Generally speaking

Generally speaking, having talked with actual White Helmet first responders at some length online over a number of years now, I cannot agree with the other previous review here by lived experience of my own. And I found somewhat a different thing entirely than those here trying to deal in the dogma of pro Assad regime propaganda. Trying to label the White Helmets as a fighting force or terrorist entity. No. I found dedicated hard working individuals who risk their lives to attempt rescue of civilians under the Russian bomb and artillery exchanges of all sides. White Helmets first responders. I remain immensely proud to call one such a White Helmet first responder as personal friend online in Facebook. And upon my Facebook personally administered group on prayers and awareness for Free Syria, I wholeheartedly support them. I don't support Russian or Assad forces bombing of hospitals or of civilian areas. Nor do I support similar terrible actions of any kind of Syrian terrorist organisations be they Kurdish or anti Assad government. I do not support any so termed Al Qaeda type group affiliates or Islamist forces operating there against Russia or Assad as terrorists, while hiding behind Syrian civilians as human shields either for that matter.

The White Helmets: wolves in sheep's clothing?

A quote from PressTV on this organisation:

"The White Helmets was founded in Turkey in 2013 by former British MI5 officer James Le Mesurier.

Since its establishment, the group has received at least $55 million from the British Foreign Office, $23 million or more from the US Office of Transition Initiatives and untold millions from Qatar [all enemies of Syria's government].

Both Damascus and Moscow have accused the volunteer group of having staged the suspected chemical weapons attack in the town of Douma in Syria's Eastern Ghouta region on April 7."

Set up by MI5? Funded by Syria's enemies. And we're expected to believe that this is a trustworthy, humanitarian, impartial organisation? Their recent evacuation from Syria by the Israelis [another of Syria's enemies] will tell you who is really behind the White Helmets.
