Ignore the professional advertising

Watch your pockets for the pickpockets; watch your bag for invading hands; watch your feet for the dog crap; watch your card in restaurants for the cloners; watch the shops for short changing and the bill for dual pricing. Both are systemic. The hotels are over priced. The underpasses bus stops and public transport are the refuge of the drunks and druggies. The streets are littered with bogus beggars. Even Macdonalds charges it's customers to use the loo. It is a smile free zone.
Bratislava and Sopron both a pleasant, safe and affordable experience.
