I recently purchased a property through Whitegates and wanted to thank Ahmed and the entire team for their excellent service throughout the process.

From the initial viewing through to completion, everyone was professional, responsive, and helpful. Ahmed kept me updated at every stage, answered any questions promptly, and helped make what can often be a stressful process feel much more straightforward.

The team were always approachable and proactive, ensuring communication between all parties was maintained and that everything progressed as smoothly as possible. Their customer service and attention to detail were greatly appreciated.

Helpful good communication

After signing up for the rental, I was able to move into my rental property very quickly. Everything was handled efficiently and professionally.

We worked with Hana to sell my wife's house and she (along with the rest of the team) was amazing.

It ended up being a long and complicated sale with one buyer pulling out and difficult solicitors but her customer service never dropped throughout and she was always a pleasure to speak to and work with.

She was always willing to go the extra mile whether it be contacting the buyer or the solicitor on our behalf to check something if we were worried, or answering our questions and listening to us vent.

If anyone is planning on selling their house Whitegates Dewsbury are a good choice. Both times our house went up for sale they found a buyer in 2-3 months.

I have used Whitegates as my letting agents for a number of years and they have always provided an excellent, professional service. They have regularly advised concerning any issues with the property and have found tenants swiftly avoiding any long void periods. They have also acted in the sale of my property with the same level of expertise and commitment. I cannot commend them highly enough.

We recently sold our property through Whitegates Dewsbury and the service we received was outstanding from start to finish.

A special thanks goes to Hana Iqbal, our sales negotiator, who was absolutely relentless in chasing various legal teams, resolving queries and keeping the process moving forward. She was always positive, responsive, extremely helpful and such a pleasure to deal with throughout. Her commitment really made a huge difference.

We’d also like to thank Bee Azam, the office manager, who went above and beyond right from the start — taking the time on a weekend to appraise the property and even listing it on a bank holiday to avoid delays. He was approachable, knowledgeable and very friendly, and even stepped in to help smooth things over with legal teams (which goes far beyond the role of an estate agent).

Overall, the whole experience with Whitegates Dewsbury was seamless and very professional. We couldn’t be happier with the service, and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking to sell their property.

I had a very disappointing experience with a staff member at Whitegates’ Dewsbury branch. I called several times to speak with Ikra, who had been consistently polite and helpful throughout my application process. Unfortunately, I was met with rudeness from a male staff member (who claimed to be the manager). He refused to give his name, spoke over me, raised his voice, and was generally unprofessional during the call.

I detailed this experience by submitting the contact form to Whitegates and followed up after receiving no response. This was because the individual I had the issue with identified himself as the branch manager, and I felt there would be little point in directing the complaint to the very person responsible for the behaviour. I believed that raising the matter through the main Whitegates website would ensure it reached the appropriate team.

It has now been over 15 days without any acknowledgment or reply, which I find unacceptable for a company of this reputation.

It’s a real shame I felt compelled to leave this review, as I was genuinely impressed with the service I received from both Imran and Ikra. Their professionalism stood in stark contrast to the conduct I encountered on that call.

Edit: After posting my review, the manager called me on a no caller ID number. He identified himself as the manager and began speaking, but when I tried to speak, he told me: “Listen, shut up.” I immediately ended the call. He rang me back straight away, but I chose not to answer.

I’m absolutely appalled by this behaviour. If the manager had simply shown humility and apologised, I would have happily removed this review. Instead, this interaction only confirmed the lack of professionalism I initially reported.

Bee and his team at Whitegates Dewsbury did a fantastic job.
He did the valuation on the Friday morning, took all the photos and had it live and on the market by 4pm that same day.
My house was sold Stc by 2pm the next day. That's less than 24 hrs from listing it to selling it !
The communications with them all the way through have been great , they are quick to respond to any queries or questions and are very friendly too. Highly recommend them .

Very basic knowledge of the property market. They have no idea on how the property market works and advise vendors incorrectly.
Update: The manger rang me to discuss this and was defensive! Complaining about how my review is 'fabricated'. He had no interest in understanding my concerns, didn't let me speak and kept shouting. I eventually hung up as I couldn't be bothered dealing with such unprofessionalism. This is a legitimate review and when a complicated proposal is made, they don't have the ability to understand it and execute it.
Their words to me was 'We don't want to be part of this'
My proposal was fair, legal and advised by knowlegebale people in the industry.

We dealt with both Ikra and Abdullah and they made the process super easy. From showing us around to getting everything sorted and signed they were really helpful and answered any questions we had. Would highly recommend!

The staff are rude and arrogant.
The lady I spoke to was very rude and condescending.
Promised to call me back then didn’t.
When I rang back and asked to speak to a manager he was an Asian guy who kept saying “look brother, look brother” when I asked him to stop patronising me, he said right then will end this call right here and slammed the phone down!

From the start from Ahmed coming to see us at our deceased father’s property right to the completion seen through by Hana the service we received was outstanding. In particular Hana took ownership in dealing with our buyer’s solicitor in following up robustly pushing the completion process through. We cannot thank @Whitegates enough

In the last year I have sold two properties and bought one property from Whitegates and I’m happy to say their customer service is second to none.
