Took my car in with a stiff steering issue, they advised >£300 of work to rectify it plus wheel alignment.
I took it in and got a call to tell me they’d forgotten to order a part (bushes) so they would do everything but, they did so.
I waited until half an hour before they closed as i hadn’t heard from them, the car was ready they just hadn’t bothered to tell me, i got there just before closing to collect, the car was exactly the same as i’d left it in, and by the time i returned (15 mins or so) they were closed.
I tried to get an appointment through whocanfixmycar and by phone for the next 3 weeks but was either ignored or fobbed off with promises of a call back.
I took the car elsewhere and they fixed the issue for £80, and told me nothing they’d recommended had any relevance to the original issue, as well as having one wheel so far out of alignment that it shouldn’t have been driven at all.
I relayed this information to the garage who just laughed and said it was nonsense, despite the car being fixed now, and not by them…
Currently taking legal action to recoup unnecessary losses, and damages for having been given a dangerous car to take on the road.
Absolute cowboys.
⁷Took my car to charge up the air con 3 weeks ago. Left my car there for 2 hours and when I received it, the air con was nice and chilly. Had the car for 2 weeks and I hardly drive the car but when I do, I expect the same chilly air con all the time. The very next day I drove my car and it was blowing warm air. Took my car back and the man said it might be an intermittent issue. He said he would call around to find out what the issue is and after chasing them, there was no joy and I'm out of pocket with no air con. Poor service would definitely not go back.
In reply to the reply of my original review. I have my mobile with me at all times and if anyone calls me, I answer my phone within 2 rings. The fact that the reply says the manager, Dan, has tried to contact me is an outright lie and proves how unreliable and dishonest this company is.

Came for new tyres, which were fine and good value. Unfortunately the tracking of the car wasn't. I came back three times to have it corrected, and each time it was progressively worse. Eventually I went to Kwik fit and they put it right. Cost me an extra £80, so I do feel aggrieved. Shame really. I paid for tracking twice. The staff were fine. Pity they couldn't correct the job.

Excellent customer services!!
Went for A/C gas as mine had run out. Husband just had knee operated on so was on crutches.
Couple of lads working there went over and beyond their job. Brought out 2 chairs and gave us an ice cream and lollipop each whilst they sorted the car out. Top blokes... well done. Will recommend to family and friends

A friendly and professional experience from start to finish. I got a quote online with Tom, who responds quickly and is very helpful. I made the booking through Tom and the required suspension work was carried out as promised at the agreed price (considerably cheaper than the main dealer had quoted). I found all the staff to be knowledgeable and friendly.
Would not hesitate to recommend.

What can I say about Tony and his team at Wilko Moto Save in Hunslet, Leeds. From car servicing to number plate making and fitting, right through to honest advice and solid recommendations, they consistently go above and beyond. I’m genuinely grateful for everything they do.
The team here is outstanding, my go to garage for servicing, parts, and guidance. They always put the customer first, look for ways to save you money, and offer discounts whenever they can. Fantastic service, and a huge thank you to Tony and the team for the brilliant work you do.
Happy customer.

Left car on Bank holiday Monday for rear brake disc and pads plus hand brake cables replacement.Quoted over £600 for the job.Know it's on the very high side.but needed car for Tuesday use .Anyway was told need to order parts for Tuesday So Tuesday afternoon rang garage and told car not ready till Wednesday .Car finally collected Wednesday lunchtime. Went on line to see cost etc.and the high end cost should be around £450 ..My negotiated price was £600 which is 33% more and it took two days.

I received excellent customer service from the team at Wilco Motosave . The issue was a rounded hex wheel nut which required removal with a special bolt socket which I could not remove after many attempts . I booked my car in for the following day and it was removed successfully by Joshua and he also checked my alternator drive belt for tightness . I would certainly recommend this organisation for their all - round knowledge and above all customer service .

I have used Wilco Motosave Lincoln, Wragby Road, for around 20 years. I have always had good, genuine and helpful service that is fairly priced.

Miserable rude staff, booked car in for 2 new tyres booked in at ten so waited over an hour and theyd not even started so went to kwik fit got tyres fitted straight away without even booking in. Utter rubbish lots of other tyre places in Selby.

I bought four tyres online and booked them to be fitted at Wilko Automotive Car Care.
The tyres were fitted last Wednesday at their garage in Lundwood, Barnsley. A few days later, while driving on the motorway, the rear wheel on the driver’s side almost came off. When I stopped and checked, the wheel nuts were extremely loose, almost as if they had only been finger-tightened. I checked the other wheels and they were loose as well.
This is extremely dangerous and unacceptable. Poor workmanship like this could easily have caused a serious accident.
When I returned to complain, the manager only showed me a paper where the mechanic had written the torque value used. Writing numbers on paper proves nothing – what matters is whether the job was actually done properly.
Very disappointing and potentially dangerous experience. I would strongly advise people to think carefully before trusting this garage with tyre fitting.

I was introduced to this garage by the RAC and I they fitted me a new clutch on my Volvo xc40. The price was fair and the communication was great. Everyone is friendly and helpful.
about a year ago i had really good service at the york depot , but last week i booked in for front tracking [potholes] when arrived at 3pm the first thing i noticed was the chairs in the retail shop had all been removed . This meant sitting in the car until it was taken inside and then presumably wandering around the shop, in the hope you would buy something. This never happened however , they were all smoking and drinking tea when we arrived and 25 mins later when i asked for my keys back , they were still drinking tea. I know this sort of thing happens in our broken country all the time , but it is still rubbish

Had car booked in since Wednesday for Saturday at 11am , arrived on time to be told there was nobody available to look at my car until 15:30 and to come back . There was no way I was trekking back there at 15:30 when you book your car in you expect to be seen. Absolutely disgusting customer service. Hence I will be taking my car elsewhere and giving someone else my custom . You lost Circa £500 sale today motorsave.
In response to my reply , the guy took my name and registration number when we called on Wednesday and told us it was all booked in for Saturday at 11am. So as far as I was concerned, one of your staff told us it was booked in , I had no reason to not believe them. They have obviously failed to apply the booking to your system resulting in inconveniencing me and the person I had to get to follow me there to bring me home and thus looking you trade.

Phoned up to see if they fixed puncture repairs.. as I had a screw in my tyre .. YES thankfully they do.
Asked if there was any chance they could fit me in this morning, said if I was happy to leave it for a few hours they could sort it for me.
Brilliant service, wasn’t there too long and all sorted. Really appreciated it.
Lovely friendly staff, recommend and will use them in future
Thank you ☺️
