave itself should be replaced!). The next visit was cancelled on the due day because of technician illness(OK this happens and is just unlucky). The technician has just turned up with no parts and advised that a new door is needed...arghhhhhh!! Now I've just received a text to advise that the parts aren't available and that I'll be advised when they are; no date when this might happen has been given! OK so take my advice (and that of others) and go elsewhere for your white goods
I bought faulty whirpool dryer which…
I bought a whirpool dryer which stopped…
I bought a whirpool dryer which stopped workign after 6 months electric cicuits not heating strange noise. I had 3 repairs and its still not working no refund not replacement during the warranty. Dont buy anything from them scam worst dryer I ever had !! Very upset have a new baby and no way of drying clothing. Keeps fobbing off sending people to look and come back a week or 2 later with wrong parts ! Going on 6 months now no dryer waste of money
Flood alert
Having waited 3 months for my fridge freezer to be repaired under warranty after it began to leak the engineer attended yesterday and supposedly fitted the parts that would prevent it leaking. However rather than it preventing it leaking the engineer visit has massively exacerbated the situation to the point where I can not contain the leak. I immediately cold this morning to state that the kitchen was now flooding even though I die isolated the water it continued and they informed me they couldn't send out an engineer for 11 days. This fridge freezer is valued at over £2,000 and the customer service is shocking you can't raise a complaint without writing in via the postal service. I don't see how that is even legal and the fact that I spent an hour saying to somebody and explaining that over 5000 l of water will escape between now and the 11 days and their response was just we work off a live diary that is the earliest and engineer can respond which I would understand if it was an issue caused by myself or even the fridge freezer failing but the leak has been caused by an engineer visit and now I have to put up with my kitchen flooding because of their engineer and there is no movement and no attempt to try and resolve the situation.
